Just Shagging Grads thread 15: Join the viroids for mucus plugs and ball bouncing

TheBooMonster · 11/11/2014 22:00

Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 15th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The thread we have graduated from is [http://www.mumsnet.com/Talk/conception/2230396-Remember-Remember-JS-in-November-no-to-bum-fun-car-shagging-and-worms-Control-your-stray-wombles-and-windy-boobs-Shout-WANKBADGERS-at-the-world-of-TTC-and-get-your-cape-on-for-JUST-SHAGGING-32 here] in its 32nd outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread in postnatal clubs [http://www.mumsnet.com/Talk/postnatal_clubs/1472763-Just-Mumming-Along-viroids-2?pg=36&order= here] for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates! It's a bit quiet at the moment, but with all these upduffed viroids hopefully it won't be for long!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

So, roll call below please, viroids!

RPopz · 16/11/2014 16:35

Oh noes... That means babypopz is going to sleep all day and be awake all night! Shock

DulcetMoans · 16/11/2014 16:37

That's reassuring actually popz and zyla, DH said it's probably because I'm tired (was about1am) but thought he was just trying to make me feel better!

How funny nessa! At least you know when to expect it!

Leela5 · 16/11/2014 16:40

Agree - I get cramps when dehydrated or tired. Not many symptoms today but dh says my boobs are bigger.

Leela5 · 16/11/2014 16:41

I never knew that ness! That's really interesting :)

teejayem · 16/11/2014 16:44

Does anyone get a funny tight crampy pain in their womble area if they stand up too quickly? I've been batch cooking nearly all day, so standing up, went and and had a little sit down and the oven timer went off and I leapt up to go and see to it but in the process got a pain which I can't really describe on one side, just felt like muscles had tightened or shortened. It was enough for me to say fuck, but went as soon as I moved again. Weird?

wilmabedrock · 16/11/2014 17:01

I get lots of wee pains like that Tee.
I'll be quite happy if this one moves in the same schedule after birth as it's not ridiculously active overnight. Not sure if MiniWil followed that rule though.

I got cramps if I'm on my feet a lot Dulcet or if I've overdone it. Now I get braxton hicks instead Envy .

ChatEnOeuf · 16/11/2014 17:04

It's true, DD was wild in the late afternoons and all night, exactly the same as a baby...you're right though, the worries just change with time.

Glad the sickness has passed, Zyla.

I would not be giving up my bed for anyone, that's very generous of you La.

Just when I thought this spotting was stopping, it's back. How the hell I'm supposed to relax and enjoy this pregnancy I don't know. Can't wait until I feel movement, I'll feel much more able to monitor things then.

Leela5 · 16/11/2014 18:29

Hope you're ok chat - try not to worry yourself too much I know it's hard xxx can you speak your consultant again this week?

I've just poadigis and for first time ever got 3+ weeks :). Last time it never went above 2-3 then went back down to 1-2. Feel like it's a milestone.

Friends arriving in a minute they texted to say they'll share my spare single bed and would feel uncomfortable if we gave up our bed. All good Grin

DulcetMoans · 16/11/2014 18:37

Winner la!

That's crappy chat, did they warn you to expect some more? I guess they can't know bit defo speak to consultant if you can.

I might be googling. I should stop, shouldn't i?

RPopz · 16/11/2014 18:51

Woo La! Maybe you should charge the houseguests to sleep in your bed... to fund the poas habit Wink

What are you Googling missus? Stop it immediately Grin

laurenamium · 16/11/2014 19:15

Hi viroids just checking in. I'm feeling very emotional so going to go sleep it off before I shot and cry anymore on DP!

Hope you're okay chat!

DulcetMoans · 16/11/2014 19:25

I've done '6weeks pregnant' as I have no apps etc yet so seeing growth. Then '6weeks symptoms', '6 weeks no symptoms', '6weeks travel sickness' and '6weeks scan'. I have become obsessed.

Sorry you aren't feeling great lauren, hope the rest helps.

Curled up on the sofa with cats and a cuppa now. Keeping relaxed is important Wink

wilmabedrock · 16/11/2014 20:11

Step away from the Google Dulce, that way lies madness. I google everything, all the time.

Lauren, don't shoot him whatever he's done Wink . Hope you feel better tomorrow.

Need to find the Rennies, have overeaten again.

wilmabedrock · 16/11/2014 20:12

La that's brilliant news about the +3 weeks. Are we going to stop POAS now? Grin

RPopz · 16/11/2014 21:06

I think we can let her have a bit longer since Min didn't stop til 20 odd weeks Wink

RPopz · 16/11/2014 21:07

That googling is not too naughty Dulce. As you were Wink

Nessalina · 16/11/2014 21:33

Tee - that sounds like a round ligament pain, I used to get them a lot. It's like a particularly vicious stitch! I used to get the odd stab when sneezing or standing up too fast, and then toward the end I'd get them for longer and have to hobble about wincing Confused Not nice!

La - they sound like good friends! Smile Great news on the 3+ - how satisfying! Does that mark the end of the POAS display then??

Chat - how infuriating Confused It'll be nothing, but it's a shame your body can't give you a bit of a break!

Dulcet! Step away from doctor Goofle! Grin

Lauren - what's bugging you? Man Rubbishness or just general preg rage?

wilmabedrock · 16/11/2014 21:44

Hahaha I forgot about Min's second trimester stick peeing.

How are you getting on Ness? Think Scoob has any news?

Sorry about spotting Chat, that would drive me crazy. Hope you're ok.

Can someone please explain why my back is only sore when lying down?

ChatEnOeuf · 16/11/2014 22:05

If I wasn't already crazy, it'd drive me too. I can email my consultant anytime, and he's happy to squeeze me in if I need/want to be seen so I'm in good hands. Ness I would love a break, I think this is just how it's going to be this time around. I'd take that if I knew all was going to be fine, I might even stop moaning about it :)

Yay for the 3+, La - lovely milestone to have reached!

Dulcet - hand hold Thanks

Leela5 · 16/11/2014 22:54

Lovely evening, yes no more POAS unless I am anxious

Couldn't finish my main - for done reason the smell of it made me vomitous

dulcet Flowers step away from the google. You'll always find good and bad answers on there. I agree also about July bus, too many folk all with different symptoms it can be worrying

What's the matter Lauren?

Nessalina · 17/11/2014 00:34

Things are going really well thanks! Breastfeeding is good despite tongue tie, and he's putting on weight Smile It's just all about him at the minute, my day is 100% baby, but it is wonderful! The bad news is that the pregnancy worrying is now baby worrying - I figure it'll stop when he hits 30, lol Grin

wilmabedrock · 17/11/2014 04:30

I've just joined you in a spot of late night/early morning googling Dulcet. Wasn't a good idea. This back pain is driving me crazy.

Good to hear everything is going well Ness. Is MrNess off work?

Nessalina · 17/11/2014 04:39

Morning Wil Grin
Sympathy on the back pain Confused My hips were fricking agony by the end, and lying down was the worst. Having the baby has sorted it right out though, so at least there's an end in sight for you! Smile
Yep, DH has taken two weeks off. He's a supply teacher though, so no paternity pay Hmm He's on a temporary gig til Xmas just working mornings, so it should be ok even when he does go back.
So impressed with my lil' man, he's slept 1-4 Grin Whole family asleep at the same time - win!

wilmabedrock · 17/11/2014 04:53

Aw sounds like he's doing well. That sucks about paternity pay, although think MrWil only gets one week paid and then second week unpaid. He only took one week last time as birth coincided with holidays (also a teacher).

It's my upper back, not hips/pelvis and I think what's driving me most nuts is not knowing what's causing it. It feels deeper down than a muscle thing if that makes sense.

ZylaB · 17/11/2014 05:31

Aww ness that all sounds lovely, like he's doing great :)

What do your DH's teach?

la yay for 3+ Grin
