So sorry to hear your news gr33y - hope you are getting plenty of support and give yourself time to rest to recover xx

ChatEnOeuf · 12/11/2014 13:16

Oh Gr33dy I'm so sorry Sad. I hope you have someone to hug you in RL. The mc boards here are lovely sources of support too if you don't feel like talking yet Thanks

Phryn · 12/11/2014 13:37

So sorry Gr33dy - it's a horrible experience. Really hope you and your partner are getting good support IRL. Don't rush to go back to work - go when you are ready. I found when I told friends IRL about my miscarriage people were very supportive and many confessed to having gone through it themselves before having pregnancies that did end in a baby. As others have also said the miscarriage and ttc after miscarriage (when you're ready) threads are full of lovely helpful ladies.

You will get through this - hoping to see you drop by with news of a super sticky bean sooner than you think. Flowers

cuphat · 12/11/2014 13:41

So sorry to hear your news gr33. Take as much time as you need of work. Take care and big hugs.

I had my booking in appointment today. Was quite good. My bmi is 18 so means i have to have extra growth scans. Not sure if i should be concerned or not. At least I'll get to see more of my baby. I better eat loads over Christmas. Dh said i didn't ask enough questions when i told him it was a pretty straight forward appointment. He said i should have as about my morning sickness. I said to him i have only actually had it 4 times so I'm not that bad considering.

Gr33dyeggs · 12/11/2014 14:57

Thanks all. I hope I'm the last bad news here!
Have just been to that page envious - I really hope the campaign helps.
Lots of support in RL here, sadly we know from experience what to expect and how to move forward.

I too wonder if there are any multiples here. And hows your scan chookford? Positive stuff from now on hopefully.

Sun, to me you sound like you have almost exactly what i have had since about 10 weeks.. The tiredness being to main symptom and nausea easing off. Placenta takes over from around 10/11 weeks so symptoms do lessen and the bloating is the nxt main thing that i am suffering from now at 12 weeks.

Tryingreallyhard84 · 12/11/2014 16:11

Oh Gr33ddy I'm sorry to hear that. I only joined recently but it's always sad to hear that.

Tory B34 - I hope I come back to love cakes and baking soon. At the moment eating cake, thinking of eating cake or baking makes me sick. You are very thoughtful making individuals for those on shift.

To those feeling sick, hope you get some respite soon. I'm out tonight with a friend who doesn't know I'm pregnant and doesn't know about my food aversions. Not looking forward to her food choices.

We are about the same stage, I'm 10+1 today, nausea is much better, I'm eating like a horse though. I'm very bloated and look around 20 weeks! But hey it's 4th time for me so I'm not stressing, I'm usually a size 8-10 but will be needing bigger jeans soon.
My boons feel fine, they're quite big anyhow so apart from a few tony bumps around my areola they are no different. I'm needing to get up around 5 am for a wee when I don't normally.
12 week scan appt came today for 26/11 so fingers crossed baby is still happy in there then. I feel more worries this time though, must be an age thing for me.
Off to charge around in our usual Wednesday routine of ballet/ football/ tutor/ friend for tea etc etc, need to start tea too, but only just loaded the dishwasher following last nights!

I'm a hobby baker/cake decorator and have the mammoth task of making my sisters wedding cake this week, shes getting married on saturday. Hoping to have it complete tonight. Tomorrows taken up with scan and hospital and friday getting nails/hair done on fri.... The baking has triggered my nausea this week!

sorry gr33dy - glad you have RL support

I am very envious of all this cake! HG has reduced my diet down to potato and apples and ready salted crisps.

Finally got my scan date for the 5th december which feels a little late as i'll be 14 weeks. Not sure if i can wait that long
