Thanks for the add. I am up to page 25 on thread 2 now.... won't be too long until I'm up to date!

Morning everyone. Got my booking in this morning. I'm quite excited actually, think it will make it all seem more real. I still have days where I forget that I'm pregnant. DH had some Jim Beam on Saturday, and I said that I might have a couple with some coke. DH looked at me like Shock and said "you bloody won't, that stuff's 40%!". Then it hit me again that no, I can't really drink hard spirits at the moment Grin

jazzyjenbo · 12/11/2014 08:26

Good luck with our first official 12 week scan today chookford. I hope everything goes smoothly and urs marks the beginning of lots of healthy scans from the june babes!
(Still wondering if we have any multiples lurking in our midst) Wink

cuphat · 12/11/2014 08:36

Yes, good luck for all the scans coming up.

ots · 12/11/2014 08:36

Oh yeah good luck chookford Grin Exciting that we're starting reaching that first milestone :) . Surely one of us will have twins jazzy - my mum is convinced that I will (although she has so far said that to every one of my siblings too!)

iwantkhaleesiseyebrows · 12/11/2014 08:52

Good luck for the scan today Smile

fortywinx · 12/11/2014 09:14

Hi all, sorry it's been a few days.
Just checking in to say that I'm feeler rougher than a badger's a*. Bladder infection on Sunday/Monday, and either the anti-biotics are making me sick (never reacted badly to anti-biotics before) or I have the return of the dreaded "morning" sickness :(
Every time I sneeze, cough or belch, I retch or actually throw up. Threw up unexpectedly when walking the dog this morning thanks to what I thought was just going to be a burp. Been sick a few times since Monday (was also almost sick in Tesco car park on Friday but I thought that was because of travel sickness) and can barely stomach food (I managed a satsuma, a Graze box flapjack and half a plain jacket potato yesterday).
Going to ring GP again today to see whether he thinks it's the tablets or "just" morning sickness making it's unwelcome return. So not happy, I'm 10 weeks tomorrow and my app tells me that the symptoms of morning sickness should be fading not coming back Sad.

pasbeaucoupdegendarme · 12/11/2014 09:15

Exciting to have reached the 12 week scan stage! Makes me feel like we're making real progress! Hope they go swimmingly for everyone.

Is anyone else getting really weird dreams? I don't remember having them until much later on last time, when I had the usual giving birth to a hairbrush type thing.....! Also I find I'm waking in the night with really vivid memories from things that happened a long time ago, almost like waking dreams.

Anyway, last night's main dream involved me having to ring the tax office for help with a form, and the phone was answered by our very own Zaccheryquack Grin You were very helpful and nice and asked lots of questions about dd and the pregnancy but I wasn't sure it was really you so didn't ask any back, then I felt really guilty for seeming so selfish when I put the phone down! (Not sure whether the form got filled in or not.)

Morning ladies!

Good luck with your scan today chookford how exciting! Did you have an early scan or will this be first time you see your little bean? Smile

Also good luck with your booking in ots Mine is two weeks today. I seem to be right at the back of the thread queue for all the appointments with an edd of 30th June. It is fun hearing how everyone else gets on though!

Interesting chat about the height/bump showing. I'm 5' 4", does that mean I'm going to be massive lol? Grin So far (7+1) I seem to only have extreme bloating by evening time, by the morning it's all gone down again. The lower part of my pelvis does seem to be rock hard though.

I also wanted to take my hat off to all the ladies on here that are suffering with constant sickness and nausea. Up until the weekend I thought I was one of the lucky ones that wasn't going to suffer from this, but wouldn't you know it, the past few days I've been getting waves of sickness and yesterday I felt horrendous all day. Couldn't eat, smells in the office were making me gag, couldn't concentrate on work and generally just wanted to curl up in a ball and make it go away. Nothing today so far (touch wood) but I would just like to say well done to you all, I've no idea how you're doing it!!!

Teenie I had a scan at the epu when I was 8+ 5 so this will be second scan just praying everything is still ok in there!

I'm 5'2 and wasn't particularly big with my dd so think I got away with that, I have a bump now but am hoping I won't be the size of a house by the end!

It's so hard the waiting and not knowing isn't it chookford We decided not to get an early scan so just waiting it out until the 12 week one and it just seems to be taking forever. It will be so amazing today to see how much your little one has grown Smile

Oh Tori poor you! I've only had a few days of this, don't know how you've managed 6 weeks! Yes I'm sure a few of ladies on here have mentioned about getting something from the doctors for sickness, might be worth going to see your GP and asking. How far on are you?

silversixpence · 12/11/2014 10:51

had a really good day yesterday, spent an hour gardening, did some cooking and DS had a friend over for a playdate..in comparison today I feel sick and tired and don't want to do anything!

Now 10+6, it's going sooo slowly! My booking appointment is next week and the scan the week after so at least i have a few things to look forward to.

Hi ladies.
Its been confirmed I've had a complete miscarriage. Thanks for your support. I'm really sad to be leaving this group, you seem like a lovely group of ladies!
All the best for your pregnancies. I'll pop in from time to time to see how you're all doing.
