Tori 3D films also give me headaches and make me feel sick. I thought it was just me! Hope you get through it. Do think I'd bother.

piggle100 · 09/11/2014 12:27

Hi all, hope you're enjoying /surviving your Sunday. I managed to do a full afternoon of housework yesterday, help put some shelves up (perhaps shouldn't have..) and then go out to work in the evening. So nice to feel half normal again. I'm paying for it today though feeling tired, sick and dizzy. I no longer have painful boobs at all though and hoping this is normal. I am 10+5. I have first MW app on Tuesday, which has been a long time coming. I hope she's nice as I think I need a bit of hand holding- haven't a clue about much.

pasbeaucoupdegendarme · 09/11/2014 17:04

Singing for three remembrance ceremonies and one lot of maths planning down... Am too tired to think!!

Hope everyone else is happy and well today.

Nothing much productive here either. Tried writing my essay but it is so hard to concentrate and i keep watching friends instead. Now watching four weddings while pretending to write another section of my essay. I'm going to London next weekend to watch tennis so trying to focus on that instead!

MrsExtraOrdinary · 09/11/2014 18:04

I've also got mountains of work to do but have done absolutely nothing today. Slept in until nearly 11, after going to bed at 10pm. Laid on the sofa all day. Every time I get up I feel like I'll fall down. Headache all afternoon. Stomach ache and cramps won't let up. Just had a massive blob of very dark yellow stringy cm, I think maybe the placenta is in bedding itself, but it fucking hurts! Dh had to go out so decided I might like to make roast for 8! Er no dear get them a take away. Angry

excitedbutsick · 09/11/2014 19:08

Hi everyone,

It's my first time posting here. I'm 27 and currently 10 weeks, this is my first pregnancy. I've had a bit of an awful week as I pulled my back while vomiting, had a trip to A+E to get checked out as I was finding it hard to walk, bed, do anything useful and then got sent to epu to make sure everything is happening in the right place (thankfully it is). I have been off food for the last 2-3 weeks as even the thought of eating makes me want to be sick.
I'm feeling better today and have even managed to do a little bit of shopping without making a fool of myself in the street.

pasbeaucoupdegendarme · 09/11/2014 19:18

Welcome, excited... Hope you'll be able to change your username soon to something less sicky!

MrsExtraOrdinary · 09/11/2014 19:39

Welcome excited, I hope the sickness settles soon for you.

Well I'm mighty annoyed. Dh is supervising ds and Dss to bring my work stuff into my workshop. I just want to cry. It's extremely heavy, fabric, cupboards and an industrial sewing machine. They couldn't organise a piss up In a brewery. Dss has Aspergers it's like asking him to fly to the moon and back. I have no patience left this evening and I'm not well enough to lift anything. I'm trying to organise them from the sofa! It's not going well. Angry I wish these cramps would fuck off! SadI've got work out on my bench if they land anything on it I will cry some more. Why are men so useless! Or is it just the men in my house. Feeling mighty outnumbered tonight.

BingoBonkers · 09/11/2014 19:40

I'm a bit worried. I occasionally, eg when I stretch unintentionally, get a shooting pain on my right hand side. It seems to travel up my side and it hurts. For some reason and I have no idea why I'm worried this could mean an ectopic. Of course it could just be ligaments complaining and telling me to stop bloody doing stupid things which make me twist and stretch. I'm never going to sleep tonight with this on my mind.

sparkle17 · 09/11/2014 19:44

Welcome excited sounds like you have been through it quite bad recently.

I feel so pathetic. Been crying because i couldn't manage my dinner. Feel so bad for dh making such an effort and making healthy meals. I think i just want beans on toast! I cant bear any complicated meals and it keeps making me upset.

BingoBonkers · 09/11/2014 19:45

DH wonders if I have pulled a muscle. His follow up words of comfort were "well you can't do anything about it if it is". Yeah. Thanks for that. Men are rubbish.

Sparkle I get really stressed out at complicated meals too - all it takes is the question 'what do you want for dinner' to make me feel like life is difficult (pathetic!!) I'm tending to eat snacks all day instead, and getting my fruit/veg protein in them in small bits. Makes family dinners a bit disjointed!

I've got a set of books to mark by the morning - my fault for having a ridiculous early night last night Blush

AnythingNotEverything · 09/11/2014 20:10

I could've kissed DH this morning when he said he'd already planned this week's meals. I can't bear being asked what I want. I don't want anything. At the same time I want everything, but there's no happy anticipation of food. And it makes me irritable.

You're not alone ladies Smile

Bingo - I suspect you'd know if it were ectopic, but if you're worried do seek professional advice.

Excited - welcome! Sounds like you've had a rough time and like you have a high level of morning sickness. Don't be afraid to see your GP as there are things you can take which help.

MrsExtraOrdinary · 09/11/2014 20:18

Tori you have done well! Tiffin now that's something I've never made but think I need some now you've mentioned it. Grin

cuphat · 09/11/2014 20:21

Bingo, I had similar pains a couple of weeks ago. Similar to Tori, I'd already had an early scan showing I have a corpus luteum cyst on that side so I just put it down to that. I only had it for 10 minutes or so as a one off though (and I'd overdone it beforehand).

excitedbutsick · 09/11/2014 20:44

Thank you everyone for your welcomes. I'm already taking an anti-sickness tablet which has reduced but not solved the vomiting. I'm managing to cook a full dinner tonight which seems like a major achievement. I hope that I continue feeling this way next week when I'm back at work, because running away from people does not look professional.

jazzyjenbo · 09/11/2014 20:56

Hi everyone, finally caught up on the past few days, i've been really busy.

On the build up to my sisters wedding nxt sat now, taken this week off as i am making her wedding cake. Afew may remember i've got a side business making special occasion cakes.

Welcome to the newbees, thinking of you gr33, sorry to those suffering sickness, those with headaches.. Speak to your gp, u can get cocodemol prescribed.

Mat clothes... I bought jeans from next, new look and red herring... Tops from river island and just wore normal long length tops or bought from the tall section.

Baby clothes - if anyone is interested in some bundles of like new neutral clothes/vests/babygrows let me know.. I have tons i was about to list on ebay as we were bought so much each time. I can always put picks on the fb group?.... And later if anyone finds out they are having a girl.. Again i have tons i'm sorting out. (Some nwt)

silversixpence · 09/11/2014 22:46

I am feeling more sick than before, and had to spend hours in the car today which didn't help.

I am wearing these Red Herring trousers now which are the most comfy maternity trousers I've ever had, and look smart too! I am now considering a second pair as they've reduced the price further. I have struggled finding decent jeans though, the M&P pair I got from ebay are useless.

Big thunder storm last night + insomnia in the middle of the night + stupid demanding bladder that wanted the loo three times last night (only gave into it twice) = far too little sleep and a grumpy phryn who does not want to commute 1hr plus for sodding work Angry Envy Angry

Gr33dyeggs · 10/11/2014 08:14

So I can't arrange my own scan as suggested by dr at weekend. I have to go back through a and e. FFS. Apparently not even guaranteed one then. My local service is shit.
Hope everyone else is faring better.

BingoBonkers · 10/11/2014 08:32

Gr33dy that is awful. Do you not have an epu that you can get to? At A&E I would suggest becoming very distressed and emotional and hopefully they should scan you. When I had my bleed with my youngest they did wheel in a machine to scan me whilst I lay on a sofa in an office off the triage section. I'm so sorry they are being so cold. So angry on your behalf.

I've calmed down about my self diagnosis! Pregnancy is one huge worry I find. Been awake since 3:45. Going to be a loooong day. Booking in appt later. Well as long as the MW is not delivering a baby that is.
