Fingers crossed Phryn.

Hope we all sleep well tonight and have a positive few days. I feel a lot of people in this thread have required extra tlc recently. Here's hoping for sunnier pastures ahead xx

My booking in app is tomorrow I already have a pot to wee in and am winder whether to discuss cervical mucous with the mw. I had her last time and didn't much like her level of care.

Compared with all the difficulties I've read here, I feel awful to moan. My only real symptoms are crushing fatigue, ability to nap, and desire for milk (only ever drunk in pregnancy). I wish I had something more to show I was actually pregnant. Can't believe it is true. But then, I should be careful what I wish for!

Hope you all have a good night's sleep, with minimal toilet trips, and wake tomorrow refreshed and ready for the weekend Smile

Detective - thinking of you lovely. Hope you've got some real life support xx

So sorry to hear people's sad news today Ginger, Notso and Superglue. Thinking of you all.

Also sorry to hear you are having a tough time detective. Have not been keeping up to date this week but from comments on here it sounds like something awful has happened.

Uneventful week here. Just been busy at work and not keeping up with our thread! Glad to see some lovely scan photos as I have been catching up. 3 and a bit weeks to go until my next scan. Really want the time to go quickly!

Pas our due dates are really close. My early scan moved my date to the 9th!

Bazza2 · 07/11/2014 07:21

So sorry to hear ginger, notso and superglue.

And detective, I would like to send a bollock punch to your 'darling' so-called husband.

MrsKrios · 07/11/2014 08:24

Notso, Ginger and Superglue, I'm so sorry. Such sad news Sad Thanks

WillowHouse · 07/11/2014 08:48

natso, ginger and superglue i am truly sorry. I echo what others have said about the mc boards on here. Make sure ypu get plenty of RL support to.

My booking appointment went fab - i've moved betwern babies so this is a new midwife and she was lovely. She'd already read my notes and was utterly wonderful. She going to support me requesting a vaginal birth and is putting counselling in place. I didn't even have the usual argumemts about devling certain testd. So nice to have a midwife supporting me Grin

bubalou · 07/11/2014 09:16

Morganlove · 07/11/2014 09:18

Really sorry to hear of all the sad news yesterday. I had a miscarriage Dec last year at 8 weeks so can totally sympathise. Please all look after yourselves, take more time than you think off work - I went back far to quickly.

I just needed to post as I'm very worried. Currently 7wks and 4 days. Been feeling sick most mornings and actually throwing up on some. Today I woke up and sickness has gone. Concerned something is wrong. Last time I didn't get sickness at all but sore boobs, they stopped hurting and I miscarried a couple of days after. Is this happening again with the sickness this time (boobs are still sore though) or can it come and go, or stop this early? I was expecting to feel sick until at least week 12.

Any advice/past experiences would be gratefully received.

GuybrushThreepwoodMP · 07/11/2014 09:22

Morgan read my post from 21:37 yesterday. Most likely, all is fine. When are you next seeing someone?

Morganlove · 07/11/2014 09:29

That's reassuring. I guess I'm not far off 8 weeks. Got my booking in apt tomorrow so will mention it to mw then. Stupidly getting myself very worried that history will repeat itself which is really not helping matters. Thanks for your reply x

MrsExtraOrdinary · 07/11/2014 09:42

Guy ive been feeling pretty sick and dreadful, then yesterday I woke up feeling fab. Today I feel like shit again. I didn't sleep very well. Spent most of the morning gagging at everything. Ive just managed 2 satsumas, so hoping that's going to help. The first few months it's very up and down. Try not to worry too much.

Morgan I know the feeling. I've had two miscarriages this year and I'm completely paranoid about everything. Do you think an early scan would reassure you? They should be able to see a HB at this stage so it might be worth asking your midwife. I've had some spotting and I'm not feeling as sick today, I'm hoping and praying this is all normal but, frankly, I'm scared out of my mind.

Another episode of pink spotting/CM today. Chat and others, really hoping everything is ok!
Im just really worried if I do MC what to do about getting to hospital and support now we have a son. Can't up and leave in the night like before and haven't told anyone yet.

teeniedeenie34 · 07/11/2014 12:18

Afternoon ladies!

Hope everyone is well today. I'd definitely agree on the worrying as your symptoms come and go. I had major cramping for the first two weeks and that has pretty much subsided apart from the odd twinge every now and again. My boobs have only started to get a bit tender from yesterday (6+2) and I wouldn't say I have full blown nausea but just don't fancy certain foods anymore. I worry every single minute of everyday that I should be 'feeling more' but my mum reassured me that she had absolutely no symptoms and neither did my aunty during pregnancy so perhaps I follow after her side of the family.

Sunbathing I have major stomach gurgling and squelching after I eat. It's really quite loud at times lol! I like to think it's my little bean starting to take what it needs from me Smile

Phryn · 07/11/2014 12:27

Scan at EPU this morning showed wiggly happy looking baby seen with heartbeat and limbs more clear than last time. Has grown since last scan but EDD has been moved back a day (scan last week said June 8th, scan today showed June 9th - apparently this day changing is common but reassurance from those who have had this before would be fab). Feeling so relieved. Brown CM seems to have stopped. Thanks so much for your support.

Gr33dy and others who are spotting I really do feel your pain. Hoping that you can get reassurance and support and for sticky beans for all.

Greetings all, I've been lurking from the beginning and thought it was time I said hi.

I'm 38 and 9 weeks pregnant with my first (wow, that's quite weird writing that!). Due mid June, and the paperwork for my booking apt and scan came through yesterday so it's all starting to get real.

In line with a lot of you, my sickness and tiredness seem to have disappeared in the last couple of days, which has been a huge relief, it was really starting to get me down. I think my DP has been bearing the brunt of my haywire emotions, so hopefully he'll start seeing the benefits soon.

My heart goes out to those who have experienced trauma on this thread - it's been heart breaking to read.
