Superglue, gingerbread and notso, so sorry to hear your sad news. Its devastating. As others have said, look after yourself and take as much time as you need to heal.

gingerbreadmam · 06/11/2014 19:41

thank you so much really appreciate it. i have given myself a tiny bit of hope by googling altho im sure its false. i tested 4 / 5 weeks ago on cb and got 2-3 weeks pregnant. using the way the dr dates you that would make me 9 weeks tomorrow or sunday my periods r a bit weird. i dont have a clue when i ovulate. now looking at info for people 6 weeks pregnant the size and the scan i saw today match up with that. maybe just maybe there is a tiny bit of hope for me yet. 2 weeks seems a long time to wait for a re-scan tho!

MrsExtraOrdinary · 06/11/2014 19:52

Perpetual and sunbathing today I noticed I felt more alive too and was able to eat a whole sandwich! Try not to worry, although I know you will. Now is about the time hormones begin to settle. I'm 9 weeks today too.

ots · 06/11/2014 19:58

I actually managed to eat dinner tonight. Feel sick now but it's the first time in ages I've eaten a real meal!

Wonder if anyone has any advice. Been in agony with my hand for a couple of weeks. Can't remember if I posted or not about it but went to the doctors last week and she said I have tendonitis. She said there's not really much I can take due to being pregnant and didn't want to prescribe anything. I know I can take paracetamol but I'm really reluctant to during the 1st trimester just in case. Tonight its been hurting a lot, I couldn't even lift the kettle just now. Just posting to moan really but if anyone does have any advice that would be great :)

yeah that does make sense although i dont understand why they add 2 weeks, thats what has always puzzled me. Do you know the reason and is it accurate?

I didnt know if they just did that as a safe bet if that makes sense as people dont generally know when they actually conceived?

Think i am just trying to create a bit of false hope which is no good in tbe long run.

So sorry for gingerbread, notsold and superglue:( I can imagine how devastated you must all be.

I'm feeling much less nauseous now (9+2) so maybe that is normal for this stage, I have my booking in scan tomorrow so hopefully will get a 12 week scan booked in soon.
Despite a positive scan only on Monday I'm nervous already about the next one! Roll on second trimester, I want to feel movements! ( and neurotically count them!!)

gingerbreadmam · 06/11/2014 20:27

According to the app i tracked periods on i should have ovulated around 20 september if i ovulate as presumed, as i werent trying to get pregnant ive never monitored ovulation so i dont know if this would be accurate.

the clearblue digital told me 2 - 3 weeks on 10 october so i dont really know how many weeks that would really make me if makes sense other than that the internet using my lmp tells me 9 weeks today or saturday (weird periods).

TheDetective, I don't know if you're still reading as you seem to be heading towards a decision but I just want to give you the biggest hug. xx

gingerbreadmam · 06/11/2014 20:51

Slacktacular · 06/11/2014 21:06

Oh gosh, ladies who have had bad news - feeling so sad for you. There but for the grace of God go any of us. I hope you all find strength beyond what you think you have.

Slacktacular · 06/11/2014 21:07

Just popping in to mark my place and wave. Not doing to badly here in camp Slack (except for a sick 2 ur old coughing half the night in my bed!). Other than that, got a bit of nausea that goes away if I feed it Ritz crackers, and my gradual subtle expansion keeps making my zip fly come down, so I'm walking around half the day flashing my knickers!

Oh and perpetual it's normal for ms to improve now. Last pregnancy mine did at 9 weeks and I'm 8 weeks now and seeing an improvement the last couple of days. The reason is the placenta starts to gradually take over in supporting the baby now which means the hcg levels start to reduce and therefore the symptoms can reduce as well.
So don't panic!

Phryn · 06/11/2014 21:44

So very sorry notsoold.

Am hoping that rescans for ginger and superglue will bring unexpected good news. I've done the two week wait between scans and know how torturous it can be flip flopping between hope and despair.

I've got an EPU scan booked in tomorrow morning to check on why the light cramping/pulling and the small amount of brown cm. It's not stopped but was only a tiny bit during the day. Crampy stuff only emerged in the evening. I know it could be fine but I really hate this. Boons still big and painful, still felt nauseous, vile taste in mouth and excess saliva is a new symptom. Please God may the brown cm just be placenta implantation/burrowing in related.

Big hugs to all tonight - thanks for your encouragement and support Flowers.

BingoBonkers · 06/11/2014 21:45

Hi all, lots to catch up on again! Thanks for the lovely comments re my scan, I certainly feel much more relaxed now and i'm allowing myself to enjoy these little flutterings I can feel. I think they're baby, they might well not be, but i'm enjoying them all the same.

notso I am so sorry for your sad news, please take care of yourself Flowers :(

gingerbread and superglue sending you lots of positive thoughts, really hoping you get good news and things are ok at the re-scans. big hugs and Flowers

thanks for that Envious it's useful to know that others have had bleeds etc and everything remained fine :)

hope those of you feeling poorly feel better soon! I have mostly felt exhausted and sick if I don't eat but nothing too major

good luck for tomorrow glenpip

that's lovely mrse :) I got nominated last year and was so touched, it just felt lovely that someone had thought of me :)

my 12 week scan is 17th Nov Jazzy so not too long after yours :)

sunbathing i can't remember if i mentioned that I have ragdolls? six of them they are just the most wonderful cats aren't they? My youngest is still a baby really, he's 7 months old now.

I have a doppler, I think i found the heartbeat a few days before my scan but i'll keep trying every so often and see :) I'm sure it won't be too long before I can find it hopefully. I used to love listening to DS

phryn fingers crossed for you tomorrow, really hope all is well

MsJupiter · 06/11/2014 22:27

I'm so sorry to read the sad news from Ginger, notso and Superglue. I hope you all go on to have future happy pregnancies.

Phryn all the best to you; I am still having brown cm since my scan but feeling ok about it since the scan. I hope your mind can soon be put at rest.
