sunbathing I am so with you about the symptoms. I hated having morning sickness with DS but it was so reassuring. Yesterday I convinced myself I had no symptoms and got worried. The chances are that all is well. Big hugs to you.

VintageCherry26 · 05/11/2014 21:48

Thank you sunbathing :) hopefully everyone feels better soon too and we can have a lovely happy 2nd trimester thread discussing the joys of pregnancy instead of the pains!! Smile

htf2 · 05/11/2014 21:52

sunbathing mine vanished on the weekend and have stayed gone, I can't help worrying a bit although I have no reason to think anything is wrong. Hopefully not and it's a godsend they did as I was really struggling and losing weight! scan in just under two weeks and I will know....
thedet I really hope you have some support and quiet time and whatever you need :(

Thinking of you Gr33dy. Hope you can speak to your EPU/MW today.

I'm desperately trying to hold onto my own advice as when I had a wee this morning and wiped it was like the wee had gone a bit brown. I was like there had been a trace of old blood that had changed the colour. I checked carefully just inside and the cm was clear/milky as always. Really hope it's just related to placenta formation or something benign but that combined with the pulling/lighy cramping last night feels horrible. I'm willing our little bean to hold on and will call the EPU when they open. Prayers/positive thoughts much appreciated.

Today is also the worst working day of the week! An hour's drive from home, four clients coming in to see me. Won't be able to leave till 5 at the very earliest so no chance of sneaking in a scan. Can't really cancel as I've cancelled 3/4 clients from two weeks ago when I had a really rough day MS wise. It's days like this I wish I was a kept woman who could just chill at home, put my feetup and tackle the house work when I feel up to it! Sad Sad

Alisvolatpropiis · 06/11/2014 07:47

Just found you all again, will catch up later.

Only thing to report is that the multivitamins with ginger are still helping!

BingoBonkers · 06/11/2014 08:00

Phryn hope you get to talk to the epu.

I'm going to moan. I've been feeling I'll pretty much constantly for two weeks which is no time at all I know and is nothing compared to those of you suffering with HM. This morning DH has woken up with a head cold. He expects me to give him tons of sympathy when I've had very little in return and at times when I really needed him to help out he hasn't. Basically he can sod right off!

As you were.

ots · 06/11/2014 08:02

Sending positive thoughts your way phryn and gr33dy Thanks

WillowHouse · 06/11/2014 08:05

thinking of you pyrn and gr33dy - hope everything is ok.

I've got my booking in appt this morning which im looking forward to. Due to HG i've already seen the midwife and gp several times but this is the first offical appointment. Just hoping to go full term this time.

BingoBonkers · 06/11/2014 08:13

Gr33dy sorry I missed you! Thinking of you also and that it's implantation.

Gr33dyeggs · 06/11/2014 08:40

Thanks lovely ladies!
There has been nothing else since and no pain (touch wood). Had a check in the shower this morning and seems clear.
Called MW and she said they don't investigate for pink, could be implantation and placenta taking over. Wear a panty liner and monitor. Any red blood straight to A n E where you're fast tracked to gynae or EPU.
My day off today, so driving everywhere, no power walking. I'm seeing dr later anyway with 'the lumps' (which have gone again) so will probably mention it.
Big hugs Phryn, keeping everything crossed for us.

MrsKrios · 06/11/2014 08:53

Morning everyone. I need to have a moan. Symptoms are totally dragging me down. I have depression and anxiety and the extra hormones are making me feel so low. House is a complete sty.
On top of that my appetite is non existent. I'm not being sick but the thought of food is bleurgh. Surviving on dry toast, cheerios and cucumber right now.
Whinge over Grin .

Tranquilitybaby · 06/11/2014 09:18

Thinking of you phryn and gr33dy, hope you're both ok x

Tranquilitybaby · 06/11/2014 09:20

MrsK I sympathise I really do. I had a meltdown last night to DH saying I can do this, I feel so nauseaous and anxious, I can't function x

Tranquilitybaby · 06/11/2014 09:23

*can't

Phryn & Gr33dy, i have had similar to both of u. Over the weekend had brown spotting that turned quite pink / red on monday then stopped Tuesday. This was when i would normally of had a period so put it down to that. Spoke to EPAU they said not to worry unless got red / more / pain.

Last night after two clear days went to loo and had red blood, not loads but enough to scare me and passed the point where wonder if its blood or not. Rang EPAU again and i am going in for a scan this afternoon.

The midwife i spoke to was lovely and calm and reassuring and strangely enough i am not panicking at the minute. I feel completely pregnant so am hoping i get the reassurance i need later. i will pop back on and update.

According to the internet i am 9 weeks today so fingers crossed and for you all too. I know its hard not to worry.

What is implantation bleeding? I thought it happened even before missed period ?

gingerbreadmam · 06/11/2014 10:30

Thanks sunbathing, i am full of positive thoughts too even if it is petrifying. Tbh i am hopeful and a little excited to see a little bean and a flickering heartbeat, maybe then i can relax a little.

Fingers crossed.

Ooh whilst i'm on what vitamins is everyone taking? i am only taking folic acid at the moment but keep hearing about vitamin d and my app today mentions iron. should i be taking these as standard or wait until my booking in appointment and discuss with midwife (was due yesterday but got cancelled so next wednesday now).

Thank you in advance from a naieve first timer ha!

ChatEnOeuf · 06/11/2014 10:35

Fingers crossed for all those with worries.

I'm just taking folic acid and vit D, both just supermarket ones. Iron I would expect to only be prescribed if you need it.
