Detective, I have been thinking of you. Trust me when I say you have nothing to be ashamed of. Absolutely nothing. Take your time and think everything through and think it through again. You don't owe him anything and you certainly shouldn't be thinking about protecting him. He's just gutted he was discovered. ThanksThanksThanks

BingoBonkers · 05/11/2014 18:21

I've had an ELCS so different to my previous emcs. Not sure what my options are this time. Probably go straight to theatre got ELCS do not pass Go and do not collect £200. The logistics of who will look after our DC whilst I'm in hospital/having the baby is giving me nightmares. There is no one to ask or help us!

piggle100 · 05/11/2014 18:47

I saw that msg last night and couldn't believe it was someone also on this thread. It's just shocking and I'm so so sorry and hope that you take advantage of all support in rl you can get.
This prob sounds like weird advertising but if you need someone totally unbiased to chat to to talk through your feelings whenever you're ready, and get things straight in your head the samaritans are great. Just for anyone wanting some support or a listening ear, not just for suicidal people at all. Just a thought anyway.
Hope all others are well today.

Gr33dyeggs · 05/11/2014 19:02

Big hugs detective. I hope you have some support in rl - you certainly have it on here.

Weird dreams - I have them all the time! But last week I dreamt a colleague delivered my baby in a white bath with no water in in a hospital curtain cubicle. I was passed my baby which morphed from a boy to a girl and then I carried her out. I met my mum in the cafe who was pleased at the timing coz there was only 20 mins left on the car!

Tranquilitybaby · 05/11/2014 19:33

Detective it's good to hear from you. Don't make any rash decisions yet, you'll regret it forever. Let the dust settle a bit, keep him at a distance until you decide what to do.

You can do this in your own, he can help financially and with childcare for your son if needed, but you don't need him.

Hugs x

Gr33dyeggs · 05/11/2014 20:04

Knew I'd been over confident.
Some pink on wiping. Pretty sure this is how it started 6 yrs ago. Gutted to have got to week 10. Early night for me and fingers crossed, but I'm feeling it's gone.

Gr33dyeggs - dont loose hope yet, could there be any cause of the bleeding, dtd? Exercise? Heavy lifting etc... Hope u have a restful night, ring epu first thing.

Phryn · 05/11/2014 20:21

Thinking of you Gr33dy. As others have said don't lose hope. It could also be the bean bedding into the placenta. I read another thread where a MW gave that as an explanation for spotting at 10 weeks and the person who posted had a scary few days but was fine.

I totally get why you're worried though. I'm having some pulling/cramping feelings this evening and desperately hoping it's just growing stuff and not anything sinister. Hoping we both have good night's and wake up feeling much better tomorrow!

detective the samaritans were so helpful when I went through one of the darkest periods of my life. I am so sorry for you..... is your booking on Friday????

gr33dy..... could you see mw soon to help you??

WigglyBraddins · 05/11/2014 20:36

Thank you for your advice phryn and sunbathing. My 12 week scan's on 4th Dec and I'm trying to work out if I can wait that long. I'll ask if I can have a free scan when I see the mw on Friday.

Huge hugs and virtual love to those having a shitty time.

Kyz · 05/11/2014 20:42

Evening all, thankyou for the well wishes - I'm so relieved to say the scan went ok and baby is fine :) I've got alot of catching up to do, the bleeding just really worried me and put me off posting. I guess jazzy is better off keeping up with the stats - they look great btw with extra columns and whatnot :) Have updated my stats on the STATS LIST

Right, ten pages, here we go!!!

so sorry for your sad news gakay

welcome to the many newbies that have hopped on board :)

Lovely scan pic smug

so pleased all is well for you msJ

yay that's fab news mrsk

hope everything is ok boof

hope the crampings are nothing to worry about phryn

hope your scan goes well tomorrow superglue

congrats wiggly!! RE: early scans, there's a private clinic local to me, I just emailed and booked an appt with them - I used them for DS too, I had a 3d scan package and found them excellent, so when I started to bleed they were my first port of call. It cost me £59 for the reassurance scan.

det big hugs, big big huge hugs

gr33dy yesterday I had a fair few wipes/loo trips of bright red blood. Scared the living daylights out of me hence the early scan, but as you can see, my poppet is grand. I have everything crossed yours is too :)

Phew, I think i'm all caught up :) Sorry if i've missed anyone!

So glad everything's okay Kyz, and I hope the same for you Gr33dy, it is scary but apparently some bleeding is normal so don't lose hope

bubalou · 05/11/2014 20:55

Hey all,

Congrats KYZ - I just saw your scan on Facebook. I still find it weird seeing faces and realising that all the people on here are real as strange as that sounds.

I've had a bit of a better day today. Hg seems to have given me a small break. Although I am weak from lack of eating etc I went for a walk today and left the house for the first time in what must have been almost 10 days (except for hospital and doctors).

I really want to believe it's a turning point but know it's unlikely so am just trying to appreciate the very much needed break from vomiting and not being able to eat, drink or move.

However it is fireworks night. My least favourite night of the year. I hate fireworks. I know that makes me grumpy but I always have hated them. Confused

Chookford · 05/11/2014 21:01

kyz great news on the scan, really happy got you.

Phryn thinking of you too, sure everything is fine for both you and Gr33

Happy for you... Bloody auto correct

FreeWee · 05/11/2014 21:04

Detective I'm sure you have lots of RL support but feel free to NC & come back if you think it would get you away from IAmThatTwat.

Gr33dy hope you have good news tomorrow.

Still poorly. Still struggling through each day. Still telling my DD how much I love her to remind me why I'm doing this again.

pasbeaucoupdegendarme · 05/11/2014 21:07

Detective, another one who has been thinking of you today and sending lots of hugs.

Perpetual, can I ask what it is you are researching in schools? You could research how pregnant teachers stay awake after lunch in mine Wink

Massively knackered today. Am hoping to stay awake for The Apprentice...

Sunbathing, my symptoms depleted rapidly yesterday and for the first one in weeks I felt 'okay' but they were back with a vengeance today. However I'm only 8 weeks, so it could be more hopeful for you :) apparently they can come and go as often they please though Hmm

Phryn · 05/11/2014 21:29

Thanks for the reassurance and support lovely ladies. Pulling pain has mostly eased off and I'm chilling in bed.

Sunbathing I think symptoms can be little sods and wax and wane. Just to give our worry muscles an extra work out because pregnancy would be too relaxing otherwise Wink

VintageCherry26 · 05/11/2014 21:31

Oh I know what you mean! I've been wishing for days that my sickness and exhaustion would just disappear. But when it did DP and I were actually really worried and wished it would come back again!! We can't win, can we Wink but for your sake I do hope that you're feeling better because your hormones are settling and that your symptoms stay at bay!! :)
