Wineandchoccy · 07/11/2014 14:22

Sorry river I missed your message, congratulations on your news as well.

lila35 · 07/11/2014 14:34

Yay!! A few boys!! I have no leaning either way for us, but hopefully we'll find out at our 20 week scan next week..6 days and counting!!

We don't agree on any names at all, so I gave up suggesting any a few weeks ago till after our scan, hopefull it will be easier if we only have one gender to choose from!!

I am hopeful of staying in my old winter coat, I have 2 and they both still do up at the mo....we'll see!!

prevlurker123 · 07/11/2014 14:36

Thanks for the coat links...all great! I think it was the jo jo one I was remembering!!

LadyNovember · 07/11/2014 15:57

Thanks everyone, I'm wasn't bothered either way, but I'm on cloud 9 today knowing that everything's looking great! He had his hands behind his head sprawled out Grin

We think we're settled on a boy name but it could change of course!

Welcome to team blue river! X

cinnamongreyhound · 07/11/2014 15:58

Congratulations RiverRocks!

Have I missed a boy, I thought there were two not three?

Siarie · 07/11/2014 16:03

Oh god it's Friday today which means three more days until I know the gender. I'm actually more anxious about that than any scan I've had so far!

Congrats on the new boys!

BananaToast · 07/11/2014 17:04

Thanks everyone. Was talking to my mum last night and she thought girl 'because it's all on your bum, love'. Nope, turns out that's just the crisps and chocolate mum Xmas Grin

If I can sort my phone, I'll post a pic. There were 11 on the disc, but my fave is both arms up, sucking his thumb, with his legs stretched out right into my ribs.

prevlurker123 · 07/11/2014 22:16

So jealousof all you 20wk scans but glad they are bringing so much joy ! ! I still dont really feel pregnant! Look at my 12wk pic and it seems so distant!

Mel that was one of my main reasons for finding out. DH has vetoed pretty much every name I've suggested for either sex. This way, I know which section of the book to direct him to to make a list!

Lauren82000 · 08/11/2014 08:19

Hmm 2 weeks since I last had any bleeding/spotting and I appear to have a bit of beige spotting this morning. Hmm Let's see what happens.

Congratulations River and November! Yay for some boys! Grin

FizzyBubbly, I'm not sure how much blood I lost, it was a homebirth with normal sort of loss at birth I suppose, but then the bleeding just didn't stop once the midwives had left. It seemed like a lot to me! Then they scooped clots out at hospital and got it stopped. I have no idea what value they put on it as they hadn't seen me in the hours in between, it seems like a wild guess anyway however they do it. But I think it probably wasn't a bad one, I didn't need a transfusion anyway.

Lauren82000 · 08/11/2014 10:25

Misty something similar happened to us when we swapped our cars. The garage paid the finance company but didn't give it a reference so the balance wasn't settled I had to ring back and forth between the garage and the finance company and eventually they admitted they had found the payment and paid off the balance. Took a few days for me to get the extra payment back though.

I'm hoping it's just haematoma too as I hadn't felt much movement yesterday but as I was standing in line for my flu jab this morning, baby was wiggling away, so must of just been sleepy yesterday. Or I just didn't notice it. It can be really subtle sometimes. Smile

FreedomHuntress · 08/11/2014 10:33

Lauren, hope it is nothing serious. How far along are you now?

Prev, me too. 12 weeks seems so long ago, and 20 weeks seems ages away. And I barely have a bump at all.

Mel, is your first a boy or girl and do you feel like you want a similar type name, or not factoring their name in at all?

I believe the names we have chosen make a good sibset. One of the main reasons for wanting to find out this time was that we just didn't have a boy's name we loved as much as DS's name, but we have a girl's name that is perfect for her/us, so now I can relax about that!

Sorry to keep banging on about coats, but just in case others are looking to buy, do not buy the h and m coated parka. It is neither warm nor waterproof (contrary to appearances).

LadyNovember · 08/11/2014 11:43

I'm feeling so overwhelmed and stressed out..I don't know what to do with myself. Sad

My best friend has gotten himself caught Up in some pretty heavy drugs (even though he is totally not the kind of person to even contemplate trying anything?!) I don't know what to do to help him..I don't know if I can..but I know I can't stand back and watch. I forced him to tell his mum a couple of days ago, but it hasn't seemed to make much difference.

Whilst dealing with this..DP got the news yesterday that his dad has lung cancer. Sad

I'm at work today, and all I want to do is curl up in bed and erase the past week Sad

Lauren82000 · 08/11/2014 12:37

Freedom I'm 16+3 I've had bleeding and spotting on and off all through due to a haematoma, I thought it had finished draining but there might still be a bit left. It isn't a lot just a slightly off coloured discharge this time so not as bad as it could be. Glad to see others aren't getting constant movement either. I can't remember what I felt or how often last time. It's annoying that baby brain really does wreak your brain forever!

My arm isn't too sore yet I just keep catching it when I stretch for things in the car my coat bunches up in exactly the wrong place. Confused
