Mines the same Misty414, seems like my bump is all intestines that my abs can no longer control! Uterus is still clearly below my belly button.

I think if you do it now rather than just before the birth BonjourMinou, she won't associate being moved with the baby coming anyway! You have to do what suits your family anyway, perhaps you dh could mention that it's best for everyone. We'll be moving ds2 out of his room but he's getting new bunk beds with ds1 so he'll love it!!! If it's another boy we may reshuffle them later :)

Hope your nap helps Wineandchoccy.

I am actually thinking I might wear my sports bra all the time TinyTear and my boobs are so much more comfortable in it!

BonjourMinou · 18/10/2014 16:14

That's exactly what I said, cinnamon! MIL has firm views on these issues, but it's not her child, so.... tough. Grin

Lauren82000 · 18/10/2014 16:16

Well I went shopping for some maternity clothes and was told in 7 shops they no longer stock them in store just online! Had to buy fat pants instead leggings and jeggins a size bigger.

Felt naff all day a bit crampy and achy not to mention headachy, with a slight hint of indigestion. Going to pop some pills and have a lie down before I have to get ready. It's my birthday tea tonight and then we are walking the illuminations. Least it's a pretty mild day and shouldn't be too cold on sea wall.

TinyTear · 18/10/2014 16:33

I hate that. I don't like buying clothes online...

cinnamongreyhound · 18/10/2014 16:44

H&M seem to have quite good maternity stock in store if that helps.

Mine are pretty strong and if I tense it all disappears but it actually hurts around my uterus so guessing there's just not enough room anymore Misty414!

mswibble · 18/10/2014 17:54

lauren I ended up getting some maternity stuff from Dorothy Perkins but got it delivered to my local store, concession within BHS. Not ideal but better than faffing with couriers. Im really happy with it all actually, two tops and then one dress for less than £30.

LadyNovember · 18/10/2014 18:04

Happy belated birthday Lauren. I forgot to say it yesterday! Hope you have a nice evening tonight.

Got my combined results today.. 1 in 10,000. Very happy with that! I know it's not exclusive but we'd have to be pretty damn unlucky!

I don't have a bump yet (I'm behind you lot anyway!) but I'm definitely thicker around the tummy. My jeans are mostly too tight to do up comfortably. It's not hard yet though, so not a real bump, but still harder than a jellybelly, maybe squished organs?! It's harder to tell when you're a bit bigger imo. I'm a size 14. Tried to find skinny black mayernity jeans Last week and they appear to be sold out everywhere. Dunno what's with that!

Hope everyone is having a good weekend so far. CakeBrew

13+2 (allegedly Hmm)

LadyNovember I got some maternity jeans from topshop, they have black ones too. I'm a size 16 top (huge boobs Hmm) and a 14/16 below and their size 14 jeans were perfect for me so you'd maybe want to try a 12 on in case they size up big.

They are really comfy but the problem is that they do fall down a bit as there's no button or zip Blush

Ooh thanks Brixton, just checked them out and they are in stock in 12 and 14. Might wait and see if I can find any places that stock them in store first...I don't really like buying online, especially if I'm not sure on sizes like you said.

If not, I'll just order them online and hope for the best! They look lovely and black though, I like that in a pair of black jeans haha Grin

catsofa · 18/10/2014 19:58

Thanks for new thread!

I have my scan on Monday, I know I'm one of the last. So excited, but also can't quite believe there really is a baby in there. Good to hear people starting to be able to feel movement, I'm looking forward to that a lot!

DP coming to stay for a few days too which will be lovely 'cos I haven't seen him for ages. So jealous of people buying furniture, we can't even live together until I get given somewhere bigger to live, so DP is stuck hundreds of miles away and I can't plan a nursery or anything 'cos I have no idea how much space we'll have. Ours will all be desperate "wanted" ads on freecycle at the last minute I expect!

BonjourMinou · 18/10/2014 19:58

I got skinny jeans from H&M last time round and I'm still wearing them now! They're super comfy and don't fall down Grin

Got our downs results yesterday, 1 in 16,151. So sounds pretty good.

catsofa · 18/10/2014 20:00

Forgot to say I'm 12 + 3 and definitely am a weird shape that's not my normal shape... not quite A Bump but much more sticky-out than normal, and not wobbly enough to all be fat!

ChickenMe · 18/10/2014 20:18

Surprisingly Next in Bluewater didn't have any maternity wear-we checked and it said order online. What's the point of that if you can't try it on?! It was a large store, over two floors.
As I said I got stuff in H&M although I think it depends on the size of the store (New Look didn't do maternity either)

RiverRocks · 18/10/2014 20:49

I've ordered online from Dorothy Perkins, H&M and Asda. New Look has some bits instore, I bought some cheap maternity jeans, and Primark had maternity skinny jeans which I avoided as I do not have skinny legs and can't get in them normally never mind now Blush

cinnamongreyhound · 18/10/2014 20:57

I love H&M but I'm an xs in tops and a 10 (us6) so not well proportioned! Their skinny trousers/genes are wider than next though.

Is anyone else checking the newest antenatal threads to see if those who were trying with them are on them or am I just a stalker?

Lauren82000 · 18/10/2014 20:59

Well after stuffing myself on Italian everyone was saying wow your bump is huge it's grown out of no where. I just laughed coz it's pretty much all my dinner.

I can suck in almost all of it but it hurts after a second. I'd say its semi firm it doesn't wobble if you jiggle it but you can press it in about a cm. can't remember how firm my DD bump was. Now I'm really full it's stretching really badly. Rather uncomfortable.

DH is watching ex on the beach it's worse than Big brother. Has anyone else seen it. I just laugh at the tango faces on the girls and the state of the villa they live in. Clothes everywhere!

daholster · 18/10/2014 21:07

Hello all! Sorry I've been scarce... Have a huge exam in 3 weeks so v busy. Been following you all though!

Happy belated birthday Lauren! Can't remember who said their dd and dp had a cold but I feel your pain! Was up til 1am with my hand on dd... Yawn... Dh has my throat infection but he is actually being v brave about it, still cooked dinner. Hero.

Worried earlier in the week since felt heavy dragging feeling all day then thought I would get the Doppler out. I've heard the hb before but couldn't find it that evening. Decided not to be silly about it but was a bit concerned. Happily last night I found it - on the other side to where it has been all along including on the scan! Interesting.

Trousers are very tight (am in mat trousers now) but it is mostly flab and I do just look fat!

Not holding my breath for much sleep tonight... Poor coughing snotty beautiful dd Sad

14+4

lauren I caught an episode of that and mostly stared in wide eyed horror... that shit's gotta be scripted right... no real people are like.... that.... in actual day to day life surely?

The only places that sell maternity wear round here seem to be the actual baby places like mothercare, Luckily I still have lots of tops and stuff from last time. and a swimsuit from an overzealous idea that I might have a water birth...

Lauren82000 · 18/10/2014 22:37

Well I managed last time with just 1 pair of maternity leggings, 1 pair of maternity jeans and 3 tops the rest was just a size bigger leggings and long sleeved tshirts. Don't think I'll get away with that this time. It's true what they say about showing earlier with your second. I feel huge at least 18-20weeks when I have a full bladder. I only needed my maternity clothes in the last month and half of pregnancy with DD which is why I had so little.

Ex on the beach was ridiculous your right. I've ended up watching most of them and I can't believe the arguments and weird relationships they have. But I guess that's what makes it a tv program, entertainment value and all that. Just reinforces why I don't watch much tv.

cinnamongreyhound · 18/10/2014 22:46

I have nothing from last time as I was size 18 and I'm 8/10 now Sad my bra size went from 38G to 32DD so really have nothing I could wear but I only had three pairs of trousers and a few tops. Bloomin marvellous was good but expensive my mum bought me a few bits from there, good old mum!

I'm still dreaming of a water birth TheBooMonster, but they've said i can have a water birth even if I'm induced this time so I'm more optimistic!! Only used tens and g&a with ds2 so know I can do it if I was just allowed to!

TheBooMonster · 19/10/2014 00:11

cinnamon you should have one! I can live vicariously through you! It's interesting they said you could have one with an induction, are you not N&N like me? I only had gas and air last time because my pain was disproportionate to my progress and they didn't believe anything was happening :P
