Has anyone else's hormones kicked in yet. I keep shouting at dp, and bursting into tears for no reason at all.

Mslad · 01/11/2014 20:54

diddly if, or hopefully when your spotting does ease, could you not still go to the epu for a scan to put your mind at rest? How are you feeling this evening?

blessed I'm totes hormonal too, I worked from home yesterday & kept bursting into tears all day

longestlurkerever · 01/11/2014 21:29

Hand hold Diddly. I hope it eases and you get your scan soon. My epu has a walk in clinic even at weekends. I am a bit of a regular but it's a great facility.

BeanCalledPickle · 01/11/2014 22:00

Is anyone looking for a bed nest? Friend is selling one for hundred quid. She's in southport but can courier if anyone's interested?

Mslad I'm just trying to hold it together. We've been through this already once this year so its a bit too much of a de ja vu. Natural mc at 10 weeks in April. Nothings getting worse. Tummy aches. I'll get a scan in the week I'm sure. Just want everything to stay where it is.

Thanks longestlurker. Ours is only open Mon to Friday. And referral only. Least I've got that bit done today.

KatoPotato · 01/11/2014 22:35

Hope you okay mrsdiddly. How many weeks are you now? X

Fluffeh · 02/11/2014 07:47

Hope the spotting has stopped diddly.
Bean - that's a bargain! I'm quite close to southport but already have a cosleeping cot so not needed. I would have snapped it up otherwise. Cosleeping cot saved me from having to get up and down in the night after my section and as dd got bigger meant she could just wiggle over for a night time boob.
We're on countdown to our November break now - I can't wait! It's only within the uk but a break from home stuff for a week will be lovely. We go on 17th.

MrsS010814 · 02/11/2014 08:29

Hi bean, I'd be interested in the bed nest. How long has she had it for? Is it in good condition? I've got family that live not far so could pick it up for me. Thanks.

BeanCalledPickle · 02/11/2014 09:12

Mrs I have sent you a PM!

jazzyjenbo · 02/11/2014 10:10

Bean have we got a mutual friend in southport? On the aug an thread? First name in rl begins with N?

BeanCalledPickle · 02/11/2014 10:45

Yes that would be her! We are friends from the June 2013 thread:-) are you friends in RL?

jazzyjenbo · 02/11/2014 10:57

We are friends on fb, i was on the aug 14 an thread but had mmc but stayed on the group to share my good news with them.

bradders85 · 02/11/2014 18:21

Hi everyone, hope your well and had a nice weekend. I cannot believe my half term has gone so fast!

Hope the cramping and spotting have eased diddly and everything is ok.

I have another scan tomorrow after work (14+4) after a small bleed on Tuesday - hoping all is ok as it was only a bit and had nothing since but phoned up and they got me an appointment so hopefully I will feel reassured after that.
Is anyone still getting quite a bit of discharge or is it just me?!!

Sunshinesaz86 · 02/11/2014 18:23

Well my scan is booked for 1st thing tomoro and poor DP has come down with bug or food poisoning! Not great timing, it's difficult because if he's better I want him to come and so does he, but u shouldn't really go to the hospital if your not very well!! Keeping my FX I don't get it either!! Sad I have my mum on stand by!!

KittyVonCatsington · 02/11/2014 19:09

Not just you bradders! Using fairly thick panty liners still! Do let us know how you get on at your appointment tomorrow. Am sure it will be nothing and you will get a lovely extra photo from it!

Poor DH Sunshine how rotten!! You can always get a private scan for him to watch later and for tomorrow, you will love it with your mum I am sure Smile

Finally told friends and family this weekend! After previous loss, wanted to wait till scan and results were clear before telling them face to face. Was very nice! Don't have to worry about hiding what is quite a visible "bulge" right now!

14+1

Sunshinesaz86 · 02/11/2014 19:31

Thanks kitty I hope he's better in time he'll be really gutted if he has to miss it. Congrats on telling your family and friends such a great time for u! Grin

kittiker · 02/11/2014 19:37

Oh no Sunshine! Sorry to hear too of others having tough times.

Telling people was lovely over the weekend - I'm so tired tonight though. Too much travelling. Hormones a bit dodgy too - yesterday I hissed 'stop talking' at my husband when I'd got a bit too hungry Blush.

Almost all my clothes had become too tight or just plain weird looking so I've put everything that doesn't fit away and bought a bunch of new stuff. Lots of tunics and leggings in my future. Hopefully, I'll be set till Christmas now - it's a real weight off my mind.

mrsdiddlydoo · 03/11/2014 06:07

Things not good here. Devastated. Again. Waiting for epu to open. Wish you all good luck with your pregnancies and thinking of those still waiting for their first scans. Won't be long and you'll all soon be in the glorious 2nd trimester. Xx
