Good morning everyone!

Fifi- I hope you're doing okay, we are all here for you. No words I can say can be useful I'm sure but sending you love xx xx

LP20140 · 12/10/2014 09:15

My symptoms have eased off this week although Friday and Saturday I had a feeling of pressure in my womb area throughout the day. No sickness feeling for the past week. Scan on the 30th October.

KittyVonCatsington · 12/10/2014 09:48

bradders If the constipation is being a pain, I highly recommend Lactulose for some relief! Fybogel has done sod all for me but Lactulose has helped me feel the most human I have felt in 11weeks! Grin

Even better if you get it free with your maternity exemption certificate, Hee Hee!

Sunshinesaz86 · 12/10/2014 10:02

Morning ladies. Glad to hear some of your symptoms have eased a little.

I have just sneezed in bed and wow it hurt everywhere! Especially abdominal area! Anyone else had this is was frighteningly strong?

KittyVonCatsington · 12/10/2014 10:11

Yep Sunshine -oh the muscle pain on my tummy when I sneeze! I now instinctively hold my tummy and lean to the left, to try and ease it Smile

Periwinklepolarbear · 12/10/2014 10:29

Hi Ladies, I've been lurking for a while, currently 8 wks, due 22 may. Had brown spotting for past 2 weeks with 2 occasions of red bleeding. Had 2 scans and baby growing fine and seen a heartbeat! They identified a small area of subchorionic haemorrhage at my last scan and suspect thats the cause of the bleeding. Didn't seem overly concerned but i'm a little worried! Anybody got any experience of this?

2preteendramaqueens · 12/10/2014 10:44

Morning ladies just marking my seat in thenew thread Smile

Hi Peri! If you go back to Thread 2 on page 33, you'll see my exact account of what you have been through. So so pleased you too have had a positive outcome in what is a very scary time! Nearly a week later, I have just stopped spotting red but mainly my constipation straining has caused this and was told to expect this. Xx

Periwinklepolarbear · 12/10/2014 10:54

Hi Tori thanks :) , I've been getting quite a lot of pain too, didnt realise that could be part of it. They didn't say much at all about it, think we're going to have a private scan if everythings still ok by 9.5 weeks as they didn't offer me a follow up. I hope tomorrows scan goes well for you xx

bradders85 · 12/10/2014 11:04

thanks kitty I may have to try that!!

KittyVonCatsington · 12/10/2014 11:13

BTW, am compiling a Google Docs spreadsheet that we can all add to with stats more easily. Will post link when done. Might take a while!

Sunshinesaz86 · 12/10/2014 11:14

Ahh ok thanks kitty, I just totally didn't expect it I'll be more prepared from now on.

Hi peri, welcome. Sorry to hear you've had a worrying time, glad to hear your scan was all ok.

HariboBrenshnio · 12/10/2014 11:40

Marking my place, thanks for the new thread.

Thanks for the spread sheet Kitty!

I'm feeling really anxious. I', 7+4 with little to no symptoms other than no period and a positive test! My boobs hurt occasionally, i feel bloated occasionally but that's it. Trying to stay positive as nothing is suggesting anything is wrong but in my previous pregnancy i felt sick and ill from 7 weeks.

Sorry to hear of more losses, i hope your being taken care of xx

Periwinklepolarbear · 12/10/2014 11:45

Hi kitty, thanks I'll take a look :) xxx

Titsalinabumsquash · 12/10/2014 12:06

10+ 3 weeks here.

I'm still ploughing through nearly a whole loaf of bread a day to ease my sickness, I daren't step on the scales, it will only cause me to stress.

I'm trying to put strategies into place where I can because I know that by Christmas time I'm highly likely to be unable to walk due to SPD, it's bloody hard to do with a whirlwind wrecking ball 2 year old to contend with!

Haribo, pretty much snap on symptoms this time vs last time and dates! How old is/are your DC? Totally just had to have a snack after a swim and mini spa with my best friend - was lucky enough to have a night off and come down to deepest darkest Somerset to chill out and have a girly night as I haven't seen her since DD's birthday in June!

Snooky17 · 12/10/2014 13:06

Hello all
Glad to read a few others feel like they are lacking symptons too, tired but that could be because I'm having such horrid dreams I'm not sleeping well, sore boobs but had them with my 2 mmc, have a private scan on tues so guess will know for sure then. Am also worried about being weighed idown I make it as far as my booking in app, but I'm old school stones and pounds and they will weigh in kg so at least I won't know how much I weigh lol

HariboBrenshnio · 12/10/2014 13:15

speedbird I have a just turned 1 DS, what about you?
Nice to hear someone else is feeling the same! People keep reminding me that no two pregnancy's are the same, maybe it's a different gender and to just enjoy it but it's worrying.

plinkyplonks · 12/10/2014 15:28

kitty thanks for doing the spreadsheet :)

Quick questions to those over week 8 - can you feel the top of your uterus yet? Can't believe I didn't notice it before but I can feel a lump above my pubic bone. More than slightly freaked out if I'm honest. I'm coming up to 12 weeks on Thursday - wonder if anyone else is having the same experience?

Additionally, has anyone bought or planning to use a Doppler? DH bought me one but don't want to panic myself out if I can't find a heartbeat!

RE symptoms - My experience, from reading the various 'buses' over the last few months, is that if you are worried in any way that this pregnancy doesn't feel right or you have a complete lack of symptoms is to speak to your midwife. If you're still not convinced, get a scan either privately or through NHS.

During my first pregnancy I had no symptoms what so ever and a scan confirmed a healthy pregnancy.

In this pregnancy, I had bad symptoms from conception really and I somehow knew I was pregnant way before the pregnancy test confirmed it. So far two positive scans (week 7, 10) and hopefully the 12 week scan will go OK.

Some people get full pregnancy symptoms only to discover they have lost the baby, some don't get any symptoms at all the way through the pregnancy and have a healthy baby. Symptoms doesn't necessarily mean all OK and no symptoms doesn't necessarily mean bad.

There is really no clear way to know in early pregnancy that you have a viable pregnancy outside of a scan. For me, it was money well spent but I understand why people are reluctant to do it just in case something happens between then and the 12 week scan.

Hi everyone. Place marking on new thread. Thanks plinky for starting it & thanks kitty for doing stats list. I have my first scan tomorrow, 8+5 & bricking it. Good luck to everyone getting scans this week. It's terrifying. If it's bad news I may just slink off.

On another note, I have 1 pair of jeans that fit. Everything's getting so tight but don't want to buy anything until 12 week scan, don't think I'll make it that far however.

fififolle · 12/10/2014 15:41

Kitty and LP20140, thank you so much for your kind words! they really mean a lot.
I'm still looking through the messages here as I want to see how everyone's getting on and I know that I won't be far behind. I got pregnancy quickly and will do again.
I'm not sleeping, but not tired- running on a mixture of chocolate bad adrenaline!
My mum's come up today and she'll take me in tomorrow.
Great advice Plinky Flowers

fifi and BB big hugs. Hope everything goes as well as it can for you tomorrow fifi, and glad you'll have your mum with you.

kitty thanks for bravely taking on the spreadsheet!
