Thoroughly recommend baby bay. Bloody wonderful. Attaches to bed. Useful Post section to help haul yourself out of bed. Can convert to high chair afterwards.

sunshine just before 12 weeks wasmy worst for tiredness with dd. I have been falling asleep at 9:30 for weeks now though I guess last time there was more scope for lies in and naps. Quite proud of myself though. Had to work till 10:30 last night and managed to keep my eyes open. With the clocks changing too I was quite worried. Gosh, I have been starving this week too though! Dh still not back so may need pte dinner snack.

Hello all! My scan went well, I finally feel like I can actually say I'm pregnant!
I have been very superstitious about this whole thing, but I am trying to make an effort to relax now. The baby was sleeping at first so she did the measurements, then it woke up and started moving around, and turned it's back to us. It really looked like it was trying to get comfy, and away from the prodding. So real to see him/her in there. She gave us a DVD of the scan, and we showed my three-year-old. He watched very solemnly, then said 'I'm a big brother'.
Regarding co-sleepers, we had this one which I used for six months, it was great as had baby right next to me for breastfeeding, but he was on a safe mattress with no chance of quilt going on him. If you look at second picture, it shows the side of cot comes off, then it straps securely to bed so no gap. Means I could breastfeed sleepily, then roll him back in.
I am in US so got mine here, but sure you can get something similar in UK.

Glad your scan went well Giniscalling. How nice to have a DVD of it. Mine is in the morning which is why I'm not asleep. Just want it over with.

I had a private scan last night because my husband can't come to my nhs one and I'm so relieved everything is ok. It came up at 12w 3 days which is futher ahead than I thought but I'll wait to see what nhs one says. Any nub theorists want to have a go at guessing? I've got about 5 pics so I'm not sure if this is the best one for that

I'm not sure if I can properly see the nub silver but if it is that thin line I can see, then I say boy as it is at an angle!

Scan was fine. Have to ring for test results on Monday. My pictures are crap though, could be because I've had a previous section. Anyone who could decipher my nub theory would be welcome but pictures are so bad! Congrats to everyone else.

Hello everyone. I'm pretty late to this thread, but marking my place now. Had my 12 week scan yesterday at exactly the 12 week mark, making my due date May 12th. Any nub theorists want to take a guess at the gender? So glad I found this thread!

Something weird happened today in town. A travellor woman came up to me and said your going to have a daughter! And then went on to say loads of things about my partner and that hes stubborn but he loves you, she said ur a great mum but your tired and stressed I see you do alot of it single handed and that she sees weakness around my stomach area, but its not anything serious its a condition that runs in the family (me n mum both have ibs) she sed quite alot of things that just left me open mouthed lol

I also have no idea what the nub looks like, and in the past I've been useless at guessing the sex of friends and families babies so I don't think I'll make any attempts at guessing ha!
