Hi Wiggly - I am using Ovia pregnancy (great for tracking symptoms, weight, blood pressure etc) and BabyCenter (for the daily updates on baby development and what to expect)

mumxof3x · 28/10/2014 07:23

Absoloutely awful night ds3 up 8x +, then the dog barking...full of cold and a pounding head an awful cough every second. I feel fab lol.

Good luck with scans today x

Sunshinesaz86 · 28/10/2014 07:39

Good luck to everyone having scans in the next couple of days.

Dirty your feeling rubbish Lina and mumof3 hope your feeling brighter soon!

Wiggly I'm also using ovia I really like it, it's handy having updates and info on food u can and can't eat etc.

I've told my regional manager in work, not telling my other colleagues until scan date next mon. Need to get a wriggle on and tell me half brother at some point this weekend can't exactly text him the news!

Turquoisetamborine · 28/10/2014 07:47

Sorry Lina and mumof3. Hope things get better soon.

I'm using Pregnancy+ app too and I really like it, especially the 3d scan bit, so cute! I was on another app but it had a forum and it was so bitchy I decided to delete it. Can't be arsed with that when we are all happy to be pregnant. I'd rather have no forum.

I've told everyone at work now even though my scan isn't until tomorrow.
I'm showing so much I couldn't have hidden it with it being my second.

TheWildOnes · 28/10/2014 07:59

Its lovely seeing all the scans!

My scan isnt until 11th November, I had an early scan last week after a bit of bleeding and all was fine, however, my symptoms seem to have lessened a lot, i feel slightly nauseus sometimes but my boobs dont hurt anymore at all so ive been up all night worrying about mmc. I really wish i could relax.

Turquoisetamborine · 28/10/2014 09:10

Do I go to my 12 week scan with a full bladder and a urine sample? I can't remember what they told me!

Titsalinabumsquash · 28/10/2014 09:13

No sample but a comfortably full bladder Smile

KittyVonCatsington · 28/10/2014 09:14

I didn't really Turquoise go with a full bladder and they didn't ask for a urine sample at my 12 week scan. Just had the scan straight away and bloods taken by a nurse after. Took about half an hour in total.

piglet81 · 28/10/2014 09:17

I had such a ridiculously full bladder (thought it should be full-ish and then had quite a long wait) that the sonographer sent me off to the loo when she 'd done the NT measurement as she could tell i was uncomfortable! Blush

Can't get piccy to upload from my phone, boo. Will try again. Hope everyone has a good day.

Haily111 · 28/10/2014 10:01

Has anyone felt any form of movement? My due date is now 01/05 so know i am slightly further than some others x

Titsalinabumsquash · 28/10/2014 10:04

I can feel flutters and very gentle nudges when I'm very still, it's my 4th though and DS3 is only 2 so I don't have a huge gap, I'be done this enough time to know the difference between a flutter and wind GrinBlush

Titsalinabumsquash · 28/10/2014 10:05

When I went for my 12 week scan they asked if I could go and have a '5 second wee' to partially empty my bladder because the little seahorse was doing kungfu in there Grin

mumxof3x · 28/10/2014 10:27

Am only 11+2 and felt the first flutter yesterday, but also my 4th in 5years n ds3 is 15months today. But I started to feel ds2&3 earlier aswell. Ds1 was about 16weeks x

Haily111 · 28/10/2014 11:06

With my ds (16months) i didnt feel any movement til over 20 weeks. My first dd (8 years) i cant remember lol. I swear i keep feeling flutters tho x

plinkyplonks · 28/10/2014 12:51

Lina & mumof3 - Hope you both feel better soon x

piglet haha! My sonographer made me do that too - quite difficult when my pelvic floor muscles have already gone bye bye!

piglet and plinky I also had to go for a wee mid scan as the sonographer commented on my full bladder! ha! I was bursting!!
I am just having to revive my DP after browsing at mothercare and the price of prams!!! Smile

piglet81 · 28/10/2014 13:44

Eek, haven't started looking at that sort of thing - DH will definitely freak out! Fortunately SIL has already very kindly offered us a lot of their baby stuff so hopefully we will save some money that way.

bradders85 · 28/10/2014 14:09

we went out looking at snuzpods as I have seen one on ebay and wanted to see one in the flesh to see if I like it (which I don't think I do now!) and ended up in prams......so confusing!!

Titsalinabumsquash · 28/10/2014 14:39

I was just about to start a thread about snuzpods vs troll cribs/bed nests. I'm confused about what would be best. This will 100% be our last so I don't want to spend ££££ but I also want baby next to the bed.

I'm going to get a double pushchair second hand for ds3 and baby then invest in a decent pushchair when DS3 can reliably use a buggy board and walk without legging it every few seconds. I'm stupidly still really apprehensive about getting anything though just incase something goes wrong. Sad

bradders85 · 28/10/2014 14:58

I want baby next to me tits I was interested in the snuzpod and might still be yet but today I saw one in the shop and thought it was quite heavy and large to move about as it says the top bit comes off so you can have it downstairs. If we did end up with one I think we would just keep it upstairs and have something else for them to nap in downstairs, I have read a few good reviews about them too x

jazzyjenbo · 28/10/2014 15:15

Wiggly - how fab that you already know what your having! I love guessing from scans and would of looked at yours for nub and face. I can't recall but a couple were just profile pictures. I'm usually pretty accurate (u'll prob think haha your wrong this timeWink) I find girls have smaller more turned up noses (button nose) where as boys have more defined skull/forehead... Nub straight line for girl angled for boy.

Good luck with this weeks scans.. Still no date for mine.

KittyVonCatsington · 28/10/2014 15:46

piglet Glad to hear your scan went well Grin

I love the name snuzpod !!!

Don't think I have felt movement. Some 'bubbles' but most likely gas due to constipation!

Also got my Downs screening results through today-negative screening! Woo hoo!

I too will be very lucky with already lots of donations from sister and sisters-in-law so don't think I will need much really-new mattresses and a car seat pretty much! My sister is giving me her pram as she doesn't need it:a Stokke Xplory. I truly am hugely lucky and grateful! I will live vicariously through all your shopping trips instead Halloween Grin

13+3

piglet81 · 28/10/2014 18:06

Thank you kitty! And congrats on your good screening results, that's brilliant news.

Jazzy I hope you get a date for your scan soon.

DP's sister had a baby in may and they've said there not having anymore so were hoping we may inherit some bits from them! FX anyhow as all the stuff they've got is lovely and good quality so we will be very fortunate there.

Which weeks has been the biggest struggle tiredness wise for everyone?....I'm 11+3 today and fell asleep on sofa at 8.50 last night and completely shattered again today. I know it's part of the first trimester and also constantly working long weeks and long hrs won't be helping!
