Great news tits and wild! Such lovely news!

Plinky we were also woken up with internal doors blowing open (we did have a window open) but it's awful here now! Hopefully it'll go as quickly as it came.

Looking forward to seeing everyone's scan pics over the coming weeks, mines on the 3rd nov so just under two weeks to wait! Feels like a life time away I'll be 12+2 by then!

Afternoon, ooh I wanna join the titled uterus club too, I don't find I need the loo more but digestive "issues" bloating etc definately also lower back pain too. Had my booking in app today which I never got to have with my prev 2 pregnancies so feel like it's a major step, BMI sneaked in at 29 yay, considered low risk but consultant led care cos I'm now (whispers) 40 years young, Another scan on Thursday at 10+1 hopefully, as this will put me past the weeks of my last MMC I can relax (some at least)

Pictures attached, they're not amazing as some I've seen but this little one was doing cartwheels and was determined to wave at us the whole time.

All measurements are as normal and I've out on 3lbs less than I thought I had which is a nice extra.

I have all ready told DP that we are not using a Starwars themed name for this baby even if it is delivered on it's due date, he's such a geek!

Next scan is 17th December so we can find out if it's a girl or a boy before Christmas. I'm tempted to keep them all waiting to find out though so I don't have to spend Chrsitmas day with people trying to considerate a boy or celebrate a girl with talks of pink and frills!

Hey everyone... I'm ready to join you all! Tentatively announced my Bfp a few weeks ago then got scared and had to take a bit of a mn break but 12 week scan this morning and feeling a bit more reassured.

Having a bit of a poo day thought the sickness had settled down over the last few days but it's back.

We have some pretty bad wind here right now (the weather, not my bottom!) Glad school pick up is done and I can keep warm at home til the morning.
I feel so sick but all I want to eat is chocolate and crisps (i never usually like crisps).

Thewildones - I know how you feel, I normally can not stand Mcdonalds but I would do anything to have one of their cheeseburgers right now!

My Bil works at McDonald's so I get staff discount, it can be quite dangerous, their chips in bbq sauce was my ultimate craving when I was pregnant with DS3.

Tits- I'd be the side of a house already if I had a discount!!

I've actually messaged DP to see if he'll pick me something up on his way home. Hope he's not had a rubbish day and takes pity on me!

Midwife saga continued - after spending all morning on the phone and finding out I can't attend my scan without being booked in I finally have a booking appointment.
It isn't perfect as its with the midwife who was rude to me last time when I was at the height of my disordered eating. But I will try to stay calm and get booked in so I can have my scan.
My gp rang me at 4.30 just as dd dived off the sofa on to her head to confirm he's made me an appointment with her. But as I was comforting dd I didn't get chance to ask why her.
It's on Thursday afternoon so hopefully that'll be enough time for the blood results to be back for next weeks scan.
The midwife I'm seeing won't be the one I have for the whole pregnancy thank god but I still don't have a long term mw yet. At least I can have my scan now :).

Fluffeh - That must be a huge relief to be getting somewhere even if it's with an evil midwife! Good luck for your scan! Is DD okay?

Glad you can have your scan Fluffeh, hopefully you get a nice midwife for the duration.

I have been looking at the nub/skull theory for gender prediction, I know it's all bollocks but I figured it would be a bit of fun to see if it's right, however.

The nub says girl but the skull shape (which is different in both pictures) says boy!

What's the nub theory?

Kitty, it's something to do with the angle of the genital nub indicating girl or boy before there's much to see. Not very knowledgeable myself

On my actual printed out pictures one in particular is really clear on the "nub" it's dead straight. I don't have DS3's scan pictures to hand to compare though.

piglet - I'm really anxious too as all my symptoms seem to have gone. I have a little bump which is keeping me going till Monday. only 6 days to go. what time is your appointment?

Found my sea bands in a drawer today and I've managed to eat 3 meals and not felt as sick as normal. Probably placebo effect but I'm happy to go with it

I'm going to the GP on Friday to get a referral to the one-to-one midwives that haribo mentioned upthread. I'm hoping he doesn't have an objection because the service sounds wonderful.
