That's great news justyouwait. Really pleased you've got a healthy wriggly bean. Count down now to the next milestone! Grin

Try to relax tits I know it's hard but hopefully tomoro your mind will be put at ease. My bloating has finally gone down today and I look slimmer today than since I first found out and I'm now thinking is that normal but think I'm just being paranoid. Happens to us all. Lots of love for tomoro x

plinkyplonks · 20/10/2014 12:53

Congratulations just really glad to hear it went well :) EDD is now the same as mine too :D

tits - try not to worry, I felt exactly the same way as you! In the end hubby bought me a doppler so I could get some reassurance. I used one from 10 weeks onwards and was able to pick a hb without issue. Best of luck x

lumpy hope you get your scan date soon! x

To all those feeling miserable and shattered, definitely feel your pain. Been all cuddled up in my blankie and not wanting to leave!

Congratulations Just - great news!

Tits fingers crossed for tomorrow, I know exactly how you feel. nothing will make you feel better until after the scan, but hopefully the time will pass quickly till tomorrow. Try find something good to read, or watch on tv to take your mind off things. xx

mumxof3x · 20/10/2014 13:26

Congrats just, lots of babies brought forward to april :)

Tits good luck tommorow im sure everything is just fine xx

Ive fettled the house n pulled my back in the process grrr

Titsalinabumsquash · 20/10/2014 13:32

Thanks, I have an appointment with my counsellor before my scan tomorrow I think I'll ask him if we can tackle some of my anxiety issues.

Mslad · 20/10/2014 13:55

Perhaps one of our 'babies brought forward to April' members is the Duchess.....?

CostaLotta · 20/10/2014 14:20

Tits good luck for tomorrow... I'm sure the vomiting is a sign of a healthy baby in there!

Just got my letter through with scan date of 4th November, anyone else on that day? Think I'm only going to be 10+ weeks though. And I've got absolutely no childcare for DS that day so need to decide what to do about that....

Mslad · 20/10/2014 14:52

I'm the 4th November Costa !! we can hold hands Smile I'm counting the days......

mumxof3x · 20/10/2014 15:18

Im 4th too :) I should be 12+2 xx

GetTheRedOut · 20/10/2014 15:28

Got my scan on Wednesday. Had no bleeding or anything and DP tells me not to worry, but I can't help it. Have had 2 solid months of hyperemesis gravidarum so really really worrying for my bean. I don't think its been getting enough nutrition :(

speedbird17 · 20/10/2014 15:34

Had a call from hospital and scan is tomorrow!! They like to scan as close to 12w by LMP as they can (even though I am certain I am about 3 weeks behind due to cycles!) so happy to go in and see how far I am, and if I am less than 10+2 I will be brought back for Nuchal Translucency later on!

Exciting having a first scan again!!

lumpyparcel · 20/10/2014 15:37

Gettheredout - I feel the same way as you. I feel so guilty that I haven't been able to eat/drink properly and that I will have harmed my baby. :(

It's a scary time isn't it!

Speedbird - :D good luck for tomorrow!!

plinkyplonks · 20/10/2014 15:45

GetTheRedOut I was told by the person doing my scan that beanies are SUPER resilient. If things have gone wrong, likelihood is that you did NOTHING to cause it. Don't worry about it. Everyone gets worried about scans - it's normal. Nothing is going to reassure you though until you see that beanie and heartbeat though. Good luck with your scan :)

speedbird17 Best of luck tomorrow!

I'm on 9th when I should be nearly 13w. Good luck to those tomorrow.

mumxof3x · 20/10/2014 16:18

Good luck speedbird how exciting xx

speedbird17 · 20/10/2014 16:48

Thanks all!

Re: not eating and drinking properly - iirc they take all the goodness they need from our existing stores and get everything that way which is why it is better to eat well so we keep our own stores up, but not absolutely required!

KittyVonCatsington · 20/10/2014 16:49

Hurrah just Halloween Grin I was just thinking the same thing Mslad - seems the Duchess has an April due date after all!

Good luck with the scan speedbird!

SmileyScooby · 20/10/2014 19:14

Good luck Kitty I had that 2 weeks ago and my back was in agony come the end of the evening and was busting for the loo as had been sipping water throughout the whole evening as voice was going and there was no let up in parents and kids coming in the room ahhhh. Hope you have a better evening!!

bradders85 · 20/10/2014 20:02

Hi everyone, hope tonight goes ok Kitty - they are long days!

I have just got back from my first Zumba class since I was about 6 weeks, the class stopped all together but she did tonight as a charity fundraiser! It's so hard doing all the lighter versions of moves when your used to jumping around! Was good fun though.....and she might be bringing the classes back so I hope so! :)

plinkyplonks · 20/10/2014 20:04

Tori Men!!! Grrr!!!

Kitty Good luck tonight!

Jenni - just ordered my first box from Sassy bloom using the MSE offer. Had to be a bit optimistic on my due dates to sign up. Looking forward to the first box!

Good luck with all of the scans coming up over the next couple of weeks.

From me - i'm absolutely freezing tonight, heating is on and i'm still cold, just climbed into a hot bath to warm me through! Feeling abit queasy aswell this evening. Phoned epu regarding spotting from fri/sat (post dtdConfused) they weren't concerned. I have my first mw appointment/booking tomorrow. Luckily where i am i will see the same community midwife throughout my pregnancy and then she will do the home visits after baby is born. Only slight difference is i like to use a hospital which is further away so considered out of area so i will hav appointments with her for community care but hospital appointments for bloods.

Costa - where have u decided to book into with all the closures in our area?

So nice to hear of positive scans today aswell.

WigglyWigglyWoo · 20/10/2014 20:50

I'm now 11 weeks +5 and symptoms have suddenly changed-
Is this normal?! My breasts were very tender and grew a lot up until this week. Now they aren't tender at all. My skin was spotty- all of a sudden it is clearer than its been for a long time- bonus!

I had a scan at 10 weeks with the harmony test and the sonography said I have a retroverted uterus. I thought that might partly explain my bowel problems- constipation and general bloated feeling. I've been incredibly flatulant- not very sociable! This week the gas is better but I've noticed I've needed to wee more frequently. I feel as though my bladder full but when I go it's about a quarter the normal volume. Could my uterus have flipped forwards into a more forwards position maybe?

Not sure what I want you all to say, maybe just after a bit of reassurance and to see if anyone else is experiencing the same!

12 week scan on Thursday- exciting!!
