Lovely names on your short list. I'm not English so it's a struggle to find names that both DH & I like. Luckily I had that dream so my DD to be name is already chosen for us Smile

Congratulations Babie! I hope that your bleeding stops. For what it's worth I bled when pregnant with my DS and he was absolutely fine. It was a worrying time especially as they couldn't find a cause for my bleeding. Just have plenty of rest.

Will this be your first baby?

LondonSuperTrooper · 26/10/2014 15:27

And Tiny happy birthday to your DH. I hope you'll have plenty of Cake Smile

London I would be furious if the grandparents were disappointed in the sex. How odd when the have plenty of GS.

Babies sorry about the bleeding its so worrying when it happens even when they tell you how common it is to bleed. Its the last thing we need during a stressful pregnancy.
Congratulations on a girl. Smile

Shetland · 26/10/2014 19:39

Congrats on your girl babie
I bled in my second pregnancy with no problems but it's just one if those things that you could really do without when you're already worried enough.

babie congratulations on your baby girl, hopefully the bleeding has stopped now and you can relax (she says wryly, I havent stopped worrying for 19 loooonggggg weeks)

Toucanet · 26/10/2014 23:49

babie hope you could see all bits clearly today! My full Harmony report including the gender which was initially omitted turned up in the post - we asked for that to be checked but not told for now, we'll see if we can resist opening it for the next 6 months!

Tiny hope your DH had a good birthday. We are 20-week scan buddies at 24th Nov :) Though my appointment came for Sunday 23rd, had to check - good job their typo was 23rd not 25th or I might have missed it! Got to get there though haven't we. I've an antenatal/consultant appointment first thing tomorrow, not sure what to expect but hope they check heartbeat as really I've no idea if still pg or not or going to find it's a 3rd mmc.

15 weeks?

Toucanet · 26/10/2014 23:58

Babie think I missed a page of messages - congratulations on the girl! Glad the bleeding seems to have stopped. Hope things settle down for you now.

I have my GTT tomorrow morning...

I somehow suspect I may already have GD... do I give cake a last hurrah today?

Girls are great but i am biased Grin

OP posts:
LittleBairn · 27/10/2014 10:15

Tiny I'd eat the cake.... Grin

I'm starting to wonder if I will ever see a midwife, haven't seen one since 8 week booking in appointment and haven't received any appointments.
I don't mind I find them mostly a waste of time and I can always get a same day appointment at my GPs. So I can always ask them to do the GTT test.

TinyTear · 27/10/2014 10:21

I have the 16w midwife appointment on wednesday

Normally the GTT is at 28w, but because I had it in my previous successful pregnancy they are sending me at 16w too...

OP posts:
LittleBairn · 27/10/2014 10:25

Tiny I thought it was later.
I will still request it early I'm high risk due to weight plus I know I was tested once hospitalised in both pregnancies it was negative but may as well be done early if it can be done.

LondonSuperTrooper · 27/10/2014 10:42

Tiny have some Cake and enjoy it :)

Little I have my GTT on Thursday. Midwife requesting an early GTT due to my high BMI.

Cabin fever has set in. Sad I was going to pop my head out the back door for a few minutes to feel the breeze but I can't find my keys. I've resorted to poking my nose out the window. Blush I can't undo the child saftey locks.

LIG1979 · 27/10/2014 17:40

difficult tiny - I would say enjoy it whilst you can but that cake today will mean it is more likely you will test +ve for gd. but if you think you have it anyway....enjoy!!

Little - how tough....but resting is definitely the way forward.

went to look at local nurseries today. I really hate planning that far in advance but if I want specific days I need to sort it in advance. The one I looked at was really nice (probably nicer than dds current one).

TinyTear · 27/10/2014 17:59

Had one eclair Smile

little do you have a lounger in the garden where you can bedrest outside?

Having shared my bump on the other april thread its only fair I share here to Wink I am being told I'm huge already, what do you think?

I say have the cake tiny, you'll be sad if you dont and then can't have any at all as you will know you shouldn't.

Its been a beaut of a day where I am today, did you manage to find your keys little??
