Fingers crossed binky. Glad the sweep wasn't too unbearable. That makes me feel more relaxed.

Still getting sickness -ugh. Going to watch DH eat a curry tonight, can't stomach stuff other than plain foods unfortunately.

Missus2ndwife · 17/10/2014 20:23

Thanks everyone for the good luck wishes.

So far we spent 4hrs waiting for a doctor, then some monitoring, then a pessary and then some more monitoring. Dull. Dull. Dull.

I can't leave as I'm considered high risk now.

Hubbie has just gone home and I feel very lonely now. Listening to another soon to be mommy crying (complications) in the next cubicle

Will try get some rest and hope this pessary works.

Lily - I have also been feeling a little sicky this week. Hope you feel better soon xx

Lily31 · 17/10/2014 20:28

Aww missus keeping everything crossed for you.

Hope you manage some rest. Have you got ear plugs or an iPod to listen to? X

Pregnantagain7 · 17/10/2014 21:27

Hi all just thought I'd pop a head in :)

Good luck missus I've been down the induction route so know how long and boring it can be! Fingers crossed for you that it won't be too long

Things going well in the house of four children!

Won't be too long now and we will all be over on post natal celebrating our little bundles of joy Grin

FatFlashingLazer · 17/10/2014 21:41

missus I hope you're night in hospital isn't too bad and you get some sleep.

It's getting very quiet over on this side now. Can't wait to be able to join in the post natal chat.

Wishing all my fellow still pregnant people a restful night!

binkybunny · 17/10/2014 21:51

missus hope you're induction goes well and you manage to get some rest tonight x

Lulu298 · 17/10/2014 22:08

Hope you can get some rest and that the induction goes smoothly missus

SummerDreams13 · 17/10/2014 22:14

Good luck missus!

Binky, sounds like I'm following in your footsteps - also had sweep today which was uncomfortable rather than painful and had first bit of show afterwards which felt like a good step forward. 2nd sweep booked for Monday and induction booked for Weds - fx for both of us we don't need it Smile

pusscous · 18/10/2014 03:22

Missus hope your night was ok. Good luck for the rest of the induction, hope it's productive and not to drawn out.

Binky hope this is it for you fx

pusscous · 18/10/2014 03:26

Hoping my time has come. Sat in bath easing cramps and back ache. Thursday afternoon realised that the pain/ cramps/ back ache had been rhythmic for the last 15 hours. Every 45 min to Friday midday at 25 min intervals. Spent the afternoon seriously cleaning and didn't notice as much, but have have show- blood trace since am. Hope it picks up again. Mind last night was full of nesting things not done yet.

binkybunny · 18/10/2014 03:49

Hey pusscuss have been up for 2 hours with contractions every 10- 15 minutes, although still really irregular. Had agonising back ache and period cramps all evening.

Hoping this is it for both of us and that I get to avoid induction!

Sat bouncing on my ball trying to keep them going...

binkybunny · 18/10/2014 04:31

humph, off back to bed seem to be too irregular and tailing off... Oh well Sad

binkybunny · 18/10/2014 05:09

No, back up and whole house is awake, contractions were agony laid down. Averaging about 8-9 minutes... different type of pain to bh, didn't really expect it to feel like this!

BingoBango85 · 18/10/2014 05:13

Hope you're ok binky. Up also.....with wind! Lol. Keep bouncing

Grannyapple · 18/10/2014 07:05

Ooh good luck binky & pusscous.

I need some labour vibes as sis goes home tomorrow...really wanted her to be here when bubba arrives Sad. I swear I thought I felt a bit if cramping there & lots if movement from baby but as soon as the other two are awake & wander into our room, baby goes all quiet...taste of things to come I expect! Grin

We have a v posh Michelin starred lunch booked today as it's our wedding anniversary on Tuesday & taking advantage of sis being down to babysit as hoping baby will be here by bloody Tuesday! I'm going to have a glass of fabulously expensive wine in the hope that my salivating over it will encourage baby to come meaning I miss out on it....reverse psychology & all that Grin. Plus it's 14 yrs we're celebrating...think I deserve that posh glass if wine!

Getting quiet here...how many of us are left?!

Lulu298 · 18/10/2014 07:51

Still here! Still in agony at night with painful knees and hips. Sad

Good luck binky and pusscous! And hope you have a lovely lunch grannyapple Grin

weeonion · 18/10/2014 08:24

Morning all. Any news binky and puss???

FatFlashingLazer · 18/10/2014 08:48

I'm still here too. Not many of us left now I don't think

Shirehobbit · 18/10/2014 09:19

I'm here, too.
I seem to alternate good/bad days - I'm struggling most with food. I don't think I should eat at all, anymore, in the evening, as I haven't been able to lie down to sleep since Tuesday without bile coming up Sad
and it's really hard to sleep upright!!

OP posts:
DGLB · 18/10/2014 09:19

I'm still here 2 days until due date so could be another 14 days until baby comes I'm fed up already Sad

FatFlashingLazer · 18/10/2014 09:49

DGLB it's a depressing thought isn't it!...I'm not due till Thursday!

Shire I've discovered that muesli with milk which was previously a safe breakfast is now a complete no go on the acid indigestion front. I also keep making the mistake of eating dinner too late and then that makes me even more uncomfortable at night.

Oh the joys of pregnancy!!

kittyvet · 18/10/2014 10:43

Good luck Binky and pusscous! I am hoping to join you as having more cramps this morning and now have has a show! Fingers crossed this baby is making an exit plan!
Have a great lunch Granny- very jealous!

STIGZ · 18/10/2014 10:52

I am feeling so happy not to be pregnant anymore, sitting drinking a strong coffee without feeling guilty, eating crap without feeling guilty & having horrendous heartburn, so happy i am getting comfy in bed again as i have no sciatic pain or pgp !! Had 2 large glasses of wine last night.... Bloody heaven !! And im really enjoying being a mummy the second time around, i am so much more relaxed and not so frantic about everything, think its having a great effect on baby as she is the most content wee thing ever, if she was my first i would have had four by now!! DP is really enjoying it this time aswell, but keeping in mind i might feel diffrent when dp goes back to workHmm i really dont know how i am going to get out of the house for 8.30am with two kids??? Probably 5 am start for me? Shock im trying to be positive to keep stress levels down and thinking that each day that passes is a day that i'll never back with my children, so im trying to enjoy just living in the momment for a change and not stressing so much about the mess of my house etc which i done last timeConfused.. not good as "cleaning the house when children are growing, is like shovling snow when its still snowing" Grin

STIGZ · 18/10/2014 10:55

So sorry posted this in the wrong thread... Blush

FatFlashingLazer · 18/10/2014 11:23

Haha Stigz thanks for rubbing it in!! Only joking, enjoy every minute!
