Oh god I forgot about the incident this morning Confused maybe I blocked it out? I threw up in Sainsburys car park but the bag had holes in it, so I abandoned it and just threw up on the floor. I placed tissues over the small puddle, but there was no bin anywhere. I had to abandon everything and felt like such a minger :( then had to explain to aforementioned nine year old that I wasn't poorly, it was just a pregnancy thing. Oh god this week must be the peak, surely?

I am secretly so impressed that many of you are part of the unpopular Anal Fissure Club. It's like shitting razor blades wondering which one will actually split your arsehole in two. Lovely.

mrsHawk1ns · 11/10/2014 21:40

Hi, I'm quite a newbie round the Mumsnet way - mostly reading often too scared to actually post! Am I allowed to join in here? I am due 02/12/14 with DS2 (DS1 is currently 16mo) :-)

Peaceloveandbiscuits · 11/10/2014 21:42

What a time to join MrsH Grin excuse the bum talk. Or join in!

OP posts:
mrsHawk1ns · 11/10/2014 21:50

Oh I can do bum talk! I have a lovely bunch of "grapes" that never fully disappeared after DS1 and they recently worried me so much that NHS111 suggested I go to A&E where I had to stick my bot in the air for the triage nurse who my DH knew! So cringey Blush

BigHairyLeggedSpider · 11/10/2014 22:11

Welcome MsHawkins! You'll fit right in here! Grin

mrsHawk1ns · 12/10/2014 09:12

Waves hello

CatFaceCrayola · 12/10/2014 11:31

32 weeks today,! Why do the even number weeks seem bigger milestones than the odd?

Feeling hungover, without the nice boozey bit beforehand. Must drink more water

Peaceloveandbiscuits · 12/10/2014 12:00

I agree Catface! I'm "only" 29+1 but I think 30 will feel like a huge milestone.

OP posts:
mrsHawk1ns · 12/10/2014 12:33

32+5 here and I agree that the evens feel nicer than the odds somehow! 30 felt like a massive milestone but now I think I'm in a bit of denial about how fast the weeks are rolling by...

Going away just me & DS with my M&D in the Oct half term, DH has to work so isn't coming and we will be over 4 hours away and until today it totally hasn't clicked that I'll only be 4 weeks off my due date and am now feeling a tad silly/anxious/worried for having booked the mini break without even thinking!

BigHairyLeggedSpider · 12/10/2014 12:41

32 weeks. 6 weeks 1 day till I-day....Shock

mrsHawk1ns · 12/10/2014 14:13

Are u being induced Big I'm hoping to discuss that option with my midwife at 34 week appt, but don't actually have a valid medical reason so already know what the answer will be Sad

PourquoiTuGachesTaVie · 12/10/2014 14:46

mrshawk1ns if you don't have a medical need to be induced, could I ask why you want to discuss it? I'd rather avoid being induced if at all possible (ds was a few days early so it never came up anyway, fingers crossed this time round is the same).

Peaceloveandbiscuits · 12/10/2014 15:53

Gah I slid down the last few stairs and landed on my lower back. Did a kick count and plenty of movement. I reckon baby just had a rude awakening Shock
Owies though.

BigHairyLeggedSpider · 12/10/2014 16:19

God Peace! Glad you ok! Bruised arse?

Yes being induced as have GD with medication. Dont want to be. Wanted her to come when she was ready. Its odd knowing the date labour will start. I am limited as to the type of birth I can have too. Not allowed water birth, which is what I wanted. :(

espa · 12/10/2014 16:30

mrsH I'm the same - don't want to go overdue but not sure how midwife will see it. My only reason is my niece (DB) was stillborn, although she was 36 weeks. My SIL knows a number of people through SANDS who had stillbirths when overdue and I think the stress both me and my family would be under if it got to 42 weeks would be unreal. Obviously I'd prefer for baby to come on it's own but want to at least raise it.

Peaceloveandbiscuits · 12/10/2014 17:03

Am in bed with a hot water bottle on my back. Arse didn't need any encouragement to hurt anyway, but "I fell down the stairs" does at least sound better than "bunch of grapes" Hmm

My mother is coming to visit on Tuesday so we're trying to organise the house - every piece of clothing we owned was in a heap in the walk in wardrobe conservatory so I've folded it all and put it away. Feel like I've accomplished something at least!

Peaceloveandbiscuits · 12/10/2014 17:03

FYI Moses basket makes a great washing basket.

OP posts:
mrsHawk1ns · 12/10/2014 18:33

For completely pathetic reasons now I've heard espa and Big's so perhaps I should have a rethink Sad was induced 2 weeks early with DS1 (spent most of PG in hosp with severe HG) and didn't find it especially painful or long thankfully. oh gosh Hope you're ok Peace and have an OH good enough to be waiting on u!

mrsHawk1ns · 12/10/2014 18:35

Ha our moses basket is too being used to store all of Bumpkin's clothes because we haven't built the wardrobe yet!

mrsHawk1ns · 12/10/2014 18:38

Oh and I didn't mean I want to be induced early or anything, but more on or around my due date and not have to go up to 2 weeks overdue :-/

Peaceloveandbiscuits · 12/10/2014 18:45

My Moses basket is also storing all the baby stuff when it's not being a washing basket!

I'm fine, really. I've vacuumed all the downstairs so DH can do the rest of the housework.

I am starving but only had lunch at 3ish Confused

OP posts:
mrsHawk1ns · 12/10/2014 18:52

Hope he does a better job than my DH, I only had to go round and do it all again after him didn't i...!

Fraggle31 · 12/10/2014 18:53

Hello ladies......but late to the party but may I join the thread?! Currently 29 weeks today with baby number 1 :) spent the first 25 weeks with the delights of hyperemesis so only really started to feel abit more in control and organised for the last month!

My Moses basket is currently a store for various shapes and sizes of pillows which I use throughout the night lol

Peaceloveandbiscuits · 12/10/2014 18:53

Ach all there is to do is hang up some clothes and wash up Hmm I won't hold my breath.
