This is actually real isn't it? I think I'll still be surprised when they hand me over a baby.

The fact that I've had no pain at all since being off work has made me consider taking next week off as well.

Lucy90 · 09/10/2014 20:38

Had another day of aches and pains :( please the next 10 weeks go quick!!

LotsaTuddles · 09/10/2014 21:05

Took DS for his 13month jabs today and the nurse asked how far gone I am so I said 29 weeks tomorrow and she asked if I'd had my flu and whooping cough jabs (no) and she bloody did them there and then.

Ouchie, my arms ache. Really hope DS sleeps well tonight, DH away so I'll have to sleep in his bed if he's not alright and he always sleeps on my bloody arm!

BigHairyLeggedSpider · 10/10/2014 06:15

bloody men. bloody alarms. Angry Angry Angry Angry Angry Angry

Peaceloveandbiscuits · 10/10/2014 09:21

Lotsa my flu arm is all hot and red and swollen, but it's actually easier to sleep on than my whooping cough arm, which is just bruised. I'd be fascinated to know what yours come out like Grin

I saw the midwife yesterday for the 30wk appointment. The usual one was off work. It was a bit disappointing because I never see the same doctor twice, so it's good to have a bit of consistency somewhere. She told me the bump had grown as much as it should have (1cm/week), but was in the 'normal' range. Now I'm concerned I'm not eating enough because my appetite hasn't been good recently. Has anyone else lost their appetite during pregnancy? I couldn't stop eating for the first few months.

kusmile · 10/10/2014 13:25

Also wanted to ask... how do I add my info to the stats page?

Peaceloveandbiscuits · 10/10/2014 13:38

Kusmile open the stats page and click on the "add" tab at the top of the first column.

If your midwife says your bump is growing normally and you're not hungry, I wouldn't worry. Your stomach probably doesn't have much room anymore so you don't feel as hungry. Just eat when you're hungry and stop when you're full!

kusmile · 10/10/2014 14:32

Thanks, I've added my info.

Thanks for the reassurance about the eating... I've always had a tendency to lose my appetite to the point I lose weight when feeling a bit gloomy, but I don't want to be losing any weight now! But you're right, it's probably just lack of space for my stomach Smile

CatFaceCrayola · 10/10/2014 16:20

Back is proper twingey today! :(

Have spent most of the afternoon napping and feel generally yuck

Peaceloveandbiscuits · 10/10/2014 16:35

Oh god, I have such a TMI problem I can't even tell you guys. I don't think I can even leave the house because of it! So my plans to go back to work early are dashed. Waaaah. Pregnancy is hard and horrid and I'm not as hardcore as I thought I was! Confused

OP posts:
BigHairyLeggedSpider · 10/10/2014 17:01

Oh you have to tell us now! This may be something discussed graphically on the facebook group...you cant be any more gross Grin

I have done too much today. Was just going to sort a cupboard. Sorted nearly everything instead. Now I cant move.

Peaceloveandbiscuits · 10/10/2014 17:05

What has been discussed so far on FB?

OP posts:
PourquoiTuGachesTaVie · 10/10/2014 17:08

C'mon Peace, a problem shared is a problem halved.

I'm struggling to move now too BHLS, went up to the loft to drag some baby stuff down and now my house is a mess, gots lots of things to sort and I'm pretty sure I won't be able to bend at all tomorrow!

BigHairyLeggedSpider · 10/10/2014 18:39

Discharge, sniffing pants to work out whether you have peed yourself or are just producing more discharge than the aswan dam.. Frequent diarrhoeaeic issues....

Still think you should make a fake profile and just add that one group... Grin Grin Grin

Peaceloveandbiscuits · 10/10/2014 18:40

DH looked at it (very reluctantly) and winced Confused

Basically I discovered a few days ago that I had a hemmorhoid (yes, just the one!) for the first time in my life (I'm not even constipated, the fuck?). Went and got some suppositories as they seemed a bit less messy and awkward than cream and ointment. Got on fine and thought it had erm, gone back inside. Today, blood. Lots and lots of blood.

Cry.

CatFaceCrayola · 10/10/2014 19:03

I found my first pile a few weeks ago. Pretty grim. I've mostly just ignored it though and it's just sort of existing. Still bleeds when I have a particularly epic poo though!

And you'll have to try harder with TMI to gross any of us out anymore! :D

PourquoiTuGachesTaVie · 10/10/2014 19:09

Ever had an anal fissure? I think I'd rather be in labour than try and poo with an anal fissure ever again.

(Is this making you feel better Peace?) Wink

Lucy90 · 10/10/2014 19:38

I seem to be farting all the time, OH thinks its hilarious but i hate it!! Also keep getting stuck when i roll onto my back so OH has to roll me back onto one of my sides so i can get myself up, i feel like a turtle stuck on my back! My hair is all lanky with the most hideous split ends ive ever seen! And i got told at work today im 'really wobbling' when i walk-how complimentary!!
Where is my pregnancy glow!!

Peaceloveandbiscuits · 10/10/2014 19:44

Crying for all our poor bottoms

My friend had one of those Pourquoi. She said that the only way to poo without screaming in agony was to go in the bath. She recommended I have a water birth on that basis. I hope the image of her in that bath doesn't cross my mind when I'm in the birth poolShock

BigHairyLeggedSpider · 10/10/2014 19:50

Oh god.... I never felt so scared for my arse before. Sad

Taura · 10/10/2014 21:43

In brighter news, I had the lovely news today that my maternity buddy (actual friend, lives locally, 10 weeks ahead in pregnancy, who had about 5 miscarriages before conceiving with an egg donor in Spain) had a baby boy yesterday (c-section). Don't know how it all happened yet but will no doubt get all the details in the next few days. Big grin on my face all day today though and looking forward to being mums together.

Roonerspism · 11/10/2014 14:33

Glad to hear happy news, taura!

I have had - erm - fissure problems since me second delivery. I can confirm pooing with a bad fissure is akin to childbirth. Even now, I can fill the loo with blood. Please no one be embarrassed.... Not withe anyway - I'm, sadly, an expert!

Peaceloveandbiscuits · 11/10/2014 15:52

Congratulations to your pal Taura!

We're minding my friend's nine year old today. DH is downstairs watching an inane film about dolphins with her while I lie down in bed. Thank goodness for DH. Thank goodness for bed.

I popped into work to look at the rota and I can manage another week off, so I'm going back in on Friday. Aaaaand relax!
