Just Shagging Grads thread No.13 for upduffed viroids!

Nessalina · 06/10/2014 07:46

Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 13th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed! Grin

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 29th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy! Grin

There is also a Just Mumming thread in postnatal clubs here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates! It's a bit quiet at the moment, but with all these upduffed viroids hopefully it won't be for long!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

So, roll call below please, viroids! Smile

hey ness, sorry about the breechness. I never fancied the idea of an ECV (was convinced baby would be breech for ages and am now getting tickles in funny places so roll on mw on Thursday). One thing I have read, on the home birth website, is that to turn it you have to commit, really get down on all fours for good chunks of time (it is so hard though, knackering). I've also read that getting onto all fours and doing figure-8s with your bum help turn it. Good luck!

I was the hostess with the mostess today and after my friend left I slept for about four hours! I feel a bit crap now and DP is out at the pub. Told him to make the most of it! Not getting so much BH tonight - half glad, half disappointed!

Leela5 · 07/10/2014 20:30

Hi girls just clicked in thread and saw your post Lauren. Try not to panic, sending you big cuddle. My mate has had bleeds all the way through and her baby is perfectly healthy at 20 weeks. Hope epu can see you tomorrow and crossing everything that they can put your mind at rest.

ness my mate was told to get on hands and knees and clean to encourage baby to shift round, did they suggest that? X

Nessalina · 07/10/2014 20:39

Lol, the midwife did jokingly suggest scrubbing the kitchen floor Hmm
Tried getting on all fours today to do some butt wiggling, but it was super uncomfortable Confused
I think me & DH are going to go to the pool and try some handstands! Grin

What was uncomfortable ness? I find it hard on my wrists so go on my knuckles (like a massive, totally unripped Jean Claude Van Damme). You do have to get your knees pretty wide. Have you got a ball? Leaning over that and rocking back and forth is more comfy too.

Hey leela, hope you're ok. & Yes, hope you're ok lauren, hope you're resting in bed now. xx

Nessalina · 07/10/2014 21:02

Just felt like the full weight of the baby was on the bump, very weird! I do have a ball, so I'll give that a go Smile

JuniDD · 07/10/2014 21:50

Sorry ness...I think that might be the idea! Wink. Maybe start off leaning on the ball then try on all fours, work down into the sensation?

Wow, that mural is amazing zyla. I don't have much idea about that kind of thing but a funny story I have is that my friend did a Gruffalo nursery for her son and when they moved him in there he was terrified of it! Shock So I'd be inclined to wait myself...

wilmabedrock · 07/10/2014 21:58

I know that feeling Ness, it isn't pleasant. I also heard that spinning baby website was good and would have reservations about ECV.

zyla, love that mural. MiniWil is 2 and has never paid any attention to what is on her wall so whatever you decide to do will probably be for your benefit more than baby's for first couple of years. Only thing is, 3 year olds have opinions and you might end up with a truck loving tomboy on your hands and never get to use your mural. We have wall stickers from here:
www.tinyme.co.uk/wall-decor/wall-stickers

Although doubt the link will work as on the app. More pricey than amazon etc but the size worked better for us and they are really good quality. Plus you can pick from lots of different colourways to suit decor.

Lauren, really hoping all is ok and you're not too worried. Big hugs Thanks .

Morning viroids, up and getting DD sorted to go to my friends for her breakfast. I'm still bleeding, no clots or pain but bright red blood. Scan is at 8:15. I just feel sick!

Definitely get a birthing ball ness and lounge around on it with your knees on the floor!!

ZylaB · 08/10/2014 06:36

juni thanks for the gruff all advice, and yeah I think what we do will be for us and not her wil and others who have sensibly mentioned it. I'll take a look at that site! Thankies

ZylaB · 08/10/2014 06:37

lauren fx and lots of love, hope scan goes ok this morning

RPopz · 08/10/2014 07:32

Hope it goes ok Lauren xxx Thanks

teejayem · 08/10/2014 08:05

Thinking of you this morning lauren big hugs, hope it all goes okay xxx

laurenamium · 08/10/2014 08:44

Thanks everyone, baby okay and still measuring big so they've put my DD at 25th April, they have no idea why I'm bleeding but there's a heart beat and it's wiggly as and all looking healthy. I can breathe now!

TabbyTurmoil · 08/10/2014 08:50

Phew - and relax. So glad to hear it's ok and wiggling about in there!

wilmabedrock · 08/10/2014 09:05

Brilliant news Lauren, so pleased.

Nessalina · 08/10/2014 09:11

Yay, fab news! Grin They couldn't figure mine out either, they said sometimes blood vessels in the cervix go pop, and it could've been that, but they couldn't say for sure. Just as a warning, mine did it two days in a row, and we rushed back the next day too - it was still fine! Grin They were really nice about us going back though, so if it doesn't ease off, just keeping going back xx

DH has left no milk and no bread today Hmm Breakfast is super-healthy Muller chocolate corner... it's not like I had MaccyDs for tea last night, oh no Blush

minimooo · 08/10/2014 09:17

Ah brilliant news lauren! So glad to hear all ok.

laurenamium · 08/10/2014 09:50

Thanks everyone, they said it might be that with me too ness. I'm still bleeding at the minute so it's good to know the baby is unaffected so far!

Mmm muller chocolate corner. I had honey Cheerios so not much better!

teejayem · 08/10/2014 09:59

Ah, so pleased it was all okay Lauren :)

I got on the scales last night and I weighed 5 whole pounds more than I did when I got on them in the morning. I've come to the conclusion that I'm actually weighed down with poo & am stuffing myself with branflakes this morning....
the joys!

Minion · 08/10/2014 10:20

Fantastic news lauren! They are sent to make us panic aren't they! I guess it's lots of r&r and macdonalds for you chick x

laurenamium · 08/10/2014 10:21

Mmm McDonald's! Definitely on the cards today! I can't remember the last time I had one Grin

JuniDD · 08/10/2014 10:38

Yay lauren that's great news, it must be such a relief.

I have Cheerios for breakfast everyday - they are yummy!

Can I ask a question, appreciate I may be overthinking. One of the only boys' names I like is the name of half a couple I am very close to who are really struggling with TTC. They've had three mc this year and I'm trying to support them but it's obviously difficult as I am pg. It feels a bit attention-seeking to say anything before the birth but not sure if it's ok or not? What do you think?

Nessalina · 08/10/2014 10:51

Ooh that's a funny one Juni... How have they reacted to you being preggers? If they've been ok I can't imagine it being an issue.. They might take it as being quite flattering! Only thing to try and scout out is if there's any tradition in their family for naming sons after their fathers! Blush

Just working my way through these breech exercises Shock Managed the knee to chest ok and the breech tilt isn't too bad...
Started looking into cesareans on the net and they're a bit more complicated than I thought Confused If I can avoid it I'd certainly prefer to do so!!
