Just Shagging Grads thread No.13 for upduffed viroids!

Nessalina · 06/10/2014 07:46

Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 13th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed! Grin

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 29th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy! Grin

There is also a Just Mumming thread in postnatal clubs here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates! It's a bit quiet at the moment, but with all these upduffed viroids hopefully it won't be for long!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

So, roll call below please, viroids! Smile

I used to have a renault. Awful cars. I feel your pain.

Not everyone gets Braxton Hicks. I worked up until 38.5 weeks last time and had really strong ones a lot. But as soon as I stopped working they settled down. So if you're taking it easy you may not get any. Also agree that they don't even come close to labour pains.

ZylaB · 07/10/2014 14:29

I was tracking an Amazon parcel and saw it said next to that package "out for delivery" I was really unhappy, I've been in all day and it's got my tea in it, I neeeed my nice tea!!! So I got Amazon to ring me to complain, all ready to tell them they'd never tried to deliver it, not knocked or rung the bell, no card through the letterbox etc etc when the nice lady explained "out for delivery" meant it was out in the van with the driver ready to deliver, not that they'd tried to deliver and I was out... Blush Blush Blush

I was full of pregnancy rage and everything lol. Mind you, the English isn't clear.

laurenamium · 07/10/2014 14:50

GrinAt Zylas pregnancy rage!

I'm bleeding Sad quite a lot, the EPU can't fit me in until 8:15 tomorrow so I've had to cancel work tomorrow and arrange Childxare for DD, can't help thinking the worse Sad

ZylaB · 07/10/2014 15:07

Oooh lauren fx for scan, remember people do quite often bleed early on xx

freshstart4us · 07/10/2014 15:32

lauren that must be really frightening, is there any way you can just go to bed with a bottle of water and do nothing until tomorrow morning? I expect that is very tough with DD, hope you have a supportive DH on hand this evening. Thinking of you...xx

laurenamium · 07/10/2014 15:41

I had a little bleed earlier on but this is much bigger, I'm being lazy on the sofa while DD plays and ill be going to bed as soon as she does. DP is awful in a crisis Hmm I've spent the whole morning chasing around after a bloody fuse so at least the car starts to get me there tomorrow!

RPopz · 07/10/2014 15:52

Oh Lauren - fx all is fine x Thanks Brew

minimooo · 07/10/2014 15:58

Fx for tomorrow's scan lauren That must be very scary. Hope you can rest up this afternoon and evening xx

Congrats fresh and before lovely to see you both here Smile

ZylaB · 07/10/2014 16:09

My parcel's arrived!! I'm now sitting making proper old lady "ahhhh" sounds when drinking it, life's too short for bad cups of tea! :)

Pisghetti · 07/10/2014 16:23

What brand is it Zyla? DP loves his tea so I usually get anything fancy for Christmas.

Fx everything is ok Lauren hope you get some rest.

minimooo · 07/10/2014 16:24

Yay zyla! I love a good cup of tea! What type did you get?

Minion · 07/10/2014 17:01

Thinking of you Lauren. I hope your relaxing and being looked after xxx

ZylaB · 07/10/2014 17:06

It's nothing over the top but is twinings decaf English breakfast. They serve it in Costa, and it's the best decaf tea I've found, when you want a cup that tastes like non decaf. I can't find it in supermarkets though, they seem to do everything but. (Also love twinings lemon and ginger)

TabbyTurmoil · 07/10/2014 17:12

Oh lauren, glad to hear you're taking it easy tonight. Will be thinking of you and really hope all will be well at your scan.

Congratulations tee , before , fresh .

I'm interested to hear that I'm not the only one with McDonalds cravings - I've held out so far as it's not really my bag (haven't had one for about ten years) but have taken it as a sign that baby needs more meat!

Nessalina · 07/10/2014 17:13

Dammit!!! Baby is breech Confused
Scan good otherwise, he's a good size, no issues. Except he's the wrong flippin' way up! They want me to go in for a ECV next week but it sounds pretty uncomfortable and only has a 50% success rate...
But I'll be gutted if we need a C-section Sad

Hope you're feeling ok Lauren? Take it very easy, I really hope it's nothing. I had a big ol' bleed at about 10 weeks and all was fine Thanks

ness just concentrate on the positives, he's a good size, no issues. Also everyone on the pregnancy forum always suggests a website called Spinning Babies, no idea if it works but worth a look?

Pisghetti · 07/10/2014 17:21

Eek! Do you have advice on getting baby to turn by themselves? Hands and knees, forward leaning...?

Nessalina · 07/10/2014 17:25

Yeah, there's a couple of positions that they recommend to try and get him to turn on his own, so I'm going to give them a go. Just freaked myself out reading a thread about how dangerous ECV is, so it's totally put me off it Confused

RPopz · 07/10/2014 17:32

Ah Ness - rubbish! Get on those hands and knees Wink

RPopz · 07/10/2014 17:33

Swimming!

ZylaB · 07/10/2014 18:34

Ok so ages ago I decided I was going to put a mural on a wall in the nursery and had one picked out and everything. It is lovely, but I'm just debating if I'd be better leaving something like that until the little one is a few years old, then do it so it'll be fresher? What do you guys think? this was the mural I love and I'm still possibly going to use it?

If no mural then I'll probably go for some wall stickers to start off with, any advice on which brands are best?

callipygian00 · 07/10/2014 18:46

Thinking about you Lauren, my DH is rubbish in a crisis too. Wishing you all the best for tomorrow, fingers crossed it's just a random bleed like Ness's.

Ness boo for breech babies. Don't trust everything you read on Mumsnet either, ask your doctor about your concerns and listen to him/her instead. Good luck spinning him around!

Got to get up at stupid o'clock in the morning to get a train to Glasgow for a training day. Hope the nausea don't kick in tomorrow!

laurenamium · 07/10/2014 19:14

Zyla I remember that mural and I love it, I plan to put it in DDs room when we move. I know what you mean though. DD is nearly 4 and she would have appreciated it for maybe the last year or so...

Minion · 07/10/2014 20:10

Midwife went OK. All looking good, all blood tests a-ok. Which is nice.
Sure measured me and it's measuring 30 weeks not 31, she's not concerned but it makes me think I'm right re; my dates, hey ho.
She had a good feel and felt the back, had and legs.. I mean, how the fuck? That's a mega talent right there. Wish I could do that!
Ness 'scuse ignorance what's a ecv? I'll Google but just in case I don't... Get on that birthing ball, lounge forward over it apparently works.
I may be imaging it tho..

Minion · 07/10/2014 20:17

Never mind. I've just googled. Looks a bit uncomfy, hope the little monkey flips before it gets to that Ness
