Just Shagging Grads thread No.13 for upduffed viroids!

Nessalina · 06/10/2014 07:46

Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 13th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed! Grin

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 29th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy! Grin

There is also a Just Mumming thread in postnatal clubs here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates! It's a bit quiet at the moment, but with all these upduffed viroids hopefully it won't be for long!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

So, roll call below please, viroids! Smile

Hey it was a double decker! Good work viroids. Eaten layer by layer as I do most chocolates (a kit kat needs at least 30 mins set aside). I can't do dipping chocolate in tea though. My step mum dips buttered toast in tea bork

I also had to get an eviction notice and the heavies in for DS Ness so gawd knows.

KatoPotato · 23/10/2014 22:19

Cadburys fabulous fingers make awesome tea straws!

New pregnancy joy, I've developed an allergy to my friends cat! I had cats of my own for years but came home with sneezes a blotchy face and had to take my contacts out!

Nessalina · 23/10/2014 22:19

How is it everyone knows about the Sky app magic remote except me?! I'm so behind the times!

Pre-pregnancy I was a chocolate picker & dissector - I could eat half a bar and put the rest in the fridge! But now my sweet tooth has run rampant... I can't get enough of the stuff Shock

Toast in tea is 7 shades of wrong.

Yes popz. Bite both ends of and drink your tea through it. You have to eat it quite quickly though.

I knew not of this Sky magic either. I also think the man of the house is not aware so could be amusing...

wilmabedrock · 23/10/2014 22:23

Furry, Popz, is one of you doing the next thread?

RPopz · 23/10/2014 22:26

Sorry Ness - didn't realise Furry just said exact same thing to you!! D'oh!

I can't do it on phone can I?

Nessalina · 23/10/2014 22:31

It's gone a bit speedy this thread! Shock Fingers crossed for baby Ness making an exit in thread 14...

Watching Sunshine on Leith - it's proper cheese-tastic, loving it!

Don't think so. We can all be quiet until morning Grin .

TheBooMonster · 23/10/2014 23:22

kato if it helps it should go away after pregnancy, I guess being pregnant sends your immune system into overdrive, I was full on nosebleeds, itchys and flu symptoms with cats when I was pregnant with DD (apart from my MiL and FiL's cat who I lived with O.o) and it went away after I had her.

Alex was unceremoniously evicted almost a month early, she was lazy about taking in nutrients even in the womb, she stopped growing! I have no tips on how to help make the womb less comfy nes though I seem to recall my Due in December group ladies raved about Raspberry leaf tea? Something about softening the uterus... or walking, walking's meant to be good! Download Ingress onto your phone and go to the town / city centre (it's rubbish outside of town, where I live there's only three portals and they're all over a kilometre away) you'll be so busy taking over portals and walking into strangers that you won't realise how far you've walked!

JuniDD · 24/10/2014 07:24

I wrote a massive post last night and it wouldn't post. grrrr.

I am now in a private room which means I've slept. Hurrah. They've turned my room into an ante natal ward so I am the only one here with a baby. Sad Anyway, I think a big corner has been turned healthwise and mentally for me so things are on the up.

Her name is Sylvie. Grin

laurenamium · 24/10/2014 07:36

Oh Sylvie is a lovely name Juni!

I'm bleeding again. I'm not as concerned as I was last time though, it's red blood but the sonographer at the last scan said to expect to bleed because of the mass- but hope its old brown blood. This is red so ill ring it in, but I'm not panicking like last time

wilmabedrock · 24/10/2014 07:41

Hope all is ok Lauren.

Sylvie is a lovely name Juni. Glad you're feeling a bit better.

Has anyone read the thread in chat about funny things you did with your pfb? It's quite amusing.

RPopz · 24/10/2014 07:58

Aww, love it Juni Smile Glad you got some sleep too x

Cymraes17 · 24/10/2014 08:10

I'm not quite sure how to evict baby without medical intervention. My 1 was born at 33 weeks, 2 was induced a day early because I had a fall ( incidentally on DC1 second birthday wps) and 3 was 4 days late and I just remember feeling a bit strange.
Walking is supposedly very good for getting things going, so is jsing apparently?!

Minion · 24/10/2014 08:25

Awww sylvie is a great name!
Ewww at tea! I must be in the minority of hating tea and coffee, though there was a whole Fred about it the other day, so i know I'm not totally alone in this madness.
Don't even know how to work our coffee machine and we've had it over 6 years!
Bad wife!

I'm in a choc phase, 9 gold bars for 39p the other day... Glorious! Didn't last long as husband has a huge sweet tooth.

Yep, I think furry will drop first too! Oh god it's getting close now eh!

How long before due date is everyone starting mat leave? I've got to do a set number of days in now, thinking I'd get them all done at one, instead of spreading it out over the whole month, then off I go... Sounds doable? Or did those further along than me just nene the time to relax etc?

FurryScoob · 24/10/2014 08:29

Hello cym

juni lovely name & glad you've turned a corner & are feeling better, hope that means you can go home soon.

ness I think you must return to the basics of the thread, stroke the lucky unicorn & shag the baby out!

DP knows nothing of the sky app either, I've had hours of fun changing the channel & pausing live tv from the bedroom, especially during the World Cup when football overload kicked in! Grin

I can't start threads on my phone that's how the last one ended up a mess! Any other volunteers?

wilmabedrock · 24/10/2014 08:52

That's genius Furry, I am going to investigate!

Min, you could do the thread now you're here? I am also on my phone so can't be bothered to boot up the laptop.

I would say it's nice to stop a couple of weeks before due date if possible but depends on situation and return to work etc. However if you think you'll go overdue, you have to factor that in too as you could end up sitting around for a month. That will probably happen to me this time but am sure the toddler will keep me occupied. I found the last couple of weeks quite tough last time (worked until about 38+5).

laurenamium · 24/10/2014 09:19

I'm off to hospital to be listened in on. DP is away working so my DM is coming with me, I've got to be back for 11 to pick DD and a Mindee up from nursery Confused no pressure!

I went off at 36 weeks with DD- 2 weeks holidays then 2 weeks mat before Due date, but then she was 14 days over so I had 6 weeks off. I was bored! But I couldn't have worked that job any longer (busy bar with lots of fighting) as it was just getting all a bit dangerous!

Pisghetti · 24/10/2014 09:27

DP doesn't watch tv Hmm DS on the other hand..... Wink

I'm finishing at 36.5 weeks. That's the latest I can go without losing some of my holiday entitlement unless I spread it out over the preceding month but I decided I'd rather have the block of time. My son asked if I'd get bored... No way! It'll be like an extended holiday. I plan to read, cook, bake and stitch before the baby comes. The only disappointing thing is my leave will start the week after half term as I had been hoping to have a bit of time with DS before the baby comes.

Pisghetti · 24/10/2014 09:34

Hope everything is ok Lauren x

Nessalina · 24/10/2014 11:17

How's it going Lauren? Hope all is ok'

That's a lovely name Juni! Glad you're getting a bit of peace and quiet Smile How's she doing?

Having been on mat leave 4 weeks now, with another 3-4 to go potentially better not be! I think it would have been good to hold off another week maybe? I had to take holiday first, so mat leave didn't actually start til 17th, and due on 4th, so I could have gone a little later... But then I was knackered and sooo ready to finish!! If you can make it to 36 weeks go for it Smile it's really nice to have odd days off here and there too!

There is no way I can be arsed to JS!! PGP is meaning legs stay clamped together, so it might be tricky... Im sure DH would enjoy the challenge mind you Grin

The one time I take my DM to a hospital visit and I'm bleeding due to cervical erosion...because of rough sex BlushBlush

KatoPotato · 24/10/2014 11:24

Sylvie is a gorgeous name! Glad you've both turned a corner, you'll be home soon!

Thinking of you Lauren, Thanks I'm sure everything will be fine, surely if it's a mass as predicted it's likely to be red as its been clotted together then come away? rather than old blood that's deposited all around? Lots of love all the same!

KatoPotato · 24/10/2014 11:25

Shiiiiittttt Lauren.... that's ummm pretty high up there on the embarrassment scale!! Thank god though!

Pisghetti · 24/10/2014 11:28

Hey that's a lovely name Juni! Sorry totally missed that earlier. Great also that things are on the up. I initially read that you'd written a huge poem which sort of confirmed your 'posh' status Wink

Ha oh dear Lauren Blush at least it is nothing sinister eh?

Well Ness kneeling over a birthing ball will help baby get into the right position whilst also helping DH, errrm, to get into the right position. Two birds one stone! Helpful and efficient me...
