Any June mums to be yet?

I've seen the group for May or June, but are there any other definite Junes yet?
Been getting faint positive lines for a few days but today have got a definite line, giving me a due date of around 6th June :)

Trying to stay cautiously optimistic at the moment as we had an MMC in May at 8 weeks.

So, who else is out there? :)

Morning all. Going to stop worrying about faint test lines now. Did a test first thing and a dark line came up within seconds so feeling really happy today.

Welcome more newbies, lovely to see the thread filling up now.

4+6 today Smile

Hi envious! Wink 5th of June does sound good. Think I've got 12th or 13th. If only they actually came on the right day. Mind you dd managed to arrive on edd. All 4 boys way off 8 days early - 10 days late.

I think my Edd will end up being 15 or 16 but even then I have to have perfect conditions. I was in slow labour once for 4 days as the wrong midwife was on call. She was horrid so I crossed my legs from Monday -Thursday. Grin

Phoned midwife this morning and got my booking in appointment in Oct 30th. I'll be 9+2.

My DD finally showed her face 13 days after her EDD so I'm not expecting miracles! 2nd June is my EDD but I'm thinking it'll be a mid June arrival.

I'm in a bit of a dilemma re booking in? Not sure what to do tbh. My last nhs experience was a huge disaster. My last 2 births were home births but this is my 6th baby so my chances are higher of post parted bleed. My feeling is the only way forward is an independent midwife. Also the hospital I'd be likely be referred to is 25 miles down the road. I'm going to end up giving birth in the road aren't i. Got myself in. Bit of a stew this afternoon thinking about it.

Exciting to hear people are getting their 1st appointments booked - I sent a self referral form to the maternity unit of my local hospital over the weekend, but not heard anything yet - last time they called back the day after my MC, which was hilariously bad timing...

So, after spending most of this week freaking out because of cramps, I am now freaking out because today I seem to have no cramps! Obviously nothing will be a let up from this constant low level panic!!

Just had a meeting with a fellow research student about some potential work in China, it would have been in April-June, and couldn't think of a way to say no whilst still showing how interested I was in the project, so dropped a hint that I might be 'unable to travel' - she guessed immediately and totally understood my hesitation, saying "in China we believe if you tell anyone before three months your baby will die" Shock um, thanks for that!!

Omg perpetual seriously?!! What a thing to say! I had awful cramps in my first week or so but they have died down now thank god. No idea how I will get through labour which will be 100 times worse...

She didn't mean it horribly Jenny - she's a really sweet woman but I think as English is her second language she can sometimes be a bit unintentionally blunt!
Glad you're cramps have died down too. I can't even think about labour yet!!

btw if anyone can't find it, here's the stats list I think maybe when we start new threads it should be put in the first post? if it's possible for other people to share it?

lol perpetual i think sometimes people who don't use english as their first language can be a bit blunt, when pregnant with ds I worked with an indian lady who had some choice sayings and was quite blunt but very very lovely!

sunbathing my booking in appt feels like YEARS away i tell you, YEARS!!!!

I'm a total noob, so what stats do you need? I think my EDD is 11th June 2015 and this'll be my first child (hence the noobishness).
Okay, I've made a GP appoinment for next week as I need to go in and sort out my repeat prescriptions anyway, and figured I would bring up that I'm also pregnant and whether I can even continue taking said pescriptions.
Do I need to contact the local midwifery unit as well, or will the GP sort that out?

Oh and this is also my first pregnancy, so I'm also all naive and trying to think positive that nothing will go wrong. Ignorance is bliss and all that I suppose. Sorry for double posting!

Ok I'm guessing these are the stats you require:
Baby no6, edd 13/6/15

We were ttc for 10 months this time.
My older dc are 16, 14, 11, 7, 3. I'm on husband 2 and this is our second baby together. I also have step dc. Would love another girl as my dd is 14 and won't let me play with her hair anymore. Sad I have 4 boys. We are s bit outnumbered.
