Any June mums to be yet?

I've seen the group for May or June, but are there any other definite Junes yet?
Been getting faint positive lines for a few days but today have got a definite line, giving me a due date of around 6th June :)

Trying to stay cautiously optimistic at the moment as we had an MMC in May at 8 weeks.

So, who else is out there? :)

Hello can I join
I'm due sometime between 4th & 7th June (depending on whether you use a adjusted cycle calculator or not)
This is no.2 after a gap of 6.5yrs. We have been trying for 20mths so I'm still in slight disbelief.
I'd forgotten how rotten I felt last time round... I've had hormone related indigestion & nausea for 10days now & if it follows last time I've got another 7 months of indigestion to go yuck!
I'm still ridiculously excited thoughGrin

Insomnia, cramps, constant weeing and upset stomach here! No nausea yet but so sorry for those feeling rubbish. My stats are #1 age 35 EDD 4th June. Welcome to Mrs and Perpetual hopefully we can all support each other until we have our scans, it seems so far away...

Hi all Smile

I'm about 4 1/2 weeks and think my due date is around 4th June - dh's birthday!

Have booked in for a private early scan on 24th October as I don't feel it's fair to wait until 3 months.

Feeling exhausted. DS is 6 and it literally feels like a lifetime ago I did this. Forgot how tiring the first few weeks are! Maybe because I'm older! Wink

Thanks ots - it's a mix of emotions isn't?
Hello to the other new people too! Sorry to hear you're feeling grotty, but everyone I read says early symptoms are a good sign! I'm not experiencing much yet, bar tiredness (and that could be from cutting right back on my coffee habit! I'm drinking a decaf soya latte as we speak - I ask you, what's the point?!) and generally feeling a bit off. Though I did cry over my late grandmother's fish knives last night, could that count as hormones?

I've just made my first midwife appointment, 17th Oct. Seems ages away but the midwife is only at our surgery on fridays! It's nice to have something to plan towards though. I think that's how I'm going to get through this pregnancy, taking each week, or day, at a time.

Yes definitely hormones perpetual, I remember during my first pregnancy crying at the most ridiculous things. The one that sticks in my mind most was the onion getting stuck in the lift doors in the Extra chewing gum advert. In fact I feel a bit teary thinking about it now haha.

Haha ots that is brilliant! I haven't noticed being more tearful but I am a cry baby anyway, I don't let DP watch DIY SOS as it always makes me blub.

Afternoon all - I've updated the stats list Stats list is that everyone/everything so far? If you want me to take the appts bit off just let me know, or if anyone thinks anything else should be added? Sorry if i've missed anyone/anything but i'll be back on later :)

Welcome to the newbies :) Looks like we're slowly filling up on here!

I'm struggling with letting go of coffee - last time I went right off the stuff, but i'm a serial coffee drinker and atm am not doing fab without it. Am sure it'll get easier though. Feel exhausted today but not sick! Sorry to everyone else feeling generally rubbish :(

sounds like hormones to me perpetual I cried buckets two days ago whilst washing up because one of my already cleaned forks fell back into the sink. Felt like the world was going to end!!

ah - stats. Thanks! There should be an option on a google spreadsheet to make it public so we can all update? I'm 31 , no appt yet, just GP later this week (probably not necessary if you know how this works but I definitely don't). I don't want to be sick at all but hearing people already feel sick does make me hope everything is all right :)

Still can't edit Kyz, not sure why.

I'm missing coffee too. DH picked me up some decaf, but its horrible :( . Doesn't help that DS was up for 2 hours in the night! Yawn!

Thanks for the stats kyz.

I haven't had any sickness yet but then I didn't have any with DD so I'm hoping I'll escape it this time too.

Although I only had DD last year, things have already changed, booking in wise. Last time, booking in was at the 12 week scan, but now you do get to see a midwife before then.

I did another test this morning (as there were two in the pack). The line last week was quite dark (compared to the first test I took with DD) and the one today (4+6) was very strong, which I'm hoping is a good sign.

I love coffee. I'm still bf DD so I had been limiting myself to one or two a day but now I've cut it out completely. I can't believe it's going to be ages before I can drink it again!

Yes - thanks Kyz! I would be more helpful but I can't create these things on my work computer, will look later. I umm. haven't cut out coffee completely. I'm aiming for max 200mg a day which is pretty much 1 cup if I eat chocolate as well, but I have switched to decaf tea. Relieved to hear not everyone is sick!

PerpetualStudent · 30/09/2014 15:48

Glad to hear I'm not the only one who hasn't cut coffee out completely, I'm sticking to one mug of instant or one single shot americano/latte a day. And also glad I'm not the only one getting emotional over cutlery!!

Thanks for the stats list, I can't seem to edit it either (perhaps can't on ipad?) but I'm 28, with no previous DC and no appointments as yet

Loving the stats list! I've felt OK today which is a bit disconcerting, the constant nausea is horrible but strangely reassuring. Had a dream that it was twins last night, wonder if any of us have got two buns cooking?!

My mum keeps saying she thinks I'll have twins crimebuster . Will be so strange for DSD if we do - her mum has just had twin girls :) .

DH cooked spag bol tonight, one of my favourite meals usually. I had one mouth full and couldn't eat any more :( . Has anyone else had any food aversions yet?

Evening! Be under no illusion, I haven't cut out coffee completely, I've been having a couple of mugs but wanted to have just the morning one really and decaf/something else the rest of the time :)

I'm shattered today, DS has been a handful and a half!

ok ok ok how about now ? Stats list I'm sure i've done it now. I found a bit that said that anyone with the link can edit, so here is the link, so maybe you can all edit it now? Sorry for being so dopey!

not yet ots! Spag bol is one of my faves though i'd hate to go off that!

Welcome and congratulations birdiegirl .

kyz I still can't but maybe because I'm using the mobile app? Not sure. I'll try tomorrow on the computer.
Since not being able to eat the spag bol, the thought of eating anything beefy makes me feel a bit funny. I didn't get that with DS, just wanted to eat everything in sight haha.

Thanks for the stats Smile

For the extra info I'm 28.

I have a private early scan booked on the 24th October.

I haven't bothered letting the doctors know or booking a midwife appointment and won't until after my early scan as they're useless and won't do anything but check blood pressure etc and my mums a nurse and has done this for me.

I hate to be a moaner as I have really good experiences about the nhs but not their midwife care. I will be visiting them the minimum amount during this pregnancy as I know from experience to trust my instincts and not their opinions. I will make up for it by having a couple of extra private scans done and they do private midwife care in my area I am looking into.

Luckily I have a couple of medical family members if needs be. Smile

Thanks for sharing bubalou could I ask whereabouts in the country you are?
Im in London and didn't have a massively positive experience with the NHS with MC earlier this year (I know a MC is never going to be positive as such, to be fair!) and now feeling a little aprehensive about going into the system again! I can't opt out completely, but want to go in with clear expectations!

I've been looking into getting an early private scan, but they seem to be at least £100 a pop and, as a student living on a research council sripend & a bit of freelance income Im not sure I could justify it... Has anyone else had one before? Do you think it's worth it?
