Any June mums to be yet?

I've seen the group for May or June, but are there any other definite Junes yet?
Been getting faint positive lines for a few days but today have got a definite line, giving me a due date of around 6th June :)

Trying to stay cautiously optimistic at the moment as we had an MMC in May at 8 weeks.

So, who else is out there? :)

I've seen those but I'm vegetarian and can't take them as they use fish oils.

Loiterer I got those ones too and have been taking them for the past 8 days. I was worried as I had not been on any folic acid tabs prior to getting pregnant.

Afternoon all!

Sorry MrsE, I have no advice but just sympathy! I hope your DH is looking after you.

I'm feeling absolutely fine which is slightly concerning, however like an obsessive I poas on saturday morning and got 2-3 weeks on a clear blue which is right. And I did an ic this pm and got a super strong line straight away, same as control line so it looks like things are heading in the right direction.

God I wish these weeks would hurry up! My docs appt isn't until next week, argh!

I have got serious wind though, good god. Like last time I was pregnant I can't get enough sparkling water, it's probably related!! Grin

I'm just taking folic acid at the minute.

My diet is pretty good at the moment, so I'm not worried.

Still nothing to report here. No symptoms. I hardly remember I'm pregnant thanks to toddler DS Grin. Which might not be a bad thing!

I do think it is dragging though Hmm. Wish 12 weeks would hurry up and come!

MrsE I missed what you wrote earlier, is it Venofer you were supposed to be having?

Welcome to the newbies Grin.

Congratulations and welcome Pas!

I'm taking folic acid when I remember. I don't really believe in vitamins and eat a pretty healthy varied diet I reckon. And the iron always makes me constipated.

MrsE that sounds really tough. Not sure what else to suggest. Big hugs.

Thanks for all the sympathy. I'm not sure what it's called but it's put in an Iv and you have straight into the blood. The hospital Dr was so nice why on earth couldn't my gp have referred me to him like 4 years ago at the beginning of this rubbish and inability to take it orally. When I can take it I'm like a different person.

However each day at a time. I know from experience the baby will probably be ok it's just I will get iller.

I'm now wondering with this continual pain whether to ask for an earlier scan. Just to make sure there is only one little heart beat in there. No point in paying out 4k for an independent midwife if I'm having twins. As I don't think I can fight all those battles. Refusing a c section would be one thing. Refusing a hospital birth I think I'd loose that battle. Not sure I'm going to have the energy to fight all the medical professionals though.

I'd quite like to sit in the corner for 5 months and deal with everything in the spring when I start to feel better again. Sorry I'm doom and gloom guys!

Just been to the doctors to get in the system and also asked about high dose folic acid (5mg) as I am still pretty overweight despite my slimming world efforts. She asked where I'd heard about it so I said MN! Anyway after a bit of googling she decided it was a good idea so gave me a prescription.

She seemed quite concerned about my implantation bleed last weekend (ie 10 days ago, pre-poas). I said I'd had exactly the same with DS but she wants me to have an early scan. Means less waiting I guess but also made me feel a bit anxious. Did anyone else have an implantation bleed?

Anything I got one! Gone up a cup size already so now a K but my backs stayed the same. Love ladies, did me a fitting in the changing room upstairs as I had the pram. It's black but as pretty as it can be! Think I'll order it in nude too.

I'm on pregnacare and was for my pregnancy with DS. I wouldn't worry about no folio acid before conception. I didn't and DS is perfect :) I'm not on extra folic acid but might ask about it.

MrsE I'm sorry there's nothing more they can do for you. I lived with a girl who had to have IV iron every 3 months and when it was due you could really see her getting sick. I can only imagine how much worse it is pregnant too. I really hope it's not as bad as you think it'l be. Good plan on the checking for twins!

Congratulations to the newbies!

mrsE so sorry that you have to deal with this crap on top of being pregnant... I really hope you can find some way to cope until you can have the injections!

Welcome and congrats to all the new June mums sorry for no names I'm on my phone and having problems going through pages!

I'm having a total freak out this evening!

Our next few months are going to be incredibly expensive as I have my 30th birthday, DS's birthday is in the same month, then christmas, plus we have another big event looming.

We also have to attempt to pay off a credit card, save for maternity leave, and cope with the reduced income from April onwards (when I am going to start mat leave).

I'm wondering if we can do it at all?!

We need to pay £1000 off the CC, have at least £1200 saved up, DS's birthday and christmas comes to £1200 even on a strict budget. My birthday includes the big event we are also planning, so the whole thing will probably be around £800.

If we didn't need other things in that time it would be fine, but I'm wondering how I am going to afford anything else Confused. I guess I just need to get the stress out my system, and get on with it! I will need to spend a few hundred pounds on things for this baby too!

I think this month isn't helping. Every 3rd month we have 5 weeks between payday, and the money always runs out by the 3rd week, leaving 2 weeks of stress before payday instead of the usual 1!

Also, I usually have a lot more bought/organised for christmas than I do this year. So it's setting my stress levels off! I don't enjoy shopping for christmas, and try and do it on a budget, so therefore spend a lot of time looking for bargains! I don't bloody want to! I just want to go online, do one big massive shop and pay for it. But my money saving side just can't/won't do it!

Anyone else feeling stressed about similar silly things?!

I need to get a grip!

Good evening everyone, and welcome to newbies, the more the merrier!
I've not had a chance to read all post so will at back and do so when the kids are asleep can't bloody wait
I'm 6+ 4 now and sickness has well and truly hit, as in previous pregnancies I've not actually been sick but that feeling is lurking all day:( I've managed a bit of fish and veg for teapraying it won't come back up ewwww gross!
Boobs are less painful today so I poas and it's still dark, going to try and not do that for a week now at least. I have had to tell the ladies at work that I'm expecting, I have a coffee and sarnie shop and the smells and food have made me feel terrible all week, it's been lovely to have people excited for me as dp is still a bit head in clouds about the idea of another person joining our hectic lives, he'll be fine when the time comes I'm sure! I hope :/
Hope you're all managing well and enjoying scans if you've had them, I'm still not sure but will probably cave in and book for 9 weeks, I know you asylum dwellers will agree with me £99 is worth it for peace of mind. Off to do stories now then relax by the fire tonight, if I can stay awake, I even have chocolate cake made but can't face a slice:(

Due 24th June, 1 ds who was 3 in August and I'm 34 (35 next Saturday). All being ok, I get a scan next Friday at 6+2, nice birthday pressie :)

There'll be 20 months between mine is that makes you feel any better!

MrsE - so sorry to hear all about all that extra stress on top of the usual first trimester yuckiness. What a pain there's nothing they can do to help you.
Choccy - fingers crossed for you and your bean. Hopefully this one will stick. Sounds like a pretty shit year alright. Hopefully this is a new phase.

I'm just finding I'm so tired and it's a struggle to make myself eat. For vitamins, I'm taking folic acid and vit D that I bought over the counter. Feeling jealous of the early scans. I'm trying to keep myself distracted until 12 weeks. Not working very well so far!
I am going on holiday next week though (also have a 30th birthday TheDetective and have been quite overwhelmed with all the upcoming expenses!) and feeling slightly anxious about the flight. Not actually been sick so far, but I think if there's a moment to start, this would be it!

Welcome to the newbees!

Choc - congratulation, i really hope this one sticks for you.

Pas - hard for you to accurately date, you could b a week further on than your scan indicated, i'd say ur prob due around 15th june ... I'm 9 weeks tomorrow of my dates which is 26th may but scan last week said 1st june,
Also think my dd is the same age as yours july 2012

Cup - we may be due date buddies

Detective - expensive couple of months ahead for you. Not sure on everyones dc's ages but for the little ones i just bought a load of stuff from the ELC online sales.. Dd loves happyland, got the zoo for £20 reduced from £70.

MrsE - i think you should get an early scan... Phone the epu and make up some bleeding and pain... They will scan you as they will want to rule out ectopic, sneaky i know but if you are having twins u will need close monitoring with your existing medical issues.

From me - i'm absolutely freezing tonight, heating is on and i'm still cold, just climbed into a hot bath to warm me through! Feeling abit queasy aswell this evening. Phoned epu regarding spotting from fri/sat (post dtdConfused) they weren't concerned. I have my first mw appointment/booking tomorrow. Luckily where i am i will see the same community midwife throughout my pregnancy and then she will do the home visits after baby is born. Only slight difference is i like to use a hospital which is further away so considered out of area so i will hav appointments with her for community care but hospital appointments for bloods.
