I've seen the group for May or June, but are there any other definite Junes yet?
Been getting faint positive lines for a few days but today have got a definite line, giving me a due date of around 6th June :)

Trying to stay cautiously optimistic at the moment as we had an MMC in May at 8 weeks.

So, who else is out there? :)

Hope you get on well today MrsE, good luck.

Ah that's ok ots, I though you were in charge of that sorry! Didn't realise we have to update ourselves. X

My stomachs still dodgy today, I need to go to the loo as soon as I woke up. Anyone else has this in early pregnancy? Guess I better make a doctors appt today.

Zaccheryquack · 20/10/2014 07:32

Hi! Stepped away from the thread for a week (visitors and lack of insomnia!) and you have written 18 pages I think!! Wow - must not leave it that long.

Mrs E sorry to hear you at feeling so rotten. Hopefully, everything will start calming down in a few weeks.

Cuphat glad to hear your scan went well. It makes it all feel real doesn't it!

ots I think I do remember that feeling from my first pregnancy and think the others may be right about it being everything stretching. Think it started a bit later on for me.

the detective please may I join the FB group? If I promise to get better at updating.

It is all starting to feel a bit real. Finally told the doctors I am expecting last Friday and going to book myself in for a private early scan hopefully on Thursday. Had a mmc before dd so it just puts my mind at rest a bit until 12 weeks. Will be feeling nervous on Thursday I think.

MsJupiter · 20/10/2014 08:16

Please do add me Detective.

Did another test this morning, just to make sure. Took a while for line to show but now it's darker than the previous ones - phew! It was the last one in the pack so I will have to see how restrained I can be about buying more. Just doesn't quite feel real unless I can see it there. For DS I did about 24 Blush

ots · 20/10/2014 09:31

I haven't done any more tests since I got a dark line 3 weeks ago. I had one left that I was going to do but my sister had a bit of a scare so I gave it to her. But I think I'm too scared to do one anyway in case the line is fainter. At the moment I'm in the 'ignorance is bliss camp'.

Thanks for replies re the pressure. I don't really think it is anything to worry about, and I'm not in any pain whatsoever. All the while I'm still getting symptoms I'm staying positive :)

Sorry I haven't been on much over the last few days ladies, I was feeling completely awful on Thursday and Friday, and recovering over the weekend. Just like jazzy though, my bloat/constipation bump has gone away now, and I feel a lot more comfortable and less nauseous. Trying to ensure that I drink more fluids and replacing what I've lost if I am sick. Now I've gone the other way and I'm worrying because my symptoms have died right down XD

Anyway, enough about my woes, congrats to those who've got their BFPs, hope everyone is feeling okay and is staying positive, let's get through another week! Smile

HariboBrenshnio · 20/10/2014 10:47

Well after my underwire snapping on the only bra that's able to contain me at the moment this morning, I'm headed for a mercy dash to bravissimo in Leeds. About time really! I'm going to go for underwire bra's and swap to soft cup closer to my due date. Hoping to then convert them into nursing bras. Fingers crossed DS sleeps the whole way!

Hope everyone got a decent nights sleep and those at work aren't feeling too bad xx

MrsExtraOrdinary · 20/10/2014 11:12

Good and bad news at the hospital. The heamatologist agreed intravenous into strain into my blood is absolutely the best way and will avoid my stomach and bowel problems. However I'm not allowed that until I'm at the beginning of the third trimester. I'm already so aneamic and I'll I'm so worried how I'm going to cope until then. As previous experience tells me the baby will take all the iron I do have. Not sure how I'm going to cope until then. I'm going to be very poorly.

You poor thing Mrs E, is there anything you can have or do to help until then? Would a homeopath help possibly? Worth an ask.

I did a Clearblue digital today and it's come up 3 + weeks! That translates to 5+ weeks pregnant but in only 4+6 by my calculation.

Chookford · 20/10/2014 13:14

Afternnon ladies

Hope everyone is well..

MrsE surely they are not proposing to leave you to cope with no help for the next 4 months? that is ridiculous.......

AnythingNotEverything · 20/10/2014 13:22

I agree with other - what on earth do they expect you to do until the third trimester? They can't just leave you struggling.

Haribo what a nightmare! I love Bravissimo in Leeds. Such lovely ladies. Hope you find something suitable and none ugly (these are my only requirements of a bra these days!).

MrsExtraOrdinary · 20/10/2014 15:00

There is nothing more they can do. I think I'm going to have to plan the next 5 months very carefully Sad there won't be any blooming sadly. I've got about 149 days to go before they'll see me again. I'm gutted. If only they'd agreed to refer me sooner. But I had to wait until all the bowel surgery was over.

MrsExtraOrdinary · 20/10/2014 15:03

I went to the gp in April after the ulcer reared its head and it's taken until October to get my apt through for the Dr at hospital. This is why I bearing towards private care for midwifery. Everything takes soooo long.

AnythingNotEverything · 20/10/2014 15:08

Oh MrsE I'm sorry. That sounds really shit. Hope you've got lots of people who can rally round and help. In the meantime feel free to offload here!

Loiterer · 20/10/2014 15:10

Sorry if this has been done already and I missed it, is anyone taking pregnancy vitamins?

MrsExtraOrdinary · 20/10/2014 15:11

I have no one in rl Sad it's going to be hard. Fortunately my eldest 3 dc are of an age they are quite independent. Littlest ds was due to have hours cut down at nursery. He's currently full time. I wanted to have him at home more. This will not happen now. Sad

pasbeaucoupdegendarme · 20/10/2014 15:11

Hello ladies, wondering if there is room for a little one?

I had a mc in August and thought my cycles hadn't returned to normal, until last Monday night when I had awful cramps and sudden heavy bleeding. Whizzed to ooh GP who did a urine test and told me it was positive so probably I'd had another mc. Anyway, I had a scan today which showed a baby with a heartbeat measuring about 6 weeks 3 day, which I assume means I'm 6 weeks pg... Don't quite understand how they date it! I think that means I'm due end of May/beginning of June.

I have one dd who is 2y 3mo so will be nearly 3 by the time this one arrives, assuming it sticks.

Hopingforpeace · 20/10/2014 15:22

This time last year, almost exactly to the hour, I was staring at a stick in disbelief!
Now I'm staring at my gorgeous 4month old dd, asleep in my arms. My pregnancy wasn't easy. The birth is still a blur. However none of that matters now. Good luck to you all. I hope you all have healthy pregnancies. Before you know it, you will be staring, in wonder at your little ones.

cuphat · 20/10/2014 15:24

Sorry to hear that, Mrs.

Loiterer, I'm taking Pregnacare. I've always taken multivitamins but swapped over to Pregnacare when I was ttc DD (as my multivitamins were too high in some vitamins) and I haven't come off them since (still bf DD)!

I never know what to do with regards to omega oils though, as I'm vegetarian and probably don't get enough from food but all the supplements I've found are too high in vitamin E. The midwives couldn't help last time.

Wow, congratulations, pas! You'll probably be due end of May. My scan put me at 8 weeks today and due 1st June (by NHS LMP calculator it's 7+5 and 4th June). Welcome to any other newbies I've missed.

Aww and thank you, hoping, and congratulations on your little one.

Loiterer · 20/10/2014 15:25

Oh Mrs sorry I missed your update. That sounds bloody awful. So sorry you're having a hard time Thanks

cuphat · 20/10/2014 15:27

Oh I meant June, not May! There's a calculator on the NHS website but obviously you'll find it hard to go by LMP.

Loiterer · 20/10/2014 15:28

I nipped out at lunchtime and bought Pregnacare. I bought the more expensive option which seems to have the omega oils in it too (I'll have a proper look when I get home)

Congratulations pas- that must have been a surprise!
