sazzle I can relate very much to what you described. I'm actually finding it very difficult at the moment to 'trust' that I'm pregnant. I had my booking in appointment yesterday and I guess I just find it funny/terrifying that no one's actually checked that I am pregnant. Scan isn't for another five weeks. I do have symptoms but not much sickness, so I am doubting it all.

Had a rough couple of days, including a bit of a meltdown at work - can't seem to stop crying at the moment. Why can't I be one of those people who weeps glamorously, rather than turning into a red - faced, pink - eyed snot monster?! Blush So yes, this potentially irrational anxiety about not actually being pregnant isn't helping. Sad

Bizarrely I'm really missing my mum and I only saw her Saturday!!

I agree about trusting a hpt that you're pregnant and that's it, it all is a bit weird.

11w tomorrow :)

Am jealous of people feeling their mini bumps and hearing heartbeats! 9+4 and I just really can't feel anything... Can't hear a heartbeat either Sad Makes me worry! I think I started feeling the lump at about 11 weeks last time so maybe I just need to be patient, but I'm desperate to know everything is ok. Tempting to get the Doppler out again...

littleluna89 · 16/09/2014 20:56

daholster I can't feel anything but midwife reckons i feel 12 weeks (though possibly seem bigger than I am actually because I'm teeny tiny) she wasn't able to hear anything when she came at me with a dopler though :/

Wineandchoccy · 16/09/2014 21:09

daholster I'm really sorry to hear about your Grandma.

catsofa · 16/09/2014 21:12

I'm jealous too. I'm only 7 + 6 so one of the latest on here, and my "bump" is definitely just my dinner.

Been so lucky I've got huge boobs (for me) and feeling lightheaded quite often, but that's really all. No sickness etc, which is great but isn't helping with the not quite believing I'm really pregnant.

I just bought a doppler online although I know I won't be able to hear anything yet. DP is a musician so I think he might enjoy doing baby heartbeat remixes when we do get to the stage of being able to hear anything :). I think DSD (9) might also enjoy having her heartbeat remixed Grin.

I so wish that DP wasn't living miles and miles away in a different city, I haven't seen him since I told him about the pregnancy 3 weeks ago, and I'm so horny!

LadyNovember · 16/09/2014 21:42

Psht, fat chance of me feeling my uterus under the blubber haha you lot must be skinny Minnie's!

Is anyone else's boobs so sore?! literally mine feel like giant bruises attached to my chest Hmm

11+0

cinnamongreyhound · 16/09/2014 21:53

Mine LadyNovember! I need to invest in a sports bra as they are soooo painful when I run :(

OP posts:
Lauren82000 · 16/09/2014 22:03

I sleep on my front mainly can't say my boobs are too sore for that but my tummy is very uncomfortable between feeling like I constantly need to wee even if Ive just been and feeling squished (both boobs n tum) it's not fun but I struggle to get comfy on my side or back. Thought I'd still have time to enjoy front sleeping before bump arrives and makes it impossible but so far not having any luck.
I also can't feel my uterus yet and I'm a super skinny minnie but I am only 8w today so still time yet. Wink

catsofa · 16/09/2014 22:09

I'm outgrowing my sports bras but I don't know what to replace them with, the only place that does measuring in my huge town doesn't go down to size 32 and I flopped around too much in their 34s. Partly the problem is that they hurt so much I can't bear any movement at all, so nothing is likely to be supportive enough. I'm starting to poke out of the top of the ones I have a bit though!

cinnamongreyhound · 16/09/2014 22:19

Fig leaves or bravissimo and order lots of sizes to try?

Lady my bras are getting a bit tight too so I remeasured and I've gone up to a 30FF! What size will they be by the end?

Rustyzilla · 16/09/2014 22:49

ladynovember I'm with you there! Was a 12 before BFP and eating like a starved pig now just look chunky, although my belly is definitely sticking out more! That may just be cake accumulation though... Am actually worried if the scanning person technical term will be able to see baby through my flab! CakeBiscuitBlush

catsofa · 16/09/2014 23:49

I'm only a B or C cup, everything is too big for me. Bravissimo only start at D cups. You wouldn't think it'd be a problem at this size but they're like two sore little grapefruits, I can't imagine the agony of pregnant boobs any bigger!

LadyNovember · 17/09/2014 00:25

Actually laughed out loud at sore little grapefruits! Grin

Sonographer Rusty haha ;) yeah I'm a 14, so kinda already looked 3 months pregnant...can't wait for it to get hard so I can wear anything and not be judged for having a tummy Blush

AuntieVenom · 17/09/2014 05:56

Thank goodness I'm not the only one that's gone off water. I can't stand most drinks at the moment and I'm surviving on tiny sips of milk.
I'm also struggling with all day nausea, even with anti-nausea pills from the doctor, and yucky tastes in my mouth.
God I'm a barrel of laughs!

9+4

BrixtonBunny · 17/09/2014 07:45

I can't see anything belly-wise either, but assuming it's because it's hidden by a nice thick layer of fat Hmm

I do feel like my tummy is sticking out more than usual, but I think it's a permanent food baby due to my constant eating. Feel like I'm going to be a whale by the time baby comes Confused

10+5

Wherediparkmybroom · 17/09/2014 07:53

Well I'm on the wrong bus, it seems dates and clear blue were out the sonogram her says I'm 15+3! I managed to lose 3 weeks.....I thought I was a lot bigger than the last two!

BrixtonBunny · 17/09/2014 08:12

Congrats wheredi! Grin

Wow wheredi!!! How exciting! A bit of a surprise eh? You are definitely allowed a bump!!!

Lauren82000 · 17/09/2014 08:53

Just got to work and I've got a headache Hmm it's my long day today 8.30-6.00 dunno if ill make it. Looks like the worlds already against me: was late setting off so late for work, then get some toast in the cafe at work, take a big bite tastes like mould try not to spew it everywhere and politely take it back to swap it. So not good. Confused I was feeling ok but now can't get the mould taste out if my mouth and the more I think about it the more I want to run to the loo and bring back my unmouldy toast.

Nunkie · 17/09/2014 08:54

Heheh - congrats broom - that must have been a nice surprise/shock! :0D

daholster very sorry to hear about your nan :0( I hope you get to give her your good news - I'm sure it will seep thru on some level even if she looks asleep.
And sorry to hear you lost your nan, neville

Rhiannon for non-vom-inducing snacks... Fish-n-Chips work for me (the crisps, not the actual real ones). Or any salt-and-vinegary crisp.
Crumpets are another good one! (I got that tip from someone on here!)
Generally, sweet stuff makes me feel worse, tho a slightly underripe banana sometimes helps a bit.
Marmite used to work too, til I went off that as well! >:0(

Who's getting hot flushes, still? I'm waking up roasting nearly every morning, even with the window open.
