Hope everything is okay Misty.

How is everyone's sickness? I've noticed the nausea is bad in the morning and evening but ok in the day now. I'm enjoying more normal foods but I can't eat meat-only fish, seafood and veggies. I'm feeling extremely ratty-just like everyone go away and leave me alone. Ridiculously tired. The cat was asleep on my head last night and I didn't care. I wonder if she knows? She is a lovely little Siamese.

BonjourMinou · 10/09/2014 12:18

Hi all

Haven't posted in ages as I've been so tired! My nausea seems to have gone a bit - which is making me worry, but I've got no other cause for concern so I'm trying not to fret too much. Took DD to a baby class this morning and now have a crippling backache from sitting on the floor. Don't know if it's related, probably not... Got another class to take her to this afternoon! More floor time :-/

Hope you've managed to get a scan, Misty and that all is well. Flowers

mswibble · 10/09/2014 12:21

Hugs for misty. I have everything crossed for you x

Im now off work. Self certing for the first week and going back for a proper sick note next week. Felt ridiculous, bursting into tears and blubbing all over the place.
Anyhoo its done, ive emailed my so called managers and im not allowing myself to think of the place anymore.

Mine is definitely better ChickenMe but still there, I don't really want it but it is a bit worrying too!

So sorry to hear that Misty414, glad it's slowed a bit now and that you've got a scan tomorrow.

Really hope that you start to feel better mswibble and that things improve when you go back.

I had my booking bloods done today, just annoys me I have to do a 40mile round trip to have them done!

Fx for your misty, my sickness has eased up a bit. Although I randomly was sick last night, luckily I bring my sick bowl around the house with me haha.

I can cope with this level of nausea and sickness, so I'm hoping it stays this way.

BananaToast · 10/09/2014 15:04

Feeling very guilty reading some of your posts that I haven't been sick at all yet, have the odd wave of nausea if it's been too long since I've eaten, but if I eat every couple of hours I'm generally ok nausea-wise. Feel a bit off constantly, but not like I'm about to throw up. The tiredness on the other hand...

Stuntman · 10/09/2014 15:41

No sickness here either at 7+2 weeks. I don't really understand it because I was sick as a dog in my last four pregnancies. I think it must be some combination of diet and supplements. Actually I feel pretty good, if it wasn't for the tummy I would never think I was pregnant. Last night I did some kettlebells, weight training and pilates then tidied up the kitchen before I went to bed. Every other pregnancy I would have gone to bed straight after dinner at this stage. I'm not complaining, just surprised at the lack of symptoms.

minipie · 10/09/2014 16:00

Hi all

So sorry to hear about your bleeding misty and fingers all crossed for tomorrow's scan. Glad to hear your GP pulled out the stops. Hopefully it will be one of those disappearing haematomas. How many weeks are you now?

My nausea seems to be easing off. Still hungry a lot though! I had booking in yesterday and had to be weighed Shock I am a stone over my normal weight... though it's not all pg gain as I did gain a fair bit pre TTC, I just never weighed myself!

Massive sympathies to those who are properly sick. I feel I've been lucky on that score.

Had a scan yesterday... all looks good Smile

BananaToast · 10/09/2014 16:05

I don't know if anyone else thinks this is a good idea but when I was on a thread for ds2 we used to write how many weeks at the bottom of our posts every so often so we knew how far along each other were.

Good news on scan minipie sorry you got a shock with your weight. Mine just asked me to make are I knew by booking apt.

Thanks misty. I do have pics but at home and on paper and I'm not sure how to upload it looks like half baby half alien Grin

The sonographer did say they are measuring millimetres at this point so it's very hard to be accurate about dates. Hope you are ok tomorrow.

Wherediparkmybroom · 10/09/2014 16:44

Ive just come home to an obstectrics app in six weeks but still no scan date!
12 weeks today! Is this strange or is it just me?

cinnamongreyhound · 10/09/2014 16:48

If you want the nuchal fold scan you need to have one between 11 and 14 weeks Wheredidiparkmybroom, so yes it is unusual I think. Mines at 13wks but I've had the date for ages!

Siarie · 10/09/2014 16:49

My sickness seemed to start fading over the course of about three days. I'm 7 weeks today and If I can be like today on my flight home that will be great. Really will hate it if I'm really sick flying back, can't think of anything worse!

I weighed myself before and wouldn't be surprised if I've lost some weight due to not eating much. But then my bbs are a lot bigger and I'm bloated so maybe that will counter balance it out.

Ho hum, I've been enjoying watching "in the club" but it's finished for now.

Wherediparkmybroom · 10/09/2014 17:03

Thanks cinnamon will text the MW I don't want the screenings but I do need a date as I run my own business and have to arrange cover!

BananaToast · 10/09/2014 17:14

Good suggestion cinnamon I'm always trying to remember who's much further along than me and who isn't.

7+1

mamabear0315 · 10/09/2014 18:10

Glad you got a scan tomorrow Misty! I'll keep you in my thoughts xx
I am also down a bit in weight..but i think thats due to being sooo sick..
tried to get into my GP today to discuss those meds, but she isn't in until tomorrow :( I stopped taking them lastnight..and now ive spent all night and day so far with my head in the toilet..cant even remember the last time ive eaten :( ugggh. I have officially decided I cannot do this again...Ill be content with my two babies if I never have to go through this dreaded sickness again!!! sorry to be so negative..rough day!

Siarie · 10/09/2014 18:15

Ahh mamabear once you feel better you'll think it wasn't so bad. I remember feeling like you a few days ago! I thought i would feel like that forever and just couldn't believe we do this. I think we must be programmed to forget or at least view it differently x

Try and eat as that's just a spiral downwards, an empty stomach makes you feel sick. Even if you really don't want to. The thought repulsed me, I would have crisps or fruit juice to start then usually would feel good enough to get a handle of something down.

healthymama5 · 10/09/2014 19:31

due in april too. wish i was more jolly but i cannot due to my hyperemesis gravidarum....everything smells and makes me ill... my beloved cat, my hubby, food, the smell of my clients (i stopped working) i cannot even take my child to the bathroom without throwing up.....so a trip to emergency with a low bp, plus dehydration was the only way..... the drips combined with zofran helped alot......afraid to go home :(

healthymama5 · 10/09/2014 19:39
