night to you all xo

CornflakeKid · 05/10/2006 07:53

Well - went to bed and pains continued but then .. the farting started and I smelt like a bagdad sewer - hubbie actually opened the bedroom window!!! Pains gone this morning so think may have eaten something dodgy - felt like was going to have diarrheeeeeaaaaaaa (sp!) tmi! Just seem to have stretchy ache which is more normal...

I cried when I read GGF thread - so relieved for you - you must be so proud! You have to tell us when you find out the sex!

Have a good day everyone xxxoooxoxoxoxoox

bubbaOOOOOOO · 05/10/2006 08:01

Liath-Good luck with your scan and anyone else who has their's today too.

Bugmum · 05/10/2006 09:32

GGF - oh, I just cried to hear your wonderful news. Have a marvellous pregnancy now; you deserve it! x

CaptainDippy · 05/10/2006 09:38

Mad day today - DD2 snotty, but ok, DD2 still v.poorly, poor bean - still taken no meds and v.tired and crying lots - trying to eat breakfast atm - had some fluids.

DD2 has Pneumococcal Vac at 11am, I have driving test at 3.07pm (what a strange time!) - DH has loads of work on, but if DD1 can't go to nursery, we're a bit stuck- somewhere in all of this, I need to go and pick up posters I've had laminated for the NCT Nearly New Sale on Sat and out them up all over the place!!!!!!!!?

ARGH!!

geordiemacminx · 05/10/2006 09:45

hensden · 05/10/2006 10:01

Treacletart - so sorry to hear of your loss, a lot of us have been there and know it's an awful sad time, hope you're back soon, take care.

GGF - YIPPEEEE - what a relief it must be for you, let's hope you can sit back and enjoy from now on..

I had my nuchal scan/bloods last Friday and they came up with a risk result of a 15yr old.. Not bad for an oldie. they gave us loads of pics and a dvd including some 4D which was really strange (only had flat scans before) on seeing the 4D pics DH at last realised that ther really is a baby in there and has now stopped moaning at me for being sick and useless..

CD - Good luck with your driving test.

Hugs to all
hensden 13+3

I NEED SUUPORT!!!

We are going out for a meal with dp's friends for a birthday... just found out that the restuarant of choice is Teppanyaki...nope I didnt have a clue either.. its meat or fish or lobster tails or whatever with courgettes (every choice comes with courgettes)... which in itself wouldnt be such a huge problem..BUT...they bring all the sh*t out and cook it at your table.. I CANT EVEN BEAR LOOKING AT FOOD AT THE MOMENT!!!

Plus, its a set meal type thing..£35 for "appetisers of the day", japanese miso soup, your main course and then desert so I wont be able to get away with just eating a little bit..

Feign sickness (iykwim!!? ) - don't go - you'll just have a horrid evening and neither you or DP will enjoy yourselves at all - Wil DP understand if you choose not to go???

I wouldn't go - end of.

[[hugs]] to you honey!!

Greengirlforever · 05/10/2006 11:29

Oh Geordie Mac - normally I loooove Japanese but I see where you're coming from....

Is it a big group of people where your (possibly) odd behaviour will be noticed less or just 2 couples?? Miso soup is usually ok but the rest...

I guess even if you did smoke you're not now, so you can't sneak off to the bar for a ciggie at those vital moments.....

It looks like they may just have to find out hun! Would that be such a bad thing - we're (and I should know!) nearly past the danger zone.......

geordiemacminx · 05/10/2006 11:29

I was kinda looking forward to it... we are supposed to being to the casino afterwards.. plus its a couple that I dont really know very well but would be nice to be friends with.. plus I would feel bad for dp cancelling as we havent been out for ages cos I been so poorly.. I cant even sit in the bar and get hammered!!!

OP posts:
CaptainDippy · 05/10/2006 11:38

Awwww, poor thing! Like GGF said, perhaps you should just "come clean" - no one will mind!!

geordiemacminx · 05/10/2006 11:54

They all know so thats ok... its just I have a tendancy to heave at the slightest smell of food at the moment... No smoking up here in bonny scotland!!!

OP posts:
Greengirlforever · 05/10/2006 12:00

Well if they know, and you really want to go and so on, it will be fine. They will understand when you go for walks during the meal! Or maybe even the whole of the meal and join them after? Just make sure you have something in your stomach before you get there or it could be even worse.....

Sexonlegs · 05/10/2006 12:02

Hi all, so much to catch up on.

Firstly, really sorry to hear your new Treacle; I hope you are taking it easy and getting the love and support you need.

GGF, fabulous news - what a relief for you.

And, welcome Tili - I remember you from the conception threads.

It is reassuring to read that you guys are having crampy pains. I have had them all week, and actually went to the GP yesterday as it is painful isn't it? Didn't get this with dd. I have to give a wee sample to check for infection, but she thinks it is ligament pain. I said I was worried about ectopic pregnancy, as that can cause pain, so she got me up on the bed and we got a heartbeat! I was soooo relieved and pretty emotional.

Anyway, hth as must do some work, but really hope everyone is well.

Big hugs xx

geordiemacminx · 05/10/2006 12:02

I know, I was just having a moan.. and feeling sorry for myself... its cold and miserable up here and I want to be at home..

Smole · 05/10/2006 12:51

I had my nuchal scan today. Everything was normal, however based on just my age and the nuchal fold (2.7mm) my risk of downs is 1:33. Since everything else is normal and this only means a 3% chance of downs, (and since with my history I don't really want an invasive test unless I have to), I think we might wait until the 22 week scan.

geordiemacminx · 05/10/2006 13:15

Smole. Hope everything works out ok for you - I'm sure it will be. 3% is tiny.. although its easy for me to say that.

xxx
