Just Shagging - Thread 11 for Graduated Viroids!

JuniDD · 17/08/2014 06:27

Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 11th grads thread...celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed Grin

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 27th outing.

There is also a Just Mumming thread in postnatal here once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a secret facebook group, if you want to join, ask in-thread.

So, roll call below please, viroids! Smile

Good luck juni, hope all ok.

We used stickers for miniwil's room la from a company called tinyme I think. One of the walls was already painted though which helps. They look great but if you take them off to reposition (or when moving out) they quite often take bits of paint off with them so you might find you would need to end up painting anyway.

Thanks cookie. Think I'm being a total hypochondriac but want to ask midwife for a test.

RPopz · 11/09/2014 17:49

Why do you think you've got it Wil?

Fingers crossed for tomorrow Juni

I've made myself feel sick shouting and stomping at DH again... Sad #hormones

wilmabedrock · 11/09/2014 19:54

Oh no popz! Bloody men!

I think I probably haven't got it but have all symptoms except blurred vision and my mum has it (although type 2 so don't know if that's relevant) so it's just in my head. I would rather find out given all the complications it can cause. Plus my diet is shit. Although I may feel a right dick if it comes back as totally normal.

ZylaB · 11/09/2014 19:58

There's nothing wrong with getting tested wil if it comes back positive you can adjust diet to try and stop baby being too big, if it's clear then all good :)

ZylaB · 11/09/2014 19:59

And if they're funny about testing you, go round your mums, change the needle on her testing kit and do it yourself after not eating over night, then have a sugary drink and do it again about an hour and a half later and see what it says hehe.

wilmabedrock · 11/09/2014 20:16

Haha zyla, you're sneaky. Grin She isn't insulin dependent - just controls with diet and some kind of tablets? As you can tell I know bugger all about it and she has only had it for the last couple of years. She would absolutely never stick a needle in herself, totally faints at the sight of blood Hmm .

It's probably more likely I have the same blood issue I had during last pg, but maybe they can check that too. Thanks zyla. Didn't want to quiz you too much about it as it's probably all in my head and you have to deal with all the crap involved with it for real, all the time.

Good news is I don't feel sick today so not a bug and must just still be getting random pg nausea.

Well that's an awful lot of shit about me. How's everyone else doing?

JuniDD · 11/09/2014 20:24

Aw wil, we love your shit. Thanks

Just had an awesome Sainsers pizza for tea. Hit. The. Spot.

Evening all Smile

I've had lots of drama at work today, though luckily nothing aimed at / to do with me, so it's been mostly just keeping me occupied - 12 more working days til mat leave Shock
Can't wait! Getting so uncomfortable squeezing in and out of the car to drive to work Confused

Juni - sounds rotten Sad I'm ok reclining on sofa and sat up in bed with pillows, but lying down is very uncomfortable indeed. I'll be very sad if lounging on the sofa stops being comfortable too!!

Wil - definitely pester the GP, you know your own body best, so something must be off. Hope you feel better soon!

La - what a big pig! Definitely give him what for - excess boozing whilst your other half is wine deprived is very bad form. He's losing all the man points he got for packing the baby book!

And what's your DH done now Rpopz?!?! Shock

Cookie - can't remember if I saw the good news on this thread or JS thread, but yay for no triple X! You must be thrilled Smile

ZylaB · 11/09/2014 21:02

No wil I mean the little needle pricked thing in her blood monitoring kit? :)

ZylaB · 11/09/2014 21:04

And ask away, anything about it I don't mind :)

Comedy work meeting tomorrow, I'll be like "yes, off with pg complications, no, don't know when I'm back that's up to doctors, they know more than you do..."

What a waste of time lol

ZylaB · 11/09/2014 21:30

Lots of Grats cookie good news :)

wilmabedrock · 11/09/2014 21:59

Can't believe they come to your house zyla. I'd feel that was a bit intrusive. I really don't think she does prick tests. I think she just gets checked by the nurse regularly - it's obviously not that bad although she makes out like she's at death's door whilst scoffing cake. Weird thing is she's super skinny and really active - not the likeliest candidate for type 2.

Ooh yes popz, spill the beans. What has Mr Popz been up to?

ZylaB · 11/09/2014 22:33

They won't be here long wil cos I haven't got much to say to them except what I posted above heh :)

Pisghetti · 11/09/2014 23:01

I guess they have to come round to check you're not just getting sick notes so you can practice a bit of bricklaying in the garden?

Totally on board with the strop fest. Had a big whinge to DP today which is a little unfair as he's stuck between a rock and my hard face a hard place. And he's being a total bastard by being reasonable which is not the way to let your stroppy girlfriend let off steam.

cookielove · 11/09/2014 23:05

I can't remember if I put the triple x thing in here ir not but yay for him being free of it and thank you! :)

Tiredness makes me forgetful. And can't be arsed to scroll back.

wil nag your midwife or gp for a gtt referral doesn't hurt to be checked!

RPopz · 12/09/2014 00:09

No harm in asking then Wil. Its not an expensive/ difficult test. Not for them anyway. Fingers crossed all is fine Smile My Dad has type 2 - and my biscuit consumption is somewhat excessive... I keep joking I'll get gd, but its not very funny really!

Ooh yeah congrats Cookie - I saw that earlier Smile Not gonna lie, I have no effing clue who anyone on the jsers Fred is anymore!!

Ah I dunno it Mr P is being an ass or I'm just turbo hormonal/ moody! We just went to the arena to see Lee Evans and I shouted at a boy on the food stand, a steward and an annoying chatty drunk couple sat by us!!

Something and nothing with DH earlier. We had a new carpet fitted this aft - so had to move the cat litter tray while that was going on. He put it in the cellar and then didn't bother to get it back out again for hours...even after feeding the cat. She is old and unreliable toilet wise as it is so didn't want her going upstairs and shitting on the brand new carpet, as that bedroom is her inappropriate toiletting ground of choice.... So I went schiz at him. Probably excessively. Sad

RPopz · 12/09/2014 00:12

Plus he decided to inform me on holiday that he's going out all day and evening on Sunday (last day of our holiday together). He reckons he told me ages ago and I agreed to it... can't see it meself. I want him to cancel but I don't know AIBU!

wilmabedrock · 12/09/2014 07:37

Where is he going popz? You might be being a little unreasonable although if it's an all day bender, I totally get your point. probably because I would love to go on an all day bender about now.

wilmabedrock · 12/09/2014 07:39

Also, why did you shout at the randoms? Grin Other than the chatty couple as that seems obvious.

laurenamium · 12/09/2014 07:55

What's the purpose of his outing rpopz? And did you have anything planned for the two of you to do together?

DP got in trouble too last night! We can't have sex until after next weekend after the spotting incident the other week- GP said to wait until after scan Hmm so DP got in trouble last night for not even trying it on Grin I admit I'm hormonal. I even said "are you not attracted to me anymore" it's okay I've handed myself a BiscuitBlush

laurenamium · 12/09/2014 07:56

Oh and good luck today Zyla! I hope it's not too awful!

Pisghetti · 12/09/2014 08:26

Hope it goes ok today Zyla

Wow Popz that's some serious rage! Tiptoes away from the crazy lady

I've got a stupid question - did the crampy womb feeling carry on for you? I expected it to have stopped by now but I'm definitely still getting a lot of twinges.

Leela5 · 12/09/2014 09:13

Morning viroids! How are you all?

I've got no symptoms at all. None. Cramps gone, boobs only sore if I grope. Kind of want to start getting nausea or something just to let me know bean's still there. I do need to pee lots but I'm drinking loads of water to stave off dehydration. Loving hols but kind of wishing I could fast forward to my midwife appt so they can check me.

wil I hope they can help at next appt to stop you worrying about gb and put your mind at rest.

popz you sound like me - when I'm hormonal I can kick off spectacularly. You have a lot going on, don't beat yourself up. Growing a wee one is hard bloody work and it's bound to feel too much sometimes.

Shouting at randoms sounds interesting - do tell?

Him going out - is it something you would've liked to go to? Or is it something he would normally do and you wouldn't mind?

Chatty couple - shout away! I love a good rant at random folk.

zyla hope your meeting goes ok today.

gaggia should be across here soon she got bfp.

Mr La was a well behaved angel last night, drank just enough for holiday but no drunkenness. Love him.

I'm getting a bit crotchety and it's unfair and rubbish of me but I can tell you guys coz you don't mind. My sil is an angel, she's lovely and sweet and adores my bro. But she keeps saying that I'm 'knocked up' so can't have this or I'm 'knocked up' so this that and the other. It's upsetting me at bit. I love our term on here of 'upduffed' coz it's funny but 'knocked up' sounds like it's not a good thing and I've started thinking of bean as 'having a baby' and I'm dead excited! I want to be excited, not look at it negatively. I think she's a bit sad as they'd like kids but haven't started trying (they live in diff countries til visas are sorted). I know she's not doing it deliberately but it feels dismissive and a bit seedy, like I'm a 14 yr old girl rather than a 34 year old woman who planned a family. Also they keep going on about us coming places with them next year, really cool places. Again it's kind of her but we're having a baby and it's not possible for us to do any of these things with a new baby. I'm kind of looking forward to it just being me and Mr La again so we can get excited.

I think I just want scan to get here fast and that's what's bothering me.

wilmabedrock · 12/09/2014 09:15

I would say I get more ligament pain than crampy womb now pis. How many weeks are you though?

Haha lauren, your poor DH. Grin

wilmabedrock · 12/09/2014 09:21

Smile and nod Lala. She doesn't mean it negatively. When it comes to trips, they probably wouldn't want a baby tagging along any more than you'd want to go on them with a baby so it'll all come to nothing. Just say 'that sounds lovely' and be non-commital.
