Just Shagging - Thread 11 for Graduated Viroids!

JuniDD · 17/08/2014 06:27

Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 11th grads thread...celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed Grin

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 27th outing.

There is also a Just Mumming thread in postnatal here once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a secret facebook group, if you want to join, ask in-thread.

So, roll call below please, viroids! Smile

Well we're on kind of a tight schedule... the room was plastered at the end of the week. We need to paint it before we go on holiday tomorrow as we're having a new carpet fitted the day after we get back off holiday so obvs want the paint to be dry by then... I asked DH to empty said bedroom approx 6 months ago... and was assured it had been done (it hadn't). Knowing all this he still decided the best use of his time all day yesterday and most of this morning was defragging his pc's hard drive Angry Cue hysterical screaming this morning while he's pissing around moving shit I asked him to move months ago and I'm trying to paint round him. It's a 20ft room and I've painted majority of it single handedly this morning. It's going to need about 3 more coats.... Angry My tummy hurts Sad It honestly took all my will power not to punch him in the face!!!!

JuniDD · 01/09/2014 12:51

Just punch him popz. With a hammer. Good luck with the room.

I just nearly fainted in my mum's car which was interesting. All ok now. Twisty turny multi storey car parks are No Fun.

Ooooh no. Yak. Travel sickness is a bitch!

wilmabedrock · 01/09/2014 13:22

Have you asked the midwife about this fainting malarkey juni? Pissing myself at punch him with a hammer. At the risk of adding to your annoyance popz, how do you de-frag a laptop? Mine is running stupidly slow...

Had an awful sleep last night so stupidly tired. Also have no idea where my notes are. You'd think something that size would be hard to lose.

Nessalina · 01/09/2014 13:28

Popz - you have every right to kill him in the most painful way possible. No jury in the land would convict you!!

Me & DH have just survived a full hour of sorting through donated baby clothes without killing each other - quite impressive I'd say! Time for some lunch Smile

laurenamium · 01/09/2014 13:30

Grin At punch him with a hammer!

Good luck today will!

ZylaB · 01/09/2014 14:13

I love this thread!

Good luck painting rpopz

wilmabedrock · 01/09/2014 14:16

Ness you got your dh to help sort through baby clothes?! What kind of witchcraft is this? I have bags and bags of MiniWil's stuff to sort out and totally can't face it.

wilmabedrock · 01/09/2014 14:17

Obviously meant to say thank you for all good luck messages. I clearly have been dragged up with no manners.

RPopz · 01/09/2014 14:21

There is a hammer upstairs... this could work! Seriously, I'm actually on the verge of kicking him out! What kind of man lets his 6 months pregnant wife single handedly decorate a massive room!! He's just fucked off to Tesco for an hour now... cos a ham sandwich is totally going to pacify me... Hmm

My poor little dog is cowering in the garden, probably thinks I'm mad with him too. And he's off in kennels for a week tomorrow Sad Sad Sad

#hormonal

Nessalina · 01/09/2014 15:47

Sorry Rpopz but he sounds like a first class wankbadger. There is no way you'd catch me painting a bloody room!!
To be fair, my DH isn't working, so I've made it very clear that he needs to pull his weight round the house, and luckily he's on board with that. But if he's working, then it sounds like his priorities for what he does in his free time are not the same as yours Hmm Stay mad and get even!!

JuniDD · 01/09/2014 15:59

See, some cranial recalibration with a hammer would be just the trick.

Massive shopping trip is complete and I think I'm READY FOR THE BABY. Shock Well, nowhere for it to sleep, but hey, we have plenty of boxes/drawers. Wink

Whoop whoop! Go Juni! Grin
Me & DH are currently putting up a blind in the baby's room. It is a comedy of errors Confused I measured from the wrong place so now he's drilled holes in the wrong bit of wall Grin #fail

ZylaB · 01/09/2014 16:31

Good work juni!

rpopz just tell him in a very calm voice the consequences if he doesn't get things done! you know, the hammer, the saw and the patio??

ZylaB · 01/09/2014 16:32

ness that sounds like my measuring! I'm only a physics/maths teacher and I always seem to measure wrong! hides in shame

Pisghetti · 01/09/2014 16:41

Good luck Wil

I have my dating scan on Thursday. Feeling quite excited. If all is well I can start telling people. Timing is good as we're off to see DP's parents next weekend Smile

wilmabedrock · 01/09/2014 16:55

Haha we must sound like a right bunch of psychos!

Hope you're ok Popz Thanks . I probably would have got away with not painting during first pg, but second time round noone gives a shit! Am sure MrWil would quite happily have me up a ladder cleaning gutters if I wasn't too lazy to do such a thing. He has at some point uttered the immortal phrase "you're not sick, you're pregnant" Angry .

Has anyone else had a 22 week appointment? That's when my next one is booked in for and I had thought it should be 24 weeks? Oh and should say all was fine at the scan Smile .

JuniDD · 01/09/2014 17:12

Yay for good scan wil. Smile

Btw, Debenhams have a luggage sale on and I got two really nice bags for CHEAP. Hurrah!

OP posts:
Nessalina · 01/09/2014 17:15

Hurrah! Glad scan was good!
I can't remember if we had a 22week appt... checks
We're having 31 (tomorrow), and we've had 18, 25, & 28 weeks. Not sure why the long gap between 18 & 25, but we had our scan in that time...

JuniDD · 01/09/2014 17:21

Oh, same appointment schedule here. Do you have a flowchart in the front of your notes? Maybe it's your health trust, they like to see you lots?

OP posts:
wilmabedrock · 01/09/2014 17:42

The scan woman said 24 weeks to me but when I checked my appointment it is for 2 weeks time. Maybe it's a mistake, my midwife is a bit scatty. I can phone to check I guess. I had 8 wk, 13 wk, 16 wk, 20 wk and so assumed 24 would be next. Don't suppose it matters. Thanks. Juni you have been giving the impression of late that you're a bit of a shopaholic! Grin

JuniDD · 01/09/2014 17:47

I am a complete shopaholic! (not Becky Bloomwood style though, no crazy debts here). Seriously if I talk about shopping next week whup my butt and send me to a museum.

Baby has been a bit quiet today, but have had some movements...not sure whether to call midwife tomorrow to get checked over or not? I feel like things are ok, but how would I know? Even my cats are sleepy which is a bit weird!

OP posts:
ZylaB · 01/09/2014 17:48

Glad it's all good wil :)

Good luck for Thursday pis

wilmabedrock · 01/09/2014 18:09

Can you get some quiet time juni? Lie down and count the kicks. You should get 10 movements within 2 hours. If not, I would definitely call mw - not because it means something is definitely wrong but because it's always better to be on the safe side. They take foetal movement at your stage really seriously so won't think you're being a drama queen or anything.

laurenamium · 01/09/2014 18:20

Evening you bunch of crazies Grin good to see rpopz DP isn't under the patio yet! Or homeless!

I've just had a takeaway and I'm regretting it already. I have no sickness at all...until I eat greasy food. Because I don't eat anything greasy very often I forget Hmm I need to pin a notice on the fridge or something Confused

Definitely go for a lie down juni! I wish I knew about the importance of foetal movement when I was pg with DD, for some reason that just totally passed me by Blush
