OMG THE CUTENESS.

I can't tell if I'll die from cute, or just go bankrupt. Most likely both.

Welcome Rose!

Enjoy your double Friday night madness Chinese! Wink

RPopz · 14/08/2014 22:05

Haha Henrietta! My local geography is not that good but I've narrowed it down to two Wink

Argh how exciting - I might see you there some time then! Shock

Rum they are too cute... Almost too nice for a child!!

HenriettaTurkey · 14/08/2014 22:16

Ha - Rpopz, it's not Scunthorpe!! It begins with the usual name for a gentleman's, erm, 'member'!

I've just looked up that antenatal session and it looks like my old next door neighbour runs it! (or at least did in 2013).

Would be great to run into you there, if you end up at any! I'll let you know if I end up there too... :)

KateTheHuman · 15/08/2014 06:37

Hello all. I've just stumbled across this thread and hope it's ok if I join you?

I'm 41 and currently at 18+1 with hopefully DC2. (DD1 is an adorable 25 month old). I had a mc at 12weeks last September, and have had a bumpy ride so far this time with a couple of bleeds and an initial misdiagnosis of an anembryonic pregnancy, but since 12 weeks, things have been a bit smoother!

I have a massive fibroid which is making my tummy measure 30 weeks at the moment, so I actually look like I'm close to dropping although I'm not yet halfway through.
Apart from being constantly tired, (I guess because I'm so big), I'm starting to believe that I may actually have another little person in my arms come mid-Jan!

I thought I should look for a proper ante-natal thread now...so here I am. Will you have me?Wink X

sunshineandbiscuits · 15/08/2014 08:09

Hello and welcome joosie! New folk are always welcome here Grin

Good luck kate and rpopz. My scan is on Monday. Getting a bit scanxious now but also excited! We are going to find out the sex, can't wait hehe. Am surprised/impressed by how many of you ladies have the patience to wait.

Happy Friday everyone Smile

rumisyum · 15/08/2014 08:42

Good luck scan ladies! Can't wait for the reports on these Jan Bus baybeez later. Smile

Welcome Joosie! Oof, that does sound like you've had a worrying 1st trimester - so glad you're here with us now. And I hope that fibroid isn't going to cause you any more trouble? I have a few so have been referred to the consultants for monitoring, but thankfully mine don't seem to be growing. One that size sounds tough! Did it cause any problems with your previous birth? (Sorry for the 20 questions. Wink )

18+2 and it's all starting to feel a bit heavy down there. < does kegels >

KateTheHuman · 15/08/2014 08:44

Hello Josie and welcome!! I hope you love it here as much as I do!!

Thanks Sunshine! I'm looking forward to guessing the gender from the scan pics! I can wait but it's fun guessing. :)

KateTheHuman · 15/08/2014 08:45

Thanks Rum! Ooh kegels! < joins in >

blizy · 15/08/2014 08:57

Good luck for the scans today ladies!

Pesto11 · 15/08/2014 09:03

Good luck with your scans today!

I woke up to go to the loo at 4 and have been in a panic since that everything has gone 'quiet and light' can't feel a thing
For the past few weeks I've been feeling heavy, feeling fluttery kicks(?) but I woke up in a mad panic that all had stopped
I feel as light as a feather... So strange
I've had no sickness, no bleeding etc all pregnancy and seriously stressed myself out within a few hours and rang the midwife who calmly told me to calm down!
Aaaghhhh

madrigals In my head I know I need to calm down. But for 20 weeks now I've been questioning every twinge in my tummy or below! Feel so close (even tho it's only half way) yet so far
My mum had a still birth and I just had that going round my head this morning! Did not help!
Need to just have faith and seriously distract myself today!
Only a few nights ago I couldn't sleep because of 'kicks' and twinges and now there aren't any it causes me to stress! Like other posters have said before -January really can't come soon enough- just want to hold this baby in my arms!
(Eaten way too many chocolate biscuits before 9.30!)

I meant Joosie not Josie
