The lady that did my scan yesterday said she thinks I'm 8 1/2 weeks instead of 9 though she couldn't be sure due to it playing hide & seek Grin

Dp started crying when he saw the screen which made me laugh as he isn't one for crying at all .

I still don't believe it's real though Confused.

KeeperOfTheZoo · 15/08/2014 11:36

eatscake it's difficult with having my 2 yr old to entertain. I will try to have an hour of at least resting on the sofa (no doubt while he watches Cars for the hundredth time bless him).

I know I'm late onto the whole sling/double buggy bandwagon but I think we'll go down the buggy board route as DS will be 2 yrs 9 months when this one arrives. He only tends to go in the buggy now if we're going into town to wander round the shops - for daily dog walks etc he insists on walking (and of course he has to hold the dog as well, I'm not allowed to help at all, which is very cute!)

eatscakefornoreasonwhatsoever · 15/08/2014 11:50

Can you put him in his room with an audio story for quiet time or would he just let himself out?

Safra72 · 15/08/2014 17:24

I'm trying very hard to not buy anything yet (bought an "I'm gonna be a big brother" Tshirt at 6 weeks and mc'd at 9 weeks in feb - and so felt stupidly like i'd jinxed it -ridiculous I know!!!) BUT Moby wraps are available from around £20 on eBay.

I want one!! Yet I know they will still be there in two weeks!

11 days to scan date!!

Btw - when we run out of space and need a new thread can whoever does it put the link to the list on that opening post?

Oh and who do I email re the Facebook page?

M27J5M · 15/08/2014 17:46

I'm the same safra, I had to stop myself from buying tiny little vests this morning! I resisted till I go for scan next week Smile if you on your email address I'll send invite to fb group

coastergirl · 15/08/2014 18:05

I am desperate to buy things, even just something basic for the baby. I don't believe in jinxing things, and my hubby believes even less, so I know he's just being a scrooge not letting me lol.

I'm getting by, by making lists of everything I want to buy and everything I want to do to the house before March!

M27J5M · 15/08/2014 18:11

Yeah toast that would be great actually :)

M27J5M · 15/08/2014 18:25

PickledPorcupine · 16/08/2014 00:00

Rainbow Random question. Can you recommend a ferry company for taking our campervan from the north to south?

(Sorry for going completely off topic everyone else)

Safra72 · 16/08/2014 00:04

Oh will that work..... m27 can u pm me so I can reply? I rarely get on a PC....

Safra72 · 16/08/2014 00:09

To pm someone, I've just discovered, go to the top of the page and click on inbox. You will then get a box there somewhere for +new message.

You will need to put in m27j5m username hut should be able to do it from phone.

Xx

Rainbow555 · 16/08/2014 03:01

Hi pickled there is two companies the inter islander and blue bridge. Doesn't really matter which one, I choose based in sailing times and which is cheapest at the time! One tip is that they do book up quickly at peak times like summer(dec-February) and easter etc.

When are you touring? I loved our camper van trip around SI so much fun!

eatscakefornoreasonwhatsoever · 16/08/2014 06:12

Ugh. Had a horrible dream - like a episode of Criminal Minds. Woke up terrified at 4.30 and couldn't get back to sleep. Sigh.

PickledPorcupine · 16/08/2014 06:48

Thanks Rainbow. We're there in October but I'm still going to book so we get the time we want. So excited Grin
