Good morning all Smile hope every1 is doing well this morning! I'm a tired little lady thanks to the idiot pressing the buzzer at 3.30am, put mine on silent but could hear the rest if buzzers going elsewhere in building! I never really got back to sleep Sad

I'm not sure whether to worry or not but I have really bad shooting pains in the back of my neck , I haven't slept funny & I have never had this before

M27J5M · 11/08/2014 09:55

Why don't you phone docs to speak to some1 or pop in to chemist? They may be able to give you something for it or at least put your mind at ease

That moment when you hurry gagging to the loo at work - to be faced with a pebble dashed bowl Envy < vom face not envy!

Some people are rank.

NotAQueef · 11/08/2014 10:02

Ah that's good new Durham. Fingers crossed you continue to feel better and get home today

persepolis123 · 11/08/2014 10:04

panda perhaps give the midwife a quick call? It may be totally unrelated but I would ask anyway if it were me.

durham that's good news. Hopefully you will be home soon.

After initially working my medication for morning sickness doesn't seem to be having the same effect. I have felt quite ill over the weekend. Probably not helped by the fact I have caught a stinking cold from DS.

MyPandaisasecretmonster · 11/08/2014 10:07

I don't have a midwife yet , I'll call in to a chemist today while out Smile.

Butterpuff · 11/08/2014 10:10

Morning All,

Glad to hear your feeling a little better Durham fingers crossed you continue to improve and can go home. Sounds like you have had a really dreadful time.

Sorry Panda I cant help I'm afraid, I get a lot of neck pains but ache not shooting (think its arthritis) a massage from DH usually helps. Hope it goes away soon.

To those will more experience than me. Can you buy pretty dresses (wedding/Christmas party suitable) that will look good with just a bit of bloat and carry you all the way through to about to pop and post baby not quite lost the bump yet?

Thanks

KeeperOfTheZoo · 11/08/2014 10:13

Durham hope you get home soon and continue to improve. I think I have no reason to moan now after what you've been through.

Brummiegirl15 · 11/08/2014 10:33

Oh Durham hope you feel a bit better soon!

I'm finding my more fitted clothes are a bit snug now. And a pair of jeans that are quite low rise are uncomfy but a pair of jeans that are cut a bit higher are more comfy.

Had a peek at maternity wear in H&M and New Look at the weekend. Dreadful selection. Made me want to cry

DurhamRed · 11/08/2014 10:40

Ok, spoke too soon. Had breakfast with oral anti sickness tablet...threw it all up 30 mins later, looks like I'm in for another night :-(

persepolis123 · 11/08/2014 10:46

Last time around I found a few nice tops in New Look but the maternity section is very limited. A lot of shops only do their maternity clothes online now as well which is a PITA. I don’t understand why. Isabella Oliver do some nice things but it’s a bit out of my price range unfortunately.

ELA88 · 11/08/2014 11:09

I am up, showered, dressed and fed before 11am! I am on a roll this morning! The first morning in about 2 weeks where I haven't been sick or sat on the toilet floor for an extended amount of time! I'm hoping it lasts! Will make going back to work a bit easier if I actually feel human! Xxx

pandadragon · 11/08/2014 11:25

Hi everybody
Had booking in today went all good but from my letter I thought I would make the 12 week scan today while I was there!
Nope have to wait for it to come in the post jez really thought get scan appt today as this week I'll be 11weeks so hopefully it be soon
Lol! Still not sinking in that I'm pregnant don't think it will till the scan

coastergirl · 11/08/2014 11:51

Oh Durham I'm sorry you're still being sick. Get well soon.

The dizziness is getting me. Keep feeling like I'm going to pass out!

eatscakefornoreasonwhatsoever · 11/08/2014 11:54

new look and ASOS have some really nice maternity gear at the moment.

I've lost heaps of weight recently due to the ms but this morning suddenly I have a bump. Like overnight my wobbly tummy has reorganised itself into a bump. Odd. Luckily the weight loss should help disguise it for a bit but dh and I both noticed

diggerdigsdogs · 11/08/2014 12:10

Asos maternity and h&m maternity are good. I wore h&m maternity jeans in both my previous pgs.

Babeswithbabies.com is BRILLIANT for evening do dresses.

FoscarC · 11/08/2014 12:25

I look pregnant. Definitely now. A lady I work with said it today. Apparently I am glowing and have a bump. Oh dear. 1 week to push until scan. I can't do up my work trousers anymore. I am sure I shouldn't be showing at 11 weeks. Can't wait to buy maternity clothes. Have refused to until
After scan in case there is no baby in there. I had my birthday last month and have managed to delay getting presents from family saying that I don't know what I want, but as soon as I've had scan I can tell them the news and get them to buy me some maternity clothes. I can not wait!!

persepolis123 · 11/08/2014 12:30

I'm starting to get a bump too at 8 bloody weeks. I didn't have one until about 4 months last time and even then it was tiny. Have a feeling I'm going to be massive pretty soon.

HollyBen · 11/08/2014 12:35

Last time I got most of my mat wear from Mothercare as they had loads of stuff in store. Buying online is a massive pain as you can never be sure of fit. I did get a few bits in h&m and from M&S. And will probably have loads of other stuff when I am brave enough to dig it out.
Therevis a shop near me that does pre-loved handbags and mat wear. Which tends to be occasion wear more than everyday

PickledPorcupine · 11/08/2014 12:53

I'm definitely showing at only 9 weeks. My mum's friends didn't notice she was pregnant with my younger brother until she was 25+ weeks!!! She thinks it's quads or more!

Primark jersey maxi skirts are my saviour at the moment, I recommend them as they'll sit under or over bump. I'm also holding off on buying any mat clothes until after the scan.

hyperspacebug · 11/08/2014 14:22

I'm definitely more flabby and bloated. I never have that cute 'pouch' anyway (and I'm size 12) I wore maternity trousers at 9wks last time with #2, bloat was too much for normal jeans.

~7wks

eatscakefornoreasonwhatsoever · 11/08/2014 14:23

I'm just 9 weeks

M27J5M · 11/08/2014 14:52

I had to go buy new clothes 2 weeks ago, can't win tho cos bigger size trousers fit waist but are too big elsewhere! I'm not buying mat clothes yet but will resort to leggings etc till I grow more!
