Kent I had the same concerns in my first pregnancy.
My booking in appt and all "procedures" around pregnancy care were completely chaotic to the point I was in tears with worry over what to expect and who could help me.
I went to see a very kind female doctor for results and check at 16weeks and she was the first person who actually asked how I was feeling. I told her everything including that we were debating going private (in London) because I felt like there was no support at the surgery, in fact, they had left me feeling worse than before I'd gone in.
She immediately empathised and referred me instead to another practice which had the one on one midwife system and I had the most kind, caring, supportive and attentive round midwife I could ever have hoped for throughout and after my pregnancy. The only reason she wasn't at my birth was because they were a midwife down the night ds arrived.
Moral of the story, if you're unhappy or worried, don't be afraid to say so. If you don't ask, you don't get (and someone else will).
