Chipandspuds · 04/08/2014 21:35

So sorry to hear your news miraculous thinking of you.

Littlebear81 · 04/08/2014 23:19

So sorry to hear your news miraculous. It seems so unfair. Feel free to stay here as long as you want and to vent to us anytime you need to. Hope you and your DH have plenty of support from friends and family. Please let us know how you are when you feel ready to. xx

BigHairyLeggedSpider · 05/08/2014 07:09

Having a resurrection of nausea this morning, along with some massive kicking. Still not back at work though. Scared my jobs at risk. :(

Ladylel · 05/08/2014 08:46

Off for scan number 4 today to check on the growth of Ernie. I don't think I've ever willed for so much in my life!
I don't start to 'worry' until the day but i want to say I am quietly confident. Especially as the rib ache, as much as it pains me, makes me think he's still there getting bigger!

23 weeks on the nose!

Good luck today people.

Still thinking of you miraculous Flowers

I woke up in the night with horrendous rib and upper back pain. The bra situation is getting desperate now :(
There's a child screeching in a garden nearby and it's making me disproportionately angry because I'm off work and want to lie in for a bit. Hmph.

CatFaceCrayola · 05/08/2014 09:15

Hope it goes well Ladylel

I really struggled to get to sleep last night as Bubble was having a disco in there. Sometimes I really like feeling "kicks" but sometimes it really weirds me out and makes me feel a bit ick. Does anyone else?

am going to investigate a yoga class this morning. It's an hour and a half though, seems rather long

22+2 (all the 2s)

CatFaceCrayola · 05/08/2014 09:17

peace I'm feeling similarly angry Towards next doors dog. Never again will I get to have a peaceful lie in :(

Got the forms from Environmental Health to fill in yesterday. Yes, I'm afraid I've become one of THOSE neighbours :/

Ladylel · 05/08/2014 09:21

I feel the same catface when they're on the move sometimes (most the time) I smile to myself, other times I think omg this is so cringy lol

I have been struggling lately, getting up from chairs or bed, bending over etc, all ending with me making some kinda groaning noise. Delightful.

Toilet situation improved from yesterday, must have been something I ate, but my urge for a pee every 15 minutes has come back. Also finding I'm swelling up a lot more too (feet, fingers) towards end of the day mainly, I wear fitflops for the ease but even these now get their tight moments. There are no winners here haha

OP posts:
CatFaceCrayola · 05/08/2014 09:31

I do a lot of groaning whilst trying to stand up etc.

And I'm glad it's not just me that feels the need to pee all the pigging time!

BigHairyLeggedSpider · 05/08/2014 09:41

Pee? Call these unsatisfactory thimble-wees peeing? Sad I miss big wees! Grin

BigHairyLeggedSpider · 05/08/2014 09:42

Yes yes to the groaning. And the feeling slightly turtled in bed. Turning over can no longer be done in one smooth movement. More like a series of turns!

Peaceloveandbiscuits · 05/08/2014 09:43

The neighbour with the screeching children is a childminder, and I think she puts them outside to shriek, then brings them back in! Good tactic, but not from my perspective Hmm
Resisting the urge to shout STFU from the window. Oh it's going to be a good day...

I feel really ick when the baby moves, but I've never been keen on insides and bodies and the way they work. Although I still get concerned when I don't feel it for a few days; when it does start up, I just get annoyed or grossed out.

I would like DH to wake up and make me breakfast and tell me I can lie on the sofa all day doing fuck all. Not going to happen.

Peaceloveandbiscuits · 05/08/2014 09:44

Oh yes and I'm weeing every damn hour, and they ARE big wees. It's getting on my nerves!

BigHairyLeggedSpider · 05/08/2014 10:13

Peace I have big wee envyEnvy

Ladylel · 05/08/2014 12:10

I also have wee envy. The urge feels greater than the actual activity. Thimble wees is definately accurate.

Well scan results are a bit double edged sword - there's good news then there's news that isn't good then there is bad worst case news.
Good news: Bert is perfect in everyway. Ernie is also perfect but just small.
Isn't so good news: Ernies placenta is small. Perfect for Ernie he knows no different however could lead to complications as it's already showing signs of blood flow being a bit not 'normal' but isn't concerning yet.
Bad news: if Ernies placenta gives up the ghost or shows signs of not doing the job it should be doing it means early delivery for both babies regardless.
Worst case: Bert and Ernie could both be here by the end of August. 3 months early.
Best case: Ernies placenta keeps going and I could be more on the verge of 30 weeks before their grand arrival which is start of October.

Wow lots of information sorta in a funk.

Ladylel good news about your babies growing well Smile how often are they gonna scan you to check on the placentas?

DrewsWife · 05/08/2014 12:36

Lady try not to panic x. We know how stressy it can be. Baby care is an amazing place and in the event of early arrival they will be well looked after.

Ps love the names!!!

DrewsWife · 05/08/2014 12:44

Miss Spider. They cannot fire you for pregnancy related absence. Breathe xx

Ladylel · 05/08/2014 13:48

I agree with drew they can't do anything to you for being pregnant it's like a safe place, they can't touch you and if they do they are in some sorta of violation of rights.

I'm not panicking as such I think I am more concerned about the whole labour thing. It's just a lot of overwhelming news and Info to take in.

I have to have scans every 2 weeks ATM and if things change maybe weekly. Going to have shares in the princess anne at this rate for parking!

The % they gave us for survival are frightening as well - I've got to remember it is only worse case but I still can't get my head around the possibility. I've come In to work so I could focus on something else other than this news but it's all I can think about. Funnily enough they haven't stopped moving since I've got back to my desk lol!

Also my blood pressure is 112/85 which for someone who's been given some fairly stress making news is fantastic :)

They always give the worst rates possible. Keep breathing!!!

Omg at Leaking waters. That would in nerve me.

My hip problems are going away. Then coming back. I can feel crunching. I can't leave house without crutches and I'm mortified at using them. I'm on codeine 4 times a day. Grrrrrr.

I am back at work tonight at 6. Not looking forward to it at all.

I'm loving my bump. 20 week scan went well. Baby was hiding so thankfully we couldn't get gender. Phew!!! I did eventually relent. But also meant I couldn't see their face. :(. I really wanted to see what they looked like.

SassehMonsta · 05/08/2014 14:19

Strong bump pain down one side for last 2 hours. Cant get comfy or concentrate so taken afternoon off work. Tried eating, peeing, pooing, walking, lying down, sitting down, stretching and.even.some dancing. Owwww.

Also big wees, grunting when I bend down and rolling over in stages here as well.

Peaceloveandbiscuits · 05/08/2014 14:55

I went into work and told my voluntary deputy that I'd be leaving in November :( he was disappointed I think, but congratulatory. They've had so many managers at this shop I really wanted to stay for a good long while and give them some stability. I get on so well with my deputy too, I feel a bit sad now! But hey it's out in the open!

Treaclepie19 · 05/08/2014 15:54

Hi all, don't know if any of you will remember me but wanted to jump on and check on you all.
So nice to read how many of you are having a happy and healthy pregnancy :)
