So jealous of you all curled up indoors. I'm on the train back from Birmingham, three more hours to go. It's super busy and I'm not dealing with the constant chatterHmm

Woke up about 3.30am - dodgy air con in the room and I was shaking uncontrollably. Bump is swollen on the side where the scope went in and sore all over. I have a shitty headache. I had palpitations about six times between the hotel and the train platform - standing up seems to be enough to cause it. I'm permanently close to tears...

Cannot WAIT to get home and let the bed rest commence!

Sorry - whinge! Positive - Mum and Dad coming over later and will bring us anything we need, don't have to go shopping for the essentials when we get back. Straight to bed Smile

Peaceloveandbiscuits · 02/08/2014 12:51

Ah miraculous I assumed you'd be staying in hospital over the weekend! Take it very very easy getting home!

oohdaddypig · 02/08/2014 12:54

miraculous I'm not surprised - what a rollercoaster of emotions. Collapse into bed and rest.... Are there Commonwealth Games spectators everywhere??

For the first time in years I'm still in pyjamas. One DD snuggled in arms and the other next to me as we watch Tangled. I'm bust - I'm rarely like this so hoping not another bug....

Somersetgirl1990 · 02/08/2014 13:17

Hannie I'm getting the bebecar stylo! Absolutely love it! Grin

Miraculous how long are you on bed rest for? Hope you've got some good books and boxsets to keep you entertained!!

hanniebabes3 · 02/08/2014 13:49

Love the stylo somerset just a bit to big for my matchbox on wheels haha!! X

ImBrian · 02/08/2014 15:43

I've just got back from a week camping in Scotland and I'm knackered. Today has been spent on the sofa with the odd trip to the washing machine.
Bump feels like something's trying to burst out of it, had a few kicks high up by belly button but mostly down low still or to the side. They seem a lot stronger then at this point with previous babies but I might just be forgetting!

23+3

miraculous2 · 02/08/2014 16:09

Ah, at last I'm home, pj's and bed within seconds. Yes, Glasgow's still nuts with the Commie Games crowds. I'll miss all this buzz when it's gone and it's a shame I have to avoid the last of it. It's been a good time here.

Lots of stabby bump pains and some bonus stabby tit pain that made me cry on the train. Lucky me.

Bring on the mum and dad cuddles (I tend to regress when I feel this shitty!) and then the sleep of the dead interspersed with Netflix episodes back to back. Recommendations welcome, but I can't cope with gore of any kind or much violence (see my total meltdown last night when DH changed the movie on the hotel tv - cannot erase those images). Bed rest/ minimal activity at least until Tuesday.

Enjoy your nesting, resting, etc! Smile

miraculous2 · 02/08/2014 16:14

ImBrian, where did you go camping? I love camping and I'm so jealous! Smile

Ladylel · 02/08/2014 16:46

miraculous you take it easy and let mummy and daddy look after you :) since I've moved back home my OH is shocked how many times I go 'mummmm...' Altho it's my dad that runs around and does all the cooking hence my lunch went something like 'mum, I really want a sandwich' response from mother 'go make yourself one then you lazy sod' with response from me of 'dadddd I'm really hungry' followed by 'do you want scrambled egg on toast?' Hehe !

I'm not normally like that, today is just a one off where I know I can get away with it.

I'm planning on getting away with OH one last time before Bert and Ernie get here, maybe Cornwall after bank holiday weekend for a few days just the two of us. Stay in a hotel or b&b for some us time.

miraculous Netflix recommendations - breaking bad, orange is the new black, modern family, lie to me, and I'm sure there is something else I recently watched...

Breaking bad is amazing. I'm on series 3 at the moment, but I'm trying to go slowly so can't watch it too fast

DrewsWife · 02/08/2014 18:16

Evening girls. Just back from a lovely 2 day stint in hospital thanks to a trapped nerve in my left hip. Now on crutches with no end in sight.... On codeine so nice and spaced out.

Currently planning how to bling up my nice new utilitarian crutches.

miraculous2 · 02/08/2014 18:22

Ladylel, we clearly have similar taste Wink, I've done all of them except Modern Family. DH and I are finishing off Season 2 of Copper (on the US site, and it is a bit dark for my current hormonal state), then I'll need to find a new addiction.

Your baby nicknames make me laugh! I also have an anterior placenta, which is hopefully not wonky any more, but it still muffles the baby movements. A little glad of that today since the abs are quite tender!

DH has gone to get me fish and chips. I am so looking forward to eating and not feeling like I'm gonna POP!

miraculous2 · 02/08/2014 18:24

Cross posts. Drews OUCH, poor you. Lotsa I loved it and could not pace myself at all - respect.

Oooooh my and DH have just started watching Breaking Bad on Netfix too. We're only about half way through series 2 and I'm feeling miffed cuz DH is working till 2am and I can't watch it without him Sad

Had a very busy day today as we had DS's 4th birthday party. I literally haven't moved from the settee since we got home. DS had a great time though so it was worth it!

Thanks for the new thread Ladylel

PolytheneGirl · 02/08/2014 18:57

Me not my*

Peaceloveandbiscuits · 02/08/2014 18:58

Hurray lots of first, second and third prizes all round for us, and a medal even! Can't wait to enter the baby into the children's categories when they're older :)

SassehMonsta · 02/08/2014 19:40

Aww, lovely! :D Parties and prizes! DH keeps coming in and cuddling me, and poking belly to wake baby up. Baby takes a while to respond, so by the time its awake hes buggered off to the computer again and I'm left with the wiggler :)

PolytheneGirl · 02/08/2014 20:03

My bump has suddenly gone hard this week. DH thinks it's very funny and keeps patting and prodding it. I'm getting lots of extra cuddles too so I can't complain! Smile

Going to treat myself to a cup of coffee and a slice on spiderman birthday cake!

I saw an old school friend today and she said "how much longer you got to go?" And when I said I wasn't due till December she just replied "oh". Well at least I look pregnant now and not just fat!
