Well there's no info on the packaging about it being unsafe in pregnancy, so I slapped the socks on, and then DH made me check, and their website does say it's not recommended but only because apparently your skin is more sensitive during pregnancy. Ah fuck it, in for a penny...

AHH they've probably never tested it on pregnant feet before. I'm dying to try it. I have feet like tree bark! I ran my foot down DP's leg in bed the other night and he asked whether I had socks on!

I'll report back and let you know if my feet fall off. Poor pregnant feet.

Doesn't it take ten days or something? As soon as I'm out of birkenstocks this year I'll be doing it. I didn't want to publicly shed all over the place! :)

Well, they're off, but the bloody socks leaked, even with slipper socks on top of them, so be warned and sit very still when you put them on!

Assignment finished! Thank god! I now have a load of set books to read and about a week (hopefully) before my new course books arrive. I have to get ahead because of the baby being due just ater the start of my next two modules.

Bighairy I'm doing a humanities degree with the OU but that particular assignment was for a social sciences level 1 module that I only did because I need the points and it was the only one available to me. Social sciences is not my thing. Luckily level 1 modules don't count (as long as you pass anyway).

Anyway, I'm now officially 50% through my degree (once I get that assignment back anyway!). Yay!

@monkeybaby2 ... I'm due 11 dec ... I think. I recorded 14 dec at my dating scan and since then my doc has gone back to using my lmp to calculate my due date. Which is great and all, but my cycles were all over the place! Let's just say I'm due the same weekish lol
Thanks for the welcome everyone... I've been enjoying reading through this thread! Anyone else feeling like they've been kicked between the legs? I'm so achey I can't get out of a car or rise from a sitting position without some help and a lot of wincing! No one said this would happen!!!!!!

Woke up to a 10 minute disco party in my belly! Baby has gone back to sleep, but I havent, so got up, had left over indian from last night & a big bowl of cereal, now contemplating more cereal... Oops! Me thinks baby needs more.energy for more discos!

Sitting waiting for my 25 week mw appt. it always amazes me that i'm the first appt and she is running late!! How???

Mine too! Not appreciated at 7am when I had to get up 15 minutes later. Every minute of sleep counts. I'd worry if I didn't get it though

Morning all! I am off to hospital this morning for nerve conducion tests in my hands. As far as I know I am going to be electrocuted and have pins shoved in me....

A midwife from the hospital phoned me late last night about my thyroid results. I do have to go up 25mcg, which involves going to the doctors today, ugh.

I utterly overdid it yesterday. Work,midwife, finished assignment, top to bottom houseclean... I could sleep all day. Unfortunately I have another long day today. Holiday tomorrow though.

Really regretting breakfast choices. Large vomitting session brought it all back up again - really regretting the balti!! Dh still sleeping but dog lying quietly with me, trying to put his head on bump but I feel too sick for that.

Thought I was over.the puking stage, so Im hoping its a bug or.something just disagreeing, as also had the runs at the same time.

I think she finally called me in at 9.10 and proceeded to tell me she had 8 deliveries last night 6 brown and 2 liver and white I was like wtf??? Turned out she was talking puppies, thought I had a racist midwife!!

Everything is good, bp is excellent and heard the heart beat. Got my matb1 to hand in at work today. 13 weeks left at work and counting woo hoo
