We ended up at Brookwood military cemetery and wandered around for hours in the peace and quiet. Now braving going home...

I loved 'in the club' next to the OBeM and Nine Months later and She's having baby it's nice for some fiction to watch on pregnancy.
I say fiction they've probably done research into the whole pregnancy part but still. Is it me or is there a lot of baby stuff on TV ATM?

The plan to do my hospital bag went out the window, had a major lie in this morning altho I was the only one awake since 8am. DH got in at 4:30 from a stag do so had been a tender widdle bubba all day altho he has been nice and ventured out with me to get some tiny baby nappies to put in non existent hospital bag and also more pregnancare. Have got for max which is 2 a day plus a omega 3, figured I need as much boost as I can altho I have majorly gone into looking like I'm more 8 months than 6 months gone over the weekend :/
Tesco do Have a 3 for 2 offer on vitamins and as I am not banking in being pregnant past October I have enough supply to tide me over until mid Oct, and the 3rd packet brought was post natal breast feeding care :) being prepared lol!

I guess the pregnancy/baby stuff being on TV and in the shops at the moment is because so many babies are born in September (nine months after Christmas/NYE...)!

SilverLinings2014 · 17/08/2014 19:08

Sesseh, for a second there I thought you were talking about watching the new season of Doctor Who and I'd missed it! Phew, panic over.

Have spent the entire weekend tiling the kitchen. I am knackered beyond belief but it looks pretty good and I feel like actually I've achieved something for the first time in 24 weeks.

Hope the neighbours are quiet now Peace. You'll be able to get your own back on them this Christmas with a newborn. Obviously I hope you have a very happy baby but they all cry sometimes, and you may happen to find that standing in the part of your house that puts you closest to theirs is the best place to sooth the baby Wink

Peaceloveandbiscuits · 17/08/2014 19:16

Silver you are so on my wavelength Grin
We came back and settled down to watch a film, when it started again, so we went on an adventure to the local pub (rough as you like!). Finally home and all is quiet.

SilverLinings2014 · 17/08/2014 19:57

Revenge is a dish best served at 3 in the morning Grin

Having a very unhealthy pizza for tea, probably followed by cake! Must try to increase the fruit and veg intake this week.

BigHairyLeggedSpider · 17/08/2014 20:10

24 weeks today. Thats just insane. Had a doppler delivered today after the panic of last week. Is really nice to hear her heartbeat whenever I want. DP gets to hear too. Grin Went swimming this morning, got home, ate, then slept for full on two hours. It was lovely. Made veg curry for tea. I think thr antidepressants might be working because I cant bring myself to panic about the two audits I have next week, the assignment due in friday, and packing to go camping!!! Grin

Peaceloveandbiscuits · 17/08/2014 20:37

Oh god they've started again.

Peaceloveandbiscuits · 17/08/2014 20:47

I've put the water on for a bath but I might just drown myself instead. Hopefully they don't work during the week so this won't go on every bloody weekend :(

BigHairyLeggedSpider · 17/08/2014 21:26

Peace, maybe have a word about the banging and how long its likely to continue? Take it back about the antidepressants. I just stupidly read my work emails and am now panicing and stressing. Angry

Peaceloveandbiscuits · 17/08/2014 21:35

It's stopped again, but if it continues I will be having a word.
Don't fret, BigHairy, you can do this Smile

Bettycakes80 · 17/08/2014 21:51

Flippin heck today I've managed to consume both hollandaise sauce and Mountain Dew both of which are on the no list. Had no idea about the Mountain Dew till I saw on the back of the bottle do not drink if you're pregnant!

DrewsWife · 17/08/2014 21:52

Peace go round and growl.... I would. I'm angry for you!!!

Today has been shitty. Hub and I went out for lunch after church. We had plans to go home and dtd. Tmi yes I know. First time I have properly felt like it and my sodding hips went. So hobbled back to the car and drove slowly home. Hobbled to the house and went to bed with codeine.

Grrrrr. I want my glow. Angry

CatFaceCrayola · 17/08/2014 21:59

What's Mountain Dew got in it that isn't pregnant friendly?

drewswife most unfortunate. At least you felt like dtd...more than I can muster. Tmi sorry..."seeing to myself" is still occurring regularly but I just can't be bothered with actual sex.

and I want to want everything in sight...and then go find more things to eat

LisaC2611 · 17/08/2014 22:16

I've had a really nice day today, dad was round finishing off electrics in our new bathrooms and I went out shopping with mum. Asked mum what she wanted for Xmas and she ended up buying me a Xmas present. So much for my plan to be super organised!

Then came back and had a yummy roast dinner.

Has anyone found that their bump is starting to get in the way? I bent over yesterday morning to put my trainers on and I found it really difficult to bed down and tie my laces. I then did something which needed me to bend over tonight (can't remember what) and I noticed again that I found it difficult.

Peaceloveandbiscuits · 17/08/2014 22:36

Doesn't Mountain Dew have caffeine in it? I've never had it but I think it's an energy drink.

DrewsWife · 17/08/2014 22:38

I used to enjoy sex. But feeling rotten about it. Can't get comfy with dodgy hips. And bump on the way.

Have no interest in it or self service. But finally thought I might want it today.

CatFaceCrayola · 17/08/2014 22:39

Yep. I had to rethink my toe-nail trimming method yesterday. And I keep entirely misjudging how much more room my belly takes up. Tried to get past DH (who was stood in a doorway) just now, it's a good job he's skinny or I think we'd still be wedged there! :)

Peaceloveandbiscuits · 17/08/2014 22:40

Oh and we tried to DTD last week, but it was erm, physically impossible. Maybe I've shrivelled up through lack of use. DH likes to think he's grown...Hmm

DrewsWife · 17/08/2014 23:48

It's been a few weeks since I trimmed the hedge.... Last time I was in the shower. Took a dizzy turn and finished 1/2. Didn't get back to finish the other half and now worried incase I get knocked down. Grin My pants are clean but I'm seriously uneven.

DH has offered to do it for me. But I'm not letting him loose with a razor down there!! GrinGrin

CatFaceCrayola · 18/08/2014 00:04

Thanks for rescuing me drewswife no idea what I pressed, but I swear the entire thread ceased to exist! I actually had a little panic!

I've never been terribly routine with the trimming, but I reckon I'm just going to have to go natural as I can't get to it anymore

DrewsWife · 18/08/2014 00:37

Glad you are back!!!!!

I have just seen movement from the baby!!!!!!!!! Went from the odd flutter last week to kicking central and now visual contact!!!

Taura · 18/08/2014 07:15

That's lovely Drewswife - me too! And DP finally got to feel proper kicks last night (to be fair he's just not been lucky before, or his touch has a calming effect perhaps) so I'm glad we've passed that milestone :)

LotsaTuddles · 18/08/2014 08:10

I felt proper kicks last night, DH was asleep though.

I've been so incredibly ready to DTD all the time, it's just getting more awkward. Don't get me wrong, my hips and back are killing me, but I just can't help it. I feel like a teenager again Grin. DH is loving it, but he's exhausted all the time too

SassehMonsta · 18/08/2014 08:10

Reached a new low last night - vomitting from eating too much!! Self induced though, DH bet me I couldnt eat even half of what id piled on my plate(yummy roast), sp I stuffed loads down and seriously regretted it for hours and hours. Sp muh discomfort!! Couldnt get comfy as top half of bump was swollen. Ended up taking myself off to bed in babies room at 3am as I was keeping DH up with all my rolling over.feeling better this morning sp far.
