So I dont really do sensible breakfasts and temd to have a sandwich/whatever happens to be left over from last night. So this week I attempted to make a healthy no fuss breakfast. So I chucked some porridge oats, some raisins and sultanas and some soya milk into a big bowl and threw them in the fridge last night. Simple, I thought, healthy and.no sugar required as the rasins etc.infuse natural sugars. But them this morning at 5:30am (was hungry when I woke up to pee!) mt brain decides that its soooo much better to add in some chocolate powder. Ooops. Tastes lovely but really no longer healthy. Bah!

Ached yesterday all day, but a slightly better nights sleep helped today. Baby likes to disco first thing in the morning still

Somersetgirl1990 · 13/08/2014 09:28

I need to start making myself healthy breakfasts as well! My breakfast recently has consisted of chocolate spread on toast and a cup of tea Grin

Last night baby was having a rave in my tummy, it's the first time I've been able to see it through my skin and got to say, it was a bit creepy Hmm

CatFaceCrayola · 13/08/2014 10:15

Sits eating a fried egg butty whilst reading about healthy breakfasts! Oops!

Fed up of waking up ridiculously early. And then I cant get back to sleep and can't get comfy enough to just lie in bed.

Positive note...I'm going to Paris for a mini break next week :)

I love Paris, I've been twice pre-dc and once with ds. After going with ds, dh and I both agreed the next time we go we're going alone! However the way things are going we won't get a chance to do that until all our children have left home.

That said, since having ds I've found all holidays are too stressful to bother with!

CatFaceCrayola · 13/08/2014 12:31

It was really important to me that we go on holiday before Bubble arrives. DH done very little travelling. Hoping it's going to be lovely. Although I'm a little concerned about a)my inability to walk long distances b) my travel sickness on buses/trains.

Any Paris tips/recommendation??

Actually just saw my belly move when I got kicked :) pretty cool!

Hugmonster82 · 13/08/2014 12:33

I just ate half a tub of ice cream straight from the tub as a warm up to lunch. Feeling slightly ashamed now but baby seems to like it and is kicking away! I'm pretty glad I don't have any scales in the house.
Off to France this evening. Can't wait for a few days relaxing. It's also lovely not having to worry about looking good in a bikini for once. I'll rock the beached whale look this yearSmile

Hugmonster82 · 13/08/2014 12:39

Catface - the area around the sacre coeur/Montmartre is lovely. It's very hilly but worth it.

CatFaceCrayola · 13/08/2014 12:45

Hills are my enemy but I'll give it a go! (Wonder if I can hire a wheelchair and let DH push me about!)

CatFaceCrayola · 13/08/2014 12:46

Also...behold the 23 week bump! I feel MASSIVE!

Just got a call back from MW. Told to keep an eye on swelling and aches and pains over next 24 hours and if it doesn't sort itself out I'll need to either call or go in and see the day unit staff.
Boss wont be too chuffed about that, its clearing day tomorrow with A levels... phones will be off the hook ringing and we're only a small team as it is...

Day off and the internet is playing up so I'm sulking. I feel terrible as well, finally woke up at 10am which isn't like me (anymore). I've been pretty bad at remembering to take my meds this week, so I guess it's that. Slapped wrist. I had a Cornetto for breakfast Hmm

DrewsWife · 13/08/2014 13:31

CatFaceCrayola · 13/08/2014 14:49

Ha ha. drewswife your hubby picture cracked me up! Startled a nearby old lady with my cackle!!

I've just been a total FAT PIG and eaten McDonald's (not something I do very often at all) and the drive through man put a random unordered cheeseburger in my bag...so I ate that too. Oops!

Peaceloveandbiscuits · 13/08/2014 15:11

I think you've pulled, Catface

DillieDoily · 13/08/2014 15:16

Sorry for really basic question but how do you view people's photos? (I'm using the MN app on my iPhone)

22+4

Hugmonster82 · 13/08/2014 15:27

I don't think you can unfortunately. I had to look at the mobile web page to view photos.

DillieDoily · 13/08/2014 15:33

Ah thank you Hugmonster- wasn't sure if I was being even more brain dead than usual! (I'm pretty sure this baby is sucking away what little was left of my brain after having DS!)

Hugmonster82 · 13/08/2014 15:43

Know the feeling. I made it until midday at work yesterday before I realised I hadn't opened my emails. Wondered why things had been so quiet! Before I got pregnant I really believed that baby brain was something invented by men in order to undermine pregnant women. Now know it is very real - not that I'll ever admit that to DHSmile

Peaceloveandbiscuits · 13/08/2014 15:45

Speaking of baby brain, I meant to close my window in the car yesterday, but I opened the door instead Shock luckily DH was only parking up, not on the damn motorway!

DrewsWife · 13/08/2014 16:00

Hope it was good. I stuffed down three bags of spicy niknaks a wee yoghurt and 2 cinnamon flaky pastry things!!!! Just roll me over. I look sumo today!!
