Thanks notoast and Zebra I think I will at least broach the subject with my MW (who is the same MW that I had last time round) and see what she says. My main problem is that I just plain don't remember so much of what went on. It took me about a month after his birth to recall that I did actually try pushing for a few minutes to see if I could un-wedge him but I couldn't. And I have a vague recollection of the consultant coming into my room on the final morning and saying "What's she still doing here?" DH got the impression she thought I should've been taken for CS hours earlier...

Anyway, Hetsto just read your original post - I cried! Heartbreaking. Can I ask if you were ever given any further reason/explanation as to what happened? Please feel free not to answer that if you would rather not Thanks.

Symptom-wise, I virtually have none today... Sad. Trying not to let it worry me - after all if anything had gone wrong I'd most likely have had pains and/or bleeding, right...??? Confused

keeper I've got my booking in on the 4th August and will be asking about a debrief.
The hospital where I had my daughter run a service called "afterthoughts" . We thought about using it a few months after she was born but decided just to focus on the future. Now that I'm pregnant again we're definately going to need to use it.

To be honest more for my partner than me. I had exhaustion, bloodloss and remifentanyl haze so my recollection is a bit rose tinted. He however had to deal with a daughter in intensive care, a partner rushed off to surgery and a complete lack of information for 3 hours wondering if I was going to make it.

Tearing up a bit typing this and he gets very upset when we talk about it so a debrief can only help

To poster who asked about messaging, you can't see the message poster link on your phone, you have to go on iPad or PC. Or at least I can't see on my iPhone!!

What a relief we had our early scan today and we could see a very rapid heartbeat and baby fergie was measuring spot on. Whoop whoop...I know I shouldn't get too excited as I'm only 7weeks tmrw but already we are seeing more then when I had my mmc in April. We are back for a further scan in 10 days then we will be referred to the midwife.

Hey all, I think morning sickness hit with a bang today, it'd just been nausea and the odd case if throwing up, but today I could barely leave the loo at work in the morning!

Got a scan tomorrow with my second hospital appointment, so will hopefully see a heartbeat :)

Great news Fergie, congrats! Grin

I fell asleep at my desk (work from home) today, never ever been that tired before just from normal life. Tonight if DH keeps kicking me and rolling on me in the night you may have a murderer on your hands. Wink

I'm an emotional wreck today and I've got back ache.
I'm in a hotel room with a fan pointed at me. Fortunately in the office we've got aircon.
I'm sure the crying is hormones....hope this calms down
I don't know if the backache is a preg thing
Just got a copy of what to expect when you're expecting
Rang to book docs appt and the only day me and DH can do, they have an embargo on appointments as there only 2 docs in. WTAF!
Nearly sobbed down the phone to the receptionist.
Does it matter if I don't go til 7 weeks?
This is my first preg and I feel like I know nothing. Do I need to take DH with me?

Wow, I've been out or te day and we are 5 pages into the new thread!

Thanks hesto

Sorry to all the people feeling rubbish. Hopefully in one or two months we will be entering the easy phase of pregnancy and start blooming!

I've been out in the sun walking all day and was exhausted when I got home. The heat was making me feel quite ill.

Still not many symptoms, other than tiredness and struggling more with the heat than normal. Although today I turned down a piece of cake, which is unheard of for me, so maybe that is a symptom!

purple I didnt take DH to the doctor, he really wasn't needed. Very straight forward appointment. Not taking him to the booking in either and he isn't coming to the early scan (taking my MIL). He is away with work but even if he wasn't I think he would only come to the scan and not the other two appointments.

hesto what an awful thing to have gone through! fingers and toes crossed for this sticky bean x
