m27 ok so everyone thinks acid reflux is too much stomach acid - because that's what the adverts tell us. But it's actually too little stomach acid and heartburn/reflux wtc is a result of the stomach not working properly. So you need to increase your stomach acid.

I've had reflux issues all my life and the most terrible heartburn in my last pregnancy. DH is a personal trainer and the nutritionist at his gym persuaded me to try a HCL supplement. You take one with every meal and increase until you get a warm sensation I. Your stomach. Then you gradually reduce. The HCL increases your production of stomach acid. It cured my heartburn in a week, and I've never had any figesti

Argh stupid phone. I've never had any digestion issues since. No one EVER believes me and they continue to mask the problem with cooling things like gaviscom but never truly sorting out the problem.

I'm getting into a little routine now. Get up between 5 and 6, take ds for his morning poo. Vomit repeatedly for two or three hours. Fall asleep on sofa for a hour and a half snuggled up with ds in front of beebies. Wake up able to eat and drink and keep it down though still queasy.

Hi can I join please? I'm due #2 on 15th March. I'm six weeks on the nose today. I have my booking in appointment on the 7th August.

I've been quite reassured to read through the thread that few symptoms are not necessarily something to worry about (sorry to those with bad ms and heartburn - us no-symptomers must really get on your tits. I'm sure I'll be joining you by the loo soon enough...).

My boobs were so sore yesterday I couldn't get comfortable but they've ached pretty much since I came off the pill. I've been having bouts of tiredness but I'm not sure if I'm just being lazy... I'm certainly not getting any sympathy from DP or DS Hmm.

Trondheim I'm on Cyclizine too, not sure they are making any difference at all so far. Only had one this morning with breakfast though so will give it a while. We are off to London for a show and dinner at the Ivy this weekend, was really hoping the tablets would take the edge off it so I can enjoy.

Hi pisghetti,
Im a no-symptomer too! Really feeling for you ladies with sore boobs, heartburn, MS etc but with nothing more than slightly sensitive nips & backache Im sort of longing for more visible signs.
I keep sniffing things & going to DP "oh, can you smell X" in the hope that he'll say "no' & I can be all smug about developing pregnancy super smell sense!! But no luck...

Hi ladies, can't believe we've had to start a new thread already - and we've all still got around 7 months left!

Firstly my stats:

Age 36, dc2, edd 23rd March.

hetsto so sorry about your girls, can't imagine how you've coped - will definitely hold your hand during this pregnancy when necessary Thanks.

Struggling with the heat at work today - I'm on the top floor of an old cotton mill with no air flow and no air con. And to make things worse our phone system has
crashed and the engineer has commandeered my office to try to fix it so I can't even just sit at my desk with the fan blasting at me! Sorry, rant over, I'm just bored, hot and knackered!

I've just had my booking in appt. was all fine. Midwife was lovely and we just did a lot of chatting - 2hours worth in fact. Now waiting for my scan date. Can not wait. Think that I may have discovered part of the reason I feel so shit. My blood pressure is only 85/65. The region I'm in are doing some study thing where if you have results of higher than 1 in 1000 on your test things (NT and blood combination thing) you get sent for a harmony test. Which is a blood test instead of CVS. Sounds very interesting. But obviously fingers crossed I won't need it anyway.

Welcome to the newbies.

hetsto that must have been awful to go through. I hope we can be of some support to you through this next pregnancy.

Need to go into work now. Need the energy. I will now blame all my lack of get up and go on my lack of blood. I do feel very drained.

Wow second thread. noisychild yeah due date buddy - although with my first I was overdue so I'm planning on a 42 week pregnancy. I've had 2 mc in the last year so I'm really hoping my doctor will get me an early scan. Not quite feeling real although my boobs are sore and occasionally nauseous.

Afternoon all - wow can't believe we've talked ourselves hoarse and only four weeks in. So lovely to have so many of us on here. I think everyone is slightly nervous about taking the plunge and updating the stats list. Grin
I'm 8+3 today and nausea has finally hit this week. Totally fine when I wake up but brushing my teeth gets the retching going and then I can't stop. Anyone else struggling with brushing their teeth?
I haven't got a booking in appointment till 10+2 so hopefully that won't knock 12wk scan on too much.
Sending love and candied ginger to all those struggling with MS!

Butterpuff · 22/07/2014 12:30

Brisgirl yes, its the teeth brushing that gets me every morning. Horrible.
How will you wait till 10+2 for booking, seems forever.

Glad your booking went well Foscar I see my midwife for the first time Thursday, what did you talk about for 2 hours?! Husband was thinking about coming with me, should he, or should he stay away?

Sorry for not completely catching up.

Quick question.

There's a rather obvious stomach bug going through school today, about 6 children have been sent home already. Obviously I haven't (and don't want to) told anyone I'm pregnant. Should I try to make an excuse and go home?

pickled yes. I'd go home. Say you've started to vomit too. I wouldn't want a sick bug now.

butterpuff we talked about all sorts. Basic pregnancy advice and how I was feeling and mental health screening and how my home life was and loads of family history and my Medical history and wee test and blood tests and screening options. I wanted to take dh, but didn't following advice from here. I wouldn't bother. It would be very boring for them and the midwife likes to ask about how things are with home and partners and so on. So I think they like you on your own.

Brisgirl I had the same problem with my first and am dreading it starting again this time round cos it was bloody awful! I found I had to use half the amount of toothpaste and brush my bottom teeth, then rinse etc and have a minute of deep breathing before starting again with my top teeth, again with only a small amount of toothpaste. Otherwise it was a vicious circle - brush teeth, be sick so need to brush teeth again, be sick again....! Sad

Good luck, hope it improves!

When I went to my GP last week he said the MW would be in touch in time for my twelve week scan. I tried to call them direct yesterday to find out if this was right and move things along but I didn't get through. I shall try again today at some point.

foscar you have made me want to get over my dtd fear...

Symptom wise, I was very tired this morning (but doing a very boring task at work) and was quite nauseous for a couple of hours or so. I also have AF cramps on and off. they got quite pronounced last night - anyone else? Nothing else though...

My stats: I'm 30; this will be my first and EDD 20th March.

(Btw, does anyone know how cycle length affects EDD if at all?)

That makes me 5+4. Has anyone else written down how far along they'll be on random dates / upcoming events?! I need to get a life!
