Hi,

I've finally got my BFP and want to find others who want to chat and eat cake whilst being excited about cooking our little dragons.

I am 31yrs old, just got my BFP for #2.

Come in and sit down for the next nerve racking 9 months :)

Thank you. I feel really sad, it's definitely getting worse now. But maybe it just wasn't meant to be this time, I'll let you know.

BrixtonBunny · 01/08/2014 18:54

Dances that sounds really scary, hope you're ok. Sending hugs, will be thinking of you, hopefully it's just a weird cramp xxx

BrixtonBunny · 01/08/2014 18:54

Blink fingers crossed for you, really hope this works out xxx

cinnamongreyhound · 01/08/2014 19:13

So sorry to hear that BlinkandMiss and dancestomyowntune, sending hugs and best wishes to you Thanks will be looking out for your good news.

I had booking appointment before scan with both mine BrixtonBunny, got to go and fill in my form before I get mine this time so I'll let you know if it's the same. Perhaps your midwife is super busy. I think there used to be somewhere you could how many mothers per midwife there are in your area. I need to go without children as they have ears everywhere!

BlinkAndMiss · 01/08/2014 19:49

dances I have my fingers crossed for you too, hope they let you go home soon with everything ok.

BrixtonBunny · 01/08/2014 19:59

So... this whole using ovulation date rather than date of last period has been getting to me, did some googling and found this useful tool! You can put in the date of your last period OR the date you ovulated if you know, and it gives you an EDD, which would put me at 5 weeks today rather than 4 weeks! Still not feeling sick though so no idea how accurate that is.

Cinnamon I thought this might be useful for you too? x

BrixtonBunny · 01/08/2014 20:41

Ok so I've done a few more of those EDD calculators and I've sure I must be closer to five weeks than four. So of course I POAS to check, and... finally, a 2-3 weeks!

ladyflower23 · 01/08/2014 20:52

It seems like a bad day today with everyone's troubles. Hoping for the best for all of you x
Brixton I am sure you are 5 weeks based on your ov date. Yeh you usually have booking in and arrange scan then. Have they said anything about that?

BrixtonBunny · 01/08/2014 20:53

Lady no, when I spoke to GP she said I'd get a letter in the post... So like everything else I play the waiting game! X

cinnamongreyhound · 01/08/2014 21:00

I think I ovulated 16th brixtonBunny so puts edd 8th April according to that calculator. The earlier in April the better! Ds1 was due 13th, his birthday is 27th so be nice to have a couple of weeks between rather than days!

Cisforcat · 01/08/2014 21:27

My EDD is the same whether using ovulation or LMP- 1st April. However, DD was 15 days late so who knows.

April fools day would be a good date so let's hope this LO is on time!

Brixton I'm 5+2 now and still no symptoms yet so don't worry. Most people start feeling real symptoms from 6 weeks however I had none with my DD so if you still don't get any you might be one of the lucky ones ;)

pyrowall · 01/08/2014 22:05

brixton that's what mine showed on Tuesday!! Fab isn't it!

I OVd on the 13/14th which puts me at 5/4/15 whereas LMP puts me at 2/4/15.

Dance how are you doing this morning? Thanks Hope you're ok. X

Blink, how are you? Has the bleeding stopped? Sending hugs x

BlinkAndMiss · 02/08/2014 08:02

Much worse today, so I'm out Hmm. I actually feel ok about it this morning, I'm going to phone my GP just so there is a record of it. I never thought this would happen to me, not going to assume that again. I'll be fine though, it could have been much worse and if it had to happen then at least its early and I knew about it. I'm just going to try again next positive OPK Smile.

I hope everyone stays healthy and well, dance I hope everything is ok and that they're looking after you. I'll check back in for an update, stay positive X

BrixtonBunny · 02/08/2014 08:56

Oh blink, I'm so sorry. Hope your DP is supportive, look after yourself vas pop back in to tell us when you've got your BFP again - I'm sure it will be soon, I've heard that after mc lots of women are really fertile. Lots of love xxxx ThanksThanksThanks

AmIIndecisive · 02/08/2014 09:18

Sorry to hear that Hmm a similar thing happened to me 3 months ago. Doctor told me it had been a chemical pregnancy. I am nervous having to wait now til 9 weeks for a scan to check a heartbeat etc - sending you positivity ThanksThanks

ladyflower23 · 02/08/2014 09:21

I'm sorry blink that's very disappointing for you. It's good to hear you sounding so positive. Hopefully it won't be long till your next bfp that will stick. Take care and hope to see you back here soon x
Misty it sounds like what you're having is the normal sort of spotting that some women get in pref. Maybe if it's really stressing you out you could give your midwife a call and I'm sure she will put your mind at rest.
Hope you are ok this morning dances Flowers

roastpots · 02/08/2014 09:30

I'm sorry blink - that's really tough. But as others have said, I hope that it is not long before you get another BFP - well done for having such a positive attitude x x

And I hope that you are OK this morning dance and that you managed to get some sleep.

Lucky you cis not getting any symptoms with your DD! I have pretty bad nausea last time from about 5 weeks. It's only been really mild so far so I'm hoping that maybe this time will be better - never hurts to be optimistic!

Just had a really fun couple of hours playing with my 15m old DD - it's such a fun age. She's just started tottering around and is really communicative and cheeky. I keep trying to imagine what she will be like by April, but it's impossible to.

BrixtonBunny · 02/08/2014 09:43

I just got my booking in letter - September 12! And scan not until the 29th... Hmm

Slightly concerned that if I am indeed 5 weeks now then I'll be 13 and a half by the time I get my scan - and if there's a problem I'd like to know sooner. Should I ring up the hospital to explain, do you think?

tryinghard2 · 02/08/2014 09:50

Oh Brixton that's annoying! I realised that too when we saw the midwife and I forgot to tell her mine are usually 26 days as well. Cinnamon I think my dates are all the same as you.

Cisforcat · 02/08/2014 09:58

Brixton I wouldn't worry. As long as your scanned between 12 and 14 weeks it doesn't matter. I know from last time the hospitals are inundated and so v v unlikely they will change your app. Try not to worry. ( last time I had to request as early as poss due to getting married and going in honeymoon and they were a bit arsey then!)
I have my booking app on 27 august (at 9 weeks eve thinks should be at 8 as they were so booked up)and that's when they request a scan so I won't know for ages when mine is.
I'm trying not to even think about it which is SO much easier said than done!

I've woken up today with a rotten cold and throat with razor blades in it. Typical when you can't actually take anything for it!!
