Brixton I'm cramping a lot, I did last time too. My midwife said it's all the stretching (ouch!) last time and I, assuming the same this time too. It used to ease up when I drank water so I'm doing that this time too. And yes to the cm, loads last time and starting to get more this time (tmi). It's so gross! It's the mucus plug forming. I'm also confused about dates, my last cycle was 39 days but they've always been 29 before that. I didn't even know when to test, 39 days would have been Tuesday and I tested Thursday.
cinnamon thanks for the information! it doesn't make sense to have consultant led care if all is well so fingers crossed. I really hope you get your water birth this time, or at least not an induction. I had an induction of sorts last time, labour started itself and then failed it was awful. But, staying positive this time!
Cisforcat boo to sleepless nights! It's the only time I question having another baby, I'm rubbish without sleep. But everything changes so quickly, and I'd much prefer to already be having sleepless nights than to start them all over again :). I also have 2 stone to lose, I'd lost 3lbs this week too. Unfortunately I never lose my appetite. I think that's realistic to get back to where you are now within a year, that's certainly what I'm going to try for. I didn't take dieting seriously enough after DS, I really wish I had now. We really do have the rest of our lives to lose the rest of the weight.
Slimming World is more of an eating plan than a diet. It basically makes you eat loads of fruit, veg, fat free cheese and simple carbs. It balances out your blood sugar and stops the roller coaster of cravings and crashes which I seem to have all the time. You are also fairly limited in caffeine if you take milk as you can only have a certain amount of milk. I'm sure there are changes you have to implement if you are pregnant though, I'd guess you have to increase dairy and possibly sins but I'm not sure yet. I'll have to check.
Lucy61 I'm sorry about the spotting, it must be very stressful even if it is very common. Give yourself time to relax and go straight to EPU if your symptoms change, I know they say there isn't much they can do so early on but you might be seen so it's worth a chance. Keep us updated, I'll be thinking of you.
My mind seems to be on overdrive. I've just started to think about pushchairs, DS will be 2.6 when this one arrives and he doesn't walk far now although he can (he's a bolter!) and I just don't trust him. Do I get a double? Buggy board? Convert our Icandy? Aarghh! I don't want and can't afford to spend a fortune.
