Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 10th grads thread...celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed Grin

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

There is a stats thread here but its a zombie thread so enter at your own risk....... eeeeek

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 26th outing!

There is also a Just Mumming thread in postnatal here once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a secret facebook group, if you want to join, Pm me!

So, roll call below please, viroids! Smile

Ugh. Woken up with icky tummy. Feel shit Confused
To be honest, the way I'd read it, sleeping on your right isn't exactly bad for you & the baby, but sleeping on your left is better. Increased blood flow on left, normal blood flow on right, no blood flow on your back (in later pregnancy anyway!)...
I usually sleep on my right and I was worrying a bit, so DH did some sciency homework for me Smile
I reckon I spend a couple of hours a night on my left, the rest on my right.
Bought myself a maternity pillow from Mothercare for £20 and that seems to be helping with the overnight pelvis pain - it's like a big soft boomerang so you have it between your knees to straighten out pelvis, then an arm up the front to support bump.
Ugh. I feel ming. Not sure I feel safe leaving the toilet area Confused

RPopz · 15/08/2014 07:33

Oh no Ness Sad Hope it's all stopped now! xx

ZylaB · 15/08/2014 07:40

Hope you're feeling better ness

Nessalina · 15/08/2014 07:44

Managed to get back to sleep finally! Not sure what brought that on... To be fair my stomach has been either bunged up or freely flowing for most of this pregnancy - I'd love for it to be normal for a while!
Hurrah for Friday anyway! Grin

RPopz · 15/08/2014 08:46

Ah glad it's settled down Ness

20 week scan later...

ZylaB · 15/08/2014 08:48

It'll be fine rpopz enjoy saying hi to your little one :)

Are you finding out if it's a boy or a girl?

wilmabedrock · 15/08/2014 08:57

Hope it goes well popz. Did you have blood tests/nuchal measurement?

RPopz · 15/08/2014 08:59

Nope we're team yellow!! I could be persuaded to find out but Mr P doesn't want to... so am letting him have his own way for once Wink (Though secretly hoping the sonographer might let slip Grin )

Yeah I had them done Wil - came back low risk, 1/25000 I think, so hopefully no worries there xx

ZylaB · 15/08/2014 09:12

Have a lovely scan and come back and show us piccies! :)

wilmabedrock · 15/08/2014 09:28

It'll most likely be grand then, enjoy x

littleluna89 · 15/08/2014 11:49

Didn't manage to get on, so missed all the action! Congrats Cookie

Urgh, I'm sure last time round I laid on my front until well into the second trimester (teeny tiny madam), but I'm only 6 weeks in and it's so uncomfortable that I have to lay on my side already, pain in the ass as it's the only way i can sleep :(

I'm also going to assume I've bloated overnight, as suddenly none of my skirts fit, I have this horrible suspicion that I'm going to look like I'm carrying a whale by 20 weeks to make up for my near nonexistent bump last time....

wilmabedrock · 15/08/2014 12:51

I'm exactly the same luna, 2nd pgs suck!

littleluna89 · 15/08/2014 13:02

We can be whale like together wil how far along are you?

wilmabedrock · 15/08/2014 13:23

17 weeks. TBH I think it's massively overeating rather than baby related.

HungryHorace · 15/08/2014 13:42

Hi! Yes hands are rather full here, it has to be said. :-)

Juni, I slept mostly on my right for both pregnancies. No issues from it either, so don't worry too much about it.

Could you do come thing crafty for baby, like the cross stitches I did for my two? That'd keep you busy.

RPopz, itching can be hormonal, but I'd mention it to the MW as they'll want to take blood to make sure it's not OC. It most likely isn't. Piriton helped mine though.

Cookie, how're you all doing?

JuniDD · 15/08/2014 16:42

Hope the scan was lovely rpopz.
Good to hear from you horace, glad the right sleeping is ok really. People freak me out about stuff and don't realise the impact!

I'll have a think about crafty stuff...I do like X-stitch but my eyesight is crap & I'm shite at maths so really struggle. I'm not the most patient person!

Drive-by rant: wife of man I ranted about above forcing my DP to tell her the due date by making out he's a crap dad for not "knowing". My shit list gets ever longer...what's it got to do with her?! Even my mum doesn't actually know! (we're not telling anyone - you guys are lucky! - because we don't want hassle around the date).

ZylaB · 15/08/2014 19:51

Oh juni anyone not going along with how you and your DP want to do things, or who is causing issues isn't worth the time and attention, youre what's important!

Something that's starting to annoy me about being pg is every fucker else who insists on telling me what worked for them or helped them not be sick or feel better, and then don't believe me if I say I've tried it and it didn't work, it's like "oh, it worked for me, are you sure you did exactly what I said?" Yes I fucking did! And no it fucking didn't work! Not everyone's the same! My mum's worst, I know she means well, but I had to ask her (I was polite!) at my last hospital appointment to please not relate it all to what happened to her, as I'm not the same person and my pg won't be the same as hers and a lot of what happens to me is cos I'm diabetic etc. I like her support but she needs reigning in a bit sometimes.

Rant over, sorry lol

JuniDD · 15/08/2014 19:59

I think we should have a rant moment! I was so lucky not to be super-sick though I felt shite. One day something would help, another day it made me feel worse! Big hugs to you zyla, hang on in there, girl.

The hilarious thing about these "friends" is that we never see/speak to them but when we do, they seem to manage to cause trouble.

On a lighter note, I might do some Lego as my crafty pursuit. Shit eyesight is no barrier to building with bricks, eh?! Wink

RPopz · 15/08/2014 20:04

Tell em to Fuck the Fuck off Juni ... some people just have to make EVERYTHING about them!

Scan went well! Lazypopz wouldn't roll over though so we get a bonus scan in a couple of weeks time to double check spine and kidneys Grin

ZylaB · 15/08/2014 20:11

I love Lego!

I'm not that bad sick wise I think really, some days I'm fine, some days I'm not, it just doesn't help having 12 different bits of advice people are convinced are fail proof :)

Glad the scan went well rpopz

FurryScoob · 15/08/2014 20:23

Glad the scan went well rpopz

zyla puke in the people with the crap advise, my boss insisted MS was in my head & if I didn't think about it it would all go away. I still regret not puking across her desk!

First day back at work after 9 off & I'm knackered, 3 more weeks to go & I'm freeeeeeeeeee!

ZylaB · 15/08/2014 20:36

Haha might do that furry :) :)

wilmabedrock · 15/08/2014 20:52

Great news popz and the bonus of a double scan!

My rant today is about weddings. I fucking hate them. They're like a summons. Cost at least 500 quid to go to and then when you get there they're just the same as the last 50 you've been to. Adding to this having to go when you're fat, can't drink, going without a plus one and having to find a petite length maxi dress to cover hideous veins. Angry . Ah I feel better now.

littleluna89 · 15/08/2014 21:08

wil I'm a little behind you then, DH came home and told me I was definitely showing this evening, totally fab as we were trying to keep it quiet until it hit 12 weeks (yet every Tom, Dick and bloody Harry seems to know already!) And my work trousers don't fit O.o going to have to go on a panic shop tomorrow morning so see if Sainsburys has anything resembling navy trousers or skirts curses my stupid workplace for not going with black like the rest of the world has it been 40 weeks yet?

and I agree weddings are a serious pain, there was a family wedding half way across the country next April on my due date, so I think I've swiped my get out of jail free card for that!

JuniDD · 15/08/2014 21:15

ASOS for your dress, wil! My friend also uses leg make up if that helps? Oooh, or Heavenly Bump, they do good, reasonably priced maxi dresses. I wouldn't go to that one though, going without a plus one?! No thanks.

Don't think I said hello & welcome luna. Congrats!

Think we'll order the pram tomorrow, hurrah!

Had to give MrJuni a primer on how not to let people force you into stuff. Not looking good for the labour, is it?!

Hope the countdown goes quickly furry, at least it's a bit cooler out.
