Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 10th grads thread...celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed Grin

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

There is a stats thread here but its a zombie thread so enter at your own risk....... eeeeek

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 26th outing!

There is also a Just Mumming thread in postnatal here once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a secret facebook group, if you want to join, Pm me!

So, roll call below please, viroids! Smile

Bloody hell Zyla - vomtastic! Poor you! Confused

ZylaB · 14/08/2014 18:01

Ooh nice news on the pushchair! Might start showing the one we want to mums hehe, just got to decide on colour, we were going to choose wheat, but I've since started liking black, as both can be dressed up with blankets/toys etc, hmmmm

RPopz · 14/08/2014 18:05

Eek poor you Zyla - is it that bad every day?? Tiredness eased about 13-15 weeks for me... I can stay up til 11 now Grin Lol.

RPopz · 14/08/2014 18:05

Ooh great news Ness Smile

ZylaB · 14/08/2014 18:11

11pm is like a mythical time!

No the throwing up is weird, some days, like today, I'm just queasy, others. I spew a lot. Random baby! I think I'm going to nickname baby Zyla 'Nessie' cos when we had the scan on mon DH was shocked how quickly they found it, I said it wasn't like it had many places to hide, but he still thought they'd have to look! Which made me say it wasn't like searching for bloody Nessie! Hehe

wilmabedrock · 14/08/2014 19:20

17 weeks Zyla and still knackered. Sorry about the spewing, that sounds grim.

Don't think its proper SPD as I assume that would be agony, but am worried it's heading that way. I should be able to walk a good distance at this stage without needing to sit down and recover for half an hour!

HungryHorace · 14/08/2014 19:24

Wow, Cookie. Congratulations! Bit of a shock for you, I imagine. What've you called your son? What did he weigh?

See what happens when I stop paying attention?!

Who's next then?

JuniDD · 14/08/2014 20:23

you've probably got your hands full horace! Hope all's going well? I believe I am next...EDD 21.10.14 which is AGES away, mmkay?

Sorry about the puking zyla, you'll get there. I got a step up in energy at 15 weeks and then again at 17.

I am really struggling at the moment with doing enough things to keep my brain happy but not doing so much I mess myself up and can't do anything. Also not good for my mental health. Trial and error I guess but wish someone could hand me a daily timetable! Had a weird dizzy spell today but have been out for dinner with a friend and feel pretty much ok. Have banjaxed my left shoulder so sleeping "properly" is out. SIGH! Moan over.

wil my pelvis was playing me up a bit but I tried really hard to keep my knees together and it was at the peak of the heat so I was walking with my thighs pressed together to avoid chub rub, which I think helped! I'm not sure the Lazy Daisy stuff helped tbh as it was a lot of sitting on the hard floor. [sad. It's a lot better now so either it went away or the shuffling helped. I think the NHS website has some good info on pelvic pain.

ZylaB · 14/08/2014 20:38

Hugs juni yes I wish I had a list of what I could cope with every day, on mon we did a lot, it was all stuff I wanted to do, but it knocked me for six!

Careful with the dizzy, take it easy! Can you sleep on your right side?

wilmabedrock · 14/08/2014 20:42

Thanks juni, I'll have a look. The yoga really helps actually and if I stopped being a lazy arse and did it every day, that may be a solution. Is your blood pressure usually ok when you see midwife? Just wondering if that's behind dizzy spells.

JuniDD · 14/08/2014 21:11

I do sleep on my right but get the FEAR a bit, y'know? Glad I'm not alone zyla, I want to do stuff but then get wiped out but sitting down too much isn't good either.

I wonder if it was a blood pressure thing, I'd been sat down all morning after a terrible night's sleep (fecking cat at the window constantly plus drunk MrJuni breathing booze fumes all over me, I swear we'll get more sleep with a newborn) so thought I should have a rest this morning...was that the wrong thing to do? GAH! It's so hard. I go really odd if I don't do much all day so I guess these first couple of weeks of leave will be figuring it out. Blood pressure usually "perfect" at midwife but before I was pg it was often slightly high so quite confused by that!

ramble ramble...

wilmabedrock · 14/08/2014 21:27

No don't think it's the wrong thing to do. It's probably just a crap pregnancy thing. Could be just a dip in bp, as long as you're eating/drinking enough and you don't think you could be anaemic? Probably try lying on your left though.

ZylaB · 14/08/2014 21:30

Pls explain the sleeping on the left thing to me, I sort of heard it, but don't know why?

wilmabedrock · 14/08/2014 21:38

Mmm I don't really know. I think it's something to do with increasing blood flow to the heart. Disclaimer: this may be bullshit.

JuniDD · 14/08/2014 21:42

It's meant to be the optimal way to lie for blood flow to the placenta so the baby's meant to get more nutrients etc. My mum's been banging on about it since she knew and I wish I'd slept on my back more until it became uncomfortable as lying on my side isn't massively pelvis friendly.

With the dizzy spell I went really hot in the face, had buzzing in my ears and nearly threw up, is that a low bp thing? I've never fainted before so don't know what it's like. Haven't had a call re my last blood test but as they do them so far between it could've gone down and I wouldn't know (although don't know if it works like that!)

JuniDD · 14/08/2014 21:44

Oh yeah, I've also got restless legs now! Starting to hate going to bed!

wilmabedrock · 14/08/2014 21:54

I hate restless legs, so annoying!

I'm not sure juni, it sounds a bit like vertigo. If you get it again maybe get the doctor to check your ears?

Stupidly googled the lying on your left thing and read a terrifying Daily Mail article. I advise noone else read it.

ZylaB · 14/08/2014 22:04

Ok thanks for the info. juni be careful! the buzzing etc sounds like a dizzy symptom! just take it easy!

wilmabedrock · 14/08/2014 22:08

Oh God I have discovered varicose veins. In my next life I am getting pregnant in my 20s.

RPopz · 14/08/2014 22:09

I'm going to raise you all with itching! Anyone else got super itchy skin??

wilmabedrock · 14/08/2014 22:12

Yes popz, it's how I discovered my veins!

RPopz · 14/08/2014 22:12

Haha oh God... I better stop then!

JuniDD · 14/08/2014 22:31

Yikes! Dare I ask where the veins are, wil?! How do all these celebs make it look so glam?!

rpopz I know it probably doesn't help that much but are you moisturising as much as you can? I always have done and I think keeping skin supple helps with the itching. BUT, and I am not trying to scare you (sorry, I will) but keep an eye on it as it can be a symptom of obstetric choletasis - usually the hands and feet though. My friend got it.

Thanks for listening and chatting tonight darlings, feeling a lot more cheered up. I got my first "mum to be" present today which includes leg gel so gonna slather some of that on and see if I can get some sleep. My mum's coming tomorrow first thing to take me to the supermarket cos I can't drive (shoulder) and have visitors coming! Life!

wilmabedrock · 14/08/2014 22:36

Hahaha yeah I realise that could be misconstrued after my thrush episode! On my calf. It has been a bit noticeable since my first pg but hadn't noticed how much more pronounced they had become. Fuck I have a wedding to go to soon and now I'm going to have to try to find something long.

RPopz · 14/08/2014 22:38

I moisturise when I remember! I don't think it's bad enough for the liver thing... just annoying. Its mostly my ankles and hands Confused

Hope the gel does the trick Smile xx
