Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 10th grads thread...celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed Grin

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

There is a stats thread here but its a zombie thread so enter at your own risk....... eeeeek

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 26th outing!

There is also a Just Mumming thread in postnatal here once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a secret facebook group, if you want to join, Pm me!

So, roll call below please, viroids! Smile

We've all been there Zyla. Try to wait until your scan though as it's just a source of stress. I've never thrown up in either pregnancy and symptoms change all the time. But saying all this, I'm still struggling to believe I'm pg even after the scan so know how you feel. Thanks

Went to yoga tonight. Feel like I should have gone for Lazy Daisy...

ZylaB · 05/08/2014 21:40

Thanks wil

In fact thanks everyone for all the advice and support, it helps so much being able to talk to others who've been there!

Nessalina · 05/08/2014 22:18

Poor you Zyla! We've all been through those crazy days when you're convinced that you must have been making it up! Confused It's so silly, but entirely natural to freak out occasionally. Just steer clear of the expensive pee sticks Wink

We ordered a new car today!! Like a proper new one - I feel like a real grown up Grin

Minion · 06/08/2014 05:10

No Hooya from me either, we all know how many I did....

ZylaB · 06/08/2014 06:34

Ooh nice ness what are you getting?

wilmabedrock · 06/08/2014 09:04

Oooh details Ness, very envious.

I really wish my hayfever would bugger off now. Sneezing and a ruined pelvic floor are not a good combination.

Nessalina · 06/08/2014 09:52

It's a Ford B-Max! It's what they call a 'mini MPV', it's a hatchback that's designed for families basically. It has sliding rear doors for easy car seat insertion, it's got v.generous boot, and the back seats fold down individually so you can have even more stuff Grin It's not the coolest, but it's about as cool an uncool car as we could get, lol. Finance was v.reasonable too!

Wil - that sucks Confused I don't know how I'd be managing without my allergy tablets, I'd just be a hideous mess!

JuniDD · 06/08/2014 10:07

Ooh new car! Enjoy!

wil I hear you on the hay fever and pelvic floor. TMI I am now a tena lady user! But trying to do the exercises as much as I can and they do help!

I slept so well last night! Giving the dream geni another go and it seemed to actually work. Plus it's cooled down a lot. Smile

wilmabedrock · 06/08/2014 10:25

What's a dream genie?

TBH hayfever is so much better but just annoying when a sneeze sneaks up on you!

Car sounds perfect Ness. We really need a new one but don't see how we can afford to pay out any more per month. If we come into any random money, that one will be going on the list though, would love some decent boot space.

Nessalina · 06/08/2014 11:52

I'm on a mission this week, just eyeing up nursery furniture! John Lewis have a nice range of cots/ cot beds Smile £99 for their basic cot bed and the reviews are v.g. We have the smallest room in the world for our nursery though, so not sure if we'll have to get a cot instead to save space.
We were going to mooch round Mothercare but I've enjoyed armchair shopping so far - I just know they'd blind us with science and we'd end up buying a set we don't need!!
How's everyone else's nursery shaping up? For those with sprogs - what couldn't you live without?!

FurryScoob · 06/08/2014 12:31

Our nursery is floor to ceiling full of shit,
We've now got a week off to empty all the crap out & redecorate, DP's currently being useful & reading his phone.

Car sounds great ness

Hope the hayfever don't last too long for you all.

wilmabedrock · 06/08/2014 12:56

We also have a tiny room for nursery this time. Picking up a cot from my friend and will have a chest of drawers and the nursing chair and that will probably be it as can't fit anything else. That's all MiniWil has except she has a large built in wardrobe and a cotbed as opposed to a cot. The chair is really useful.

JuniDD · 06/08/2014 13:50

We're not doing a nursery as such, but trying to decide whether to swap bedrooms as our neighbours are very fussy about noise Confused

Where do you get those nursing chairs? I really like the look of them.

Pisghetti · 06/08/2014 14:51

Car sounds good Ness

I haven't even started thinking nursery yet. My third bedroom is currently used as a walk in wardrobe. DS had a cot, a chest of drawers, some shelves and a wicker chair. The chair was intended for nursing but he was sleeping through by the time he went into his own room so it was never used. I always fancied one of those changing tables but can't honestly say I missed not having one.

wilmabedrock · 06/08/2014 14:57

We got ours online maybe from kiddicare or the pram centre or something. But my friend has one of those wooden ikea chairs with a really soft sheepskin (or something) cover and it's so comfy that if I was to buy again, I might get that.

Just got DS results back and really low chance which is great considering age and all. Quite glad I got them done now.

wilmabedrock · 06/08/2014 15:00

I find chair useful for stories before bed etc and also if they are getting a feed before afternoon nap.

RPopz · 06/08/2014 18:04

Ooh I'm itching to get started on the nursery... already got the soft furnishings... Blush Got to wait for the plasterer to do his thing so we can paint first tho... Sad

wilmabedrock · 06/08/2014 18:28

Is this the same guy who was supposed to do it ages ago popz?

We're not painting. Room is light blue and I figure if we have a girl I can just pretty it up a bit if necessary.

JuniDD · 06/08/2014 19:24

We're not painting either. Opposite to wil, our spare room is pink pink pink (the only room I got to choose all the colours!) so we'll see what happens there... ;)

I was at my friend's new house the other day and she had one of those nursing chairs with footstool set up in her daughter's bedroom. She's nearly three so obviously getting good use out of it.

I shall have a look at Kiddicare now...I wonder at what point MrJuni is going to say there shall be no more stuff - he fancies himself a minimalist. Hard for him living with hoardy old me. I guess the lack of nursery is my bargaining chip! Wink

wilmabedrock · 06/08/2014 19:42

Haha well we use ours every day so I'd say it's definitely worth it. There are different makes but one is 'kub' I think if that helps you search. Although I'm sure 'nursing chair' would bring them up. The wider ones are comfier.

I'm supposed to be watching this Independence debate I recorded last night but I'm so knackered I think I'll watch Corrie instead!

JuniDD · 06/08/2014 20:14

WIDE wil? Whatchu sayin' about my behind?! Wink
They're actually much more reasonably priced than I was expecting! Boring colours, but then I suppose sick-up is easier to hide on beige than navy.

wilmabedrock · 06/08/2014 20:33

Hahahaha probably says more about my ass Juni! I sat on a thinner one in a shop and it wasn't as good. Yeah my friend got one years ago and it was navy but by the time I looked they were all boring beige. You could get a cover made I suppose? Mine is quite often covered in laundry

cookielove · 06/08/2014 20:44

Hello all, we sorted our nursery out the other day, it to was full of shite! Now all it has is a wardrobe, a book case, dh's bike and dh's mattress!

Guess where I have been today, oh sofa shopping I hear you say! Well no! Back in hospital again! Who doesn't want us to own a sofa, fess up! My bloody blood pressure once again went to high. Had midwife at 2pm and was sent to hospital after, left at half 7!!

OP posts:
ZylaB · 06/08/2014 20:46

Tmi time :)

My nipples are the temperature of a furnace! Just my nipples, DH has conferred and doesn't know whether to be sympathetic of amused lol.

Oh and after whining I had felt too well last night I threw up so much I made my throat bleed and also threw up lots this morning, that'll teach me!! :)

I want a nursing chair, love the slidy/rocky ones :). But not allowed to buy big things yet hehe x

ZylaB · 06/08/2014 20:47

Oh cookie glad you're home now! Chill out and make DH run around after you
