cookielove · 13/07/2014 19:23

Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 10th grads thread...celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed Grin

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

There is a stats thread here but its a zombie thread so enter at your own risk....... eeeeek

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 26th outing!

There is also a Just Mumming thread in postnatal here once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a secret facebook group, if you want to join, Pm me!

So, roll call below please, viroids! Smile

I was actually hungry earlier, so had a bit of cold chicken, low fat no carb so no injection... Good idea!

Except not, apparently baby doesn't like chicken, which is a shame cos it was one of my favourites, and now I've gone off the idea of eating it ever again after throwing it up very comprehensively!

Maybe baby's a veggie?

RPopz · 29/07/2014 19:14

That's nothing Zyla ... this baby didn't even like chocolate!!! Shock

ZylaB · 29/07/2014 19:21

,!!

By the way, just read that kiddicare are closing there stores and going back to being online only and there's sales on atm, maybe worth a look?

cookielove · 29/07/2014 19:26

Omg are kiddcare really, i went to one of the stores the other day and its fab!! They do have a massive sale on though!

Congratulations chat :)

Oh my god the day i have had today has been epic, i would have rather gone to work! Bought a sofa (yay) that won't fit in the frigging flat (nay) so it is now stuck in the communal hall way and has to go back tomorrow, i even bloody cried, to be fair it is rather upsetting!!

ChatEnOeuf · 29/07/2014 19:35

No chocolate? Crazy baby! We like carbs here, and not much else...

I do so hate mind games like that, especially within family. Daft bat.

Don't know what flavour yet, but the money is on identical as there's only one sac. Eek! I'm shocked, excited and a tiny bit terrified!

Minion · 29/07/2014 19:42

Oh wowsers chat, that's amazing news, congratulations girl.
Well I've retreated to the bath as am afraid back and hip pain has found me. To be fair, I was on all fours trying to get staples out of the floor before carpet gets fitted tomoz.
Not such a good day, the chemo isn't working for dad, nor the experimental pills he was trying out. They are leaving it 4 weeks to flush out then starting something else.
I'm numb with fear.
Sorry to bring a downer on Fred, just needed to write it down.

ZylaB · 29/07/2014 19:46

Congrats again chat so so exciting!

cookie it could be worse... I had a sofa made once, only for it to arrive and me to realise I'd measured wrong, that physics degree was really worth it lol!

ZylaB · 29/07/2014 19:47

Hugs minion we're here any time you want to talk about it xx

RPopz · 29/07/2014 20:18

Ooh the ms carb fest... I remember that one Chat ... Wink.

Sorry to hear about the sofa cookie! That is annoying. And exactly the sort of thing husbands are around to blame for Wink

Have never been to kiddicare. Not sure if there are any near me but I heard earlier that it's closing down - apparently the in-store discounts are way better than anything online.

Sorry to hear about your Dad Min Sad My Dad is also having chemo, he's had prostate cancer for a long time. He's currently going through a phase of upsetting and alienating all those close to him... Families are so odd!! Anyway, here when you need us xxxx

wilmabedrock · 29/07/2014 20:25

So sorry to hear that Min, I hope you're coping ok. Write whatever you need to here, we're around for good and bad times. Thanks

I'm so thirsty today and boobs are back to hurting which makes me feel a bit happier. Cannot shake this feeling that something is 'wrong'. Really hoping it's just a hangover from the mc. Definitely didn't feel like this in first pg so it's weird.

wilmabedrock · 29/07/2014 20:27

Sorry to hear about your Dad too Popz.

ChatEnOeuf · 29/07/2014 21:13

Sorry to hear about your dad, Min rant away here. Hope the bath is helping.

Hooray for symptoms wil, I really hope it's a paranoia thing and everything it tip-top in there. I can't remember much in the way of action between 14 weeks (return of tea-drinking ability) and 17/8 weeks (first movement).

cookielove · 29/07/2014 22:08

Oooh no sorry to here your dad's aren't well rpopz and min

Erm i am the only one to blame, as i bought it and i didn't measure, but dh did come home and give me a cuddle which was nice cause i was feeling really shit about it!!

I may be able to swap it for something else, but it was such a nice sofa!!

ZylaB · 30/07/2014 06:34

No way you can take legs off or get it in through a window cookie? Hate it when I really like something and then find out I can't have it (isn't life annoying!)

On my side, my arse is behaving better, but now I don't seem to be able to eat anything..at all, which is making the sugar levels and injections interesting!

wilmabedrock · 30/07/2014 08:09

No I'm sure you're right Chat. I did feel like I was having movement and now nothing but I know it's too early to worry about that.

Glad the arse is better Zyla!

I had a crap sleep. Dreamt I was teaching alongside my old high school maths teacher (so random) and I couldn't control the kids or find any of the textbooks. It was horrible.

RPopz · 30/07/2014 08:10

Ah thanks viroids. Save your sympathy for miss Minion though... my Dad is an ass.

MIL has indeed sent us an email. And very self righteous it was too! She demands we apologize... for threatening her... err what? Hmm

Back to work today... Angry

RPopz · 30/07/2014 08:10

Haha glad your arse is holding up Zyla Smile x

wilmabedrock · 30/07/2014 08:47

What? Threatening her? How? Totally bonkers. I would suggest writing a really rational, non-emotional response outlining the actual chain of events but it sounds like she's too far gone to listen to facts. I don't think I know any people like this. I always read about them in AIBU and think 'that can't be real'. My sister tends to befriend these types and then gets involved in all sorts of drama but I have escaped thus far. I reckon it's a lifetime of having noone to stand up to them and it just sort of spirals.

RPopz · 30/07/2014 10:54

Yeah her email pretty much confirmed to me that she has no intention of apologising... she genuinely thinks she is in the right and we have been totally unreasonable... Hmm Apparently when DH said "I'm not speaking to you anymore because I might say something I'll regret" - that was a threat.... (despite the fact she genuinely threatened us first!). Apparently she's going to seriously fall out with us if we don't apologize. Well ain't gonna happen lady so... Grin

RPopz · 30/07/2014 10:55

I made him delete the email so I can't read it again or reply!!

ZylaB · 30/07/2014 11:25

Bet you get another one in a couple of days saying that you're in trouble for not replying :D

Pisghetti · 30/07/2014 12:24

Aw Cookie I'd cry about that! My last house was frigging awkward and I bought an L shaped sofa which had to be pivoted in through a window. Removals men scuffed it to hell moving it into the new house too which I wasn't happy about. Only finished paying for it this month!

Popz I bet the ignoring drives her bonkers Mwah-ha-ha!

Good news on the arse Zyla DP opened up the vivarium this morning as the glass had frosted over and by god does he have one stinky reptile! Had to leave for work early because I was I danger of vomming over everything. I've so far found two foodstuffs that quell my nausea - chippy chips and fake steak slices. I'm going to get MASSIVE!

cookielove · 30/07/2014 12:43

Taking the sofa back right now, grrr! We can't get in the window unless we take the window out and work out some kind of pully system as we are a first floor flat. Very annoying, not only a nice sofa but also cheap!

Looking at ikea ones now that come in pieces!!

OP posts:
wilmabedrock · 30/07/2014 15:44

Probably the best course of action Cookie, what a pain though.

Oh she'll 'seriously' fall out with you popz? Dread to think what that entails if this is her not being serious about it.

Thirsty and knackered again today. I am eagerly awaiting my loreal trimester. Surely it should have started by now?

RPopz · 30/07/2014 18:10

Oh I'm sure we'll just get another email in a couple of days. She's all mouth and no trousers. Poison pen is her thing.

Yeah, glowing... when does that start then??? Hmm
