Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 10th grads thread...celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

There is a stats thread here but its a zombie thread so enter at your own risk....... eeeeek

I have 7 weeks 3 daya to go, with odd days off in between, gonna work till just under two weeks before I am due. To get the most on the other side!

I'm already on countdown....29 weeks to go. I'm using holiday to finish a few weeks before due date and to take me up to Christmas 2015 so I'll start back in the new year 2016. All needs to be talked through with HR first...

That's what I want to do pis but my manager seemed a bit funny saying I wouldn't have earnt the holidays for 2015 yet, despite me saying I would earn them while on mat leave. Work also don't like you to carry leave over, so if I can't use 2015 hols in jan before I go on mat leave, then I won't be able to use them..and I'm not having that!

Scan is at 11 today cookie leaving soon, parking is a nightmare even with a permit!

Zyla my employers have a 'use it or lose it' policy for leave and that applies to accrued leave while on mat leave too. If you have an HR department they should be able to help out? I've not come across needing to 'earn' leave before! Well except for the first year or so.

I have 9 weeks til mat leave starts, but only 7 in work. Or 34 working days to be exact!!! not that I'm counting

Zyla, AFAIK the law around mat leave is that you should take any leave that will be accrued in the first 6 months of your mat leave (OML - ordinary mat leave) before you go, then before you come back you take any leave accrued in the second half of your mat leave (AML - additional mat leave) and this includes bank holidays! That's how my company does it anyway. So I'm starting Mat leave two weeks before I'm due in mid Oct, but I have to take my Jan- April 2015 holiday, plus Nov - April bank hols, before I go, so I actually finish 5 weeks before the birth
When I come back, I'll have to take May - Oct leave on return, so I don't come back til mid Nov. Then I'll have a week still to take Nov-Dec. oooooodles of leave!
So if yours works out like this they can't refuse you or make you lose out on leave, but they're not obliged to let you take it all at the end if that's what you'd prefer (though it's all the same time off work so they'd be dicks not to!)... I'd have liked to do it that way so I could squeeze in both '14 & '15 Xmas, but it's 'against policy'

Bleeding has all but stopped, and there is not one, but two little foetal poles nestled in my uterus. Both measuring 5+6, both with tiny little heartbeats. I nearly fell off the table when the sonographer told me - would have been mighty embarrassing as it was an internal!

Been checking back all afternoon for your update are they identical or fraternal (or can't they tell yet)? Exciting (and a bit scary I guess!)!

Haha... it is really getting to MIL that we're ignoring her now... She's sending us an email apparently that she hopes we will have the "decency to at least if not reply" Unless it says "sorry I acted like a big spoilt two year old and then made a nasty little threat just because you didn't come over on Sunday" I suspect it'll be getting deleted .

Such a nightmare to get back wil. Bit different to the Olympics with no tube/underground Hey ho, just finished at weightlifting which was great and very comfortable! At least I know I can walk several miles and not keel over. Pelvis not happy with me tho.

Am 28 weeks today, entering 3rd trimester and getting scared..

Haha Zyla she's already played that card... basically the reason she has her phone off so often (and hence why she didn't get our messages til the last minute) is because of her MIL who has dementia and often calls at inappropriate times. Instead of just accepting that this is her choice and therefore will affect anyone trying to contact her... she just keeps trying to guilt trip us with this reason....
